Correa, USF men's golf bounce back and dominate the Jackrabbit Invitational

After a frustrating finish at the Carpet Capital Collegiate two weeks ago, sophomore Claudio Correa refocused and captured a share of the win at the Jackrabbit Invitational at The Prairie Golf Club over the weekend.

University of South Florida sophomore women’s golfer Christina Miller made a big impression in her first tournament with the Bulls. Miller, a transfer from Mississippi, claimed the individual title at the Golfweek Program Challenge in Pawley’s Island.

Former Durant High standout Amy West has verbally committed to USF, her mother, Donna, said Sunday. West currently is a sophomore at Daytona State College, which she helped win a NJCAA national championship in the spring.

Jim Fee, USF's men's golf coach since 1996, is leaving that job and moving into a new role as USF's director of athletic events and championships. USF finished 11th out of 12 schools in this year's Big East tournament.
