			<title><![CDATA[Crockett Places 38th in 100 Freestyle at NCAA Swimming Championships]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[University of Mary Washington sophomore Sarah Crockett finished in 38th place in the 100 yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III National Swimming Championships on Saturday in Minneapolis, Minn. Crockett finished with a time of 52.70, just off her CAC and school record time. Crockett, who swam in three events at the championships, gained All-America honors in the 200 freestyle by placing fifth on Thursday night.

			<description><![CDATA[University of Mary Washington sophomore STEPHEN CLENDENIN (Ashburn, Va./Home schooled) gained All-America honors for the first time on Friday at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. Clendenin broke his own school and conference record in the 200 yard butterfly by a half second, with a time of 1:51.59, placing 13th in the nation. He swam 1:51.72 in the preliminaries, which seeded him 16th for the finals.

Crockett finished in fifth place, with a time of 1:51.52, after breaking the school and conference records in the event with a time of 1:51.32 in the morning preliminaries.

			<description><![CDATA[University of Mary Washington sophomores Stephen Clendenin and Sarah Crockett competed at day one of the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. Clendenin finished 34th in the 200 individual medley in the preliminaries with a time of 1:54.93, while Crockett swam the 500 freestyle in 5:02.03, good for 29th place. Both swimmers will continue at the championships on Thursday.

			<description><![CDATA[The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team won its 19th consecutive Capital Athletic Conference championship on Sunday night, while the Eagle men won the CAC title for the 15th time, including for the ninth straight year, at the 2009 CAC Swimming Championships. Eagle head coach Matt Sellman was named the CAC Men's Coach of the Year, while sophomore Stephen Clendenin was named CAC Men's Swimmer of the Year and Tyler Henderson was named the men's Rookie of the Year. For the women, freshman Megan DeSmit was named the CAC Rookie of the Year.]]></description>

 In the evening finals, the Eagles swam even better, with five first place finishes, seven NCAA times, and four CAC and school records. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams completed the 2009 regular season with a dual meet swep over Randolph-Macon College's women and Hood College's men and women on Friday night at Goolrick Natatorium. The Eagle women close the regular season undefeated with an 9-0 overall record, marking the first time in program history the Eagles completed the entire season without tasting defeat, while the men finish the regular schedule at 8-1. The women topped Randolph-Macon, 140-61, and Hood, 187-15, while the men topped Hood, 143-27.]]></description>
