I am a citizen my wife is going through the process. We had our interview but at the meeting we were told to get the results of a pending case with regarding DUI for my wife and until then the process would be on hold.

Well its been a while and the case is still pending my wife's Temporary Employment card will expire at the end of August.

1. Do we just fill out another I-765 for a renewal? or are there other forms needed or something totally different?

Also, she wants to go visit her parents who live in another country. Is she aloud to leave during this process? and if so how and what forms are needed & are there any costs associated with this?
