			<description><![CDATA[University of Mary Washington head baseball coach Tom Sheridan has been selected as a member of the 2009 induction class of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. The Northeast chapter banquet ceremony will take place on October 18, 2009, in Scranton. The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame encompasses four distinct regions and was founded in 1962 to perpetuate the memory of athletes who have brought lasting fame and recognition to the state of Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements.

			<title><![CDATA[Cox Named CAC Baseball Player of the Week]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Mary Washington Sr. RHP ANDREW COX (Orlando, Fla./Trinity) was named the CAC Baseball Player of the Week after throwing a four-hit, complete-game shutout against North Carolina Wesley, which recently won the USA South Conference title.  Cox walked one and struck out five in the 3-0 victory.  He started the week by being named the UMW Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year co-winner with track &amp; field All-American Justin German.
