Gospel singer-songwriter J. Moss dropped his new single, “Good Bad” from his upcoming, fifth studio album, V4…The Other Side of Victory. For those of you unfamiliar with this Detroit-native, he is the cousin of The Clark Sisters and a member of the production trio PAJAM, who have worked with over 50 gospel, soul RB artists like Michelle Williams, R. Kelly, Kierra Sheard, Dru Hill Patti LaBelle Boyz II Men.

2012 may turn out to be a pretty good year for concert/festival goers and fans of Beyonce, rap duo Kanye West and Jay-Z and songbirds Brandy and Monica.

To kick things off, word on the street is that Beyonce may be a headline act for this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, Illinois. According to an anonymous insider’s Lollapalooza twitter account, @LollaLeaks, Beyonce has been included in the major line-up alongside artists like Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Not too sure how legit this account is, but hey, Lollapalooza isn’t until August 3rd-5th. That’s enough time for Blue’s mommy to get back in business, right?

On the other hand, after city hopping during the last quarter of 2011, Jay-Z and Kanye West are taking their Watch the Throne tour to Europe. The 12-date tour will start rolling on May 20 at the O2 Arena in London and wrap up at the LG Arena in Birminham, UK. The pre-sale begins on Thursday, Friday 23rd and general public tickets will go sale on Friday, February 24. For more info about the exact tour dates, head over to rocnation.com.

And finally, after the long-awaited release of their duet single, “It All Belongs To Me,” RB favorites Brandy and Monica will be taking part in joint summer tour later this year. During an interview with Jenny Boom Boom of Hot 93.7 (LISTEN HERE), Monica shared that the two of them are “dedicated to a tour in the summer.” No word on where and when the shows will be held.

Only days after Whitney Houston’s death, rumors that Bobby Brown will be releasing a tell-all book have surfaced and he’s spilling all the beans!

Four years ago, Whitney Houston’s ex-hubby, Bobby Brown, planned to sell a tell-all book about his life with the singer. And although that book was never published because of the lack of interest at the time.

But now some say Bobby is once again trying to make it happen because of the increased popularity of his dead superstar wife. According to HuffingtonPost:

“Back in 2008, the interest in a book on Whitney Houston wasn’t that great,” a major publisher says. “Whitney had fallen off the radar back then … but now, following her tragic death, the market has changed. Now is the time for a book that details an honest look into the life of Whitney.”

But standing in Bobby’s way is the confidentiality agreement he signed when his divorce was finalized, plus the impact that a tell-all would have on his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

“Bobby loves all his children,” his former attorney, Phaedra Parks told me days after Whitney died. “He would do anything to protect all his children.”

But friends of Whitney tell say they are not so sure.

“This is a man who left his ex-wife’s funeral because he didn’t like his seats and went to a paying gig that night,” a friend of the diva tells me. “He didn’t get on stage that night because he needed to sing his greatest hits or because Whitney would have wanted him to entertain his fans, he did it to get a paycheck — the same reason he now wants to write a tell-all book.”

Nicki Minaj sat down with Vogue to show her “True Colors” for their March 2012 issue and discussed all types of topics such as wanting to be a lawyer, alter egos, and dropping $50K on some shoes.

She recounts this from a Manhattan hotel suite, clad in leggings, a custom-bejeweled jacket from the Versace for HM line (she performed at its extravagant launch), and an early–Marilyn Monroe fuchsia wig. Minaj also reveals a far soberer side than her stage act might indicate. “A huge part of me wanted to be a lawyer! I would do a really good job as a prosecutor,” she alleges. That’s not the singer’s only alternative personality—famous for creating stage alter egos with names like Roman Zolanski, she confesses that she sometimes imagines herself clad in a bikini and high heels, cooking dinner for a breadwinning husband.

Born in Trinidad, Minaj came to the States when she was five, grew up in Queens, and attended the prestigious LaGuardia high school for the performing arts (it was the model for the school in Fame). Her fashion education also began there. “I was dressing in Tommy Hilfiger baggy shirts and Boss jeans, but then I met a person who dressed like a tiny lady—pantsuits, heels, lots of makeup. I thought she was larger than life. She once did my makeup—I had never seen myself made up before. I didn’t want to wash it off; I felt like I had one day to live this fantasy of being a glamour girl.”

She currently lives in a condo in L.A., where she moved for the weather but also to escape “some bad memories.” Though she declines to divulge much about her personal life, she readily admits to snuggling up in hotel beds, unwinding after a performance by watching Forensic Files and Judge Judy. Minaj insists she’s terrible at small talk and never goes out much, except for the occasional foray to a favorite restaurant. “I went to Negril the other night, and I brought, like, ten of the fans who were waiting outside with me, and bought them all food!”

“If I can combine designer things with other things, I’m a happy camper.” Not so with accessories. At one time she was spending $50,000 a month on “Giuseppe, Versace, YSL, and Fendi shoes. And I bought tons of Vuitton bags. When you’re a young girl from Queens, you’re going to stock up on those bags.” She’s planning “an enormous foundation to nurture girls. The Nicki Minaj girl is a fun, artsy girl who can become a fierce force to be reckoned with on Wall Street! They hang on my every word, so I tell them, go to school, be ambitious. The worst position is to be financially dependent on the man.” And what of that alternate Nicki, serving her lord and master a martini by the pool? The fuchsia waves shake furiously. “I could never be that girl!”
