Winter is finally here and with it comes a pre season video of some of my croneez from NOVA...this is just a little edit we made over 3 days of riding...nothing too serious, just gettin' warmed up for the rest of the long season we have ahead of us! keep posted for more in the near future. After a long hiatus of, skating, sleeping, working, driving, waiting, and bojangling, I'm finally settled into CO. Ive gotten my license plates and CO Drivers License. Its official and I love it here. here are some long lost photos that have been sitting on my hard drive and a few from here in CO.

im currently 'snailing' across the US. I say snailing because all of my wordly possessions are contained within my vehicle, my home is with me, like a snail. I left Northern VA early sunday morning at 6 am, stopped off at Kettering, Ohio to skate the DC skate plaza. stopped to visit family in the chicago area and sleep. Today (monday) i headed up to wisconsin to visit more family. I am going to be skating/shooting the next few days and then make the final stretch to Colorado where i will finish up the collective edit of the trip. stay tuned!

Summer is nearing an end for me. Starting to prepare for the move out to the midwest. Had a great summer. Worked on a bunch of different projects and just finished the edit that was in the works for a good portion of the summer. things kept delaying the finished product; hurt ankles, hurt heels, broken boards, and other different things. It was filmed completely on the canon 5dmk2 which is one of canons dslr cameras that also shoots video. the hardest part about filming with this camera is the fact it is not actually a video camera, but a still camera that just happens to shoot video. this video was made to test out the video capabilities...theyre awesome.

as well as shooting the video, i have been working on a few other photo projects. i did a shoot for an up and coming clothing company, Official Nice, as well as an album cover for another local up and coming band, The Wave Exchange. On top of all of that, I have been trying to shoot skating as much as possible.

Its been a while since I updated. I made the move to woodbridge for the summer and have been shooting almost everyday consistently for a while. This isnt even a fraction of how much Ive shot but there are so many its hard to pick. Hopefully more soon

as the last few days of school come to an end, I find myself taking more and more pictures focusing on portraits and work I can actually sell. Invested in a nice canon lens for portraits. I got the opportunity to do a few jobs in the past few weeks. One of my favorite shoots was at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA. I originally went out to shoot my buddy Bryce and his band "The Fielding Mellish" (who coincidentally enough, I just got done doing the album artwork for) but in the process I was roped in to shoot the artist he was opening for, Englishman from Shangoband. All in all, very fun and Im excited to work more with all these guys. Plan on seeing the album covers soon.

Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head

A storm had rolled through the area recently and I wanted to opportunity to take some pictures. These are some raindrops I got. It was really hard to shoot these in the rain with it being pitch-black and pouring outside. Its really cool how each raindrop is unique kind of like a snowflake.

An Experimental Clip I filmed, edited and directed as my end of senior year project for my TV production class. It all started with an idea to make a skate edit focused on the simplicity of it and to focus on lighting. Also, I wanted to stray from a normal skate video and shoot it entirely in a studio. The idea then evolved into an idea to sample skate sounds and mix it into a song as the beat to have playing as the sound track. 95% of the track is skate sounds other than the piano and the higher pitch ringing just to make it alittle more interesting and pleasurable on the ears haha. Once I had a solid idea for the song and skating, I then wanted to take it a step further so I incorporated a voice over/interview aspect to it. I am really happy with the way it turned out. It is recommended you view with a pair of headphones on so you can absorb the subtle sounds of the skateboard mixed in the song. Enjoy!

The Sound of Skateboarding was chosen as the "Outstanding Signature Award" at the Fairfax Academy's 'Academy Awards' event. 6/3/10
