Unleashed Technologies is excited to be attending DrupalCon and providing valuable insight to our clients about the platforms future during the event on our blog. It's that time of year again where the Drupal community gathers to share it's experiences, knowledge, and the future of the platform with one another. This year Unleashed Technologies will be attending in full force providing updates with regard to the different educational tracks, thoughts on the key note presentation, and much more.

It's amazing to see Drupal as a platform mature from its humble beginnings gaining strong recognition and acceptance with version 6. With the latest version of Drupal 7 and a focus on the way the world is changing, Drupal 8 will be one of the first open source platforms to forge the path for a "mobile first" mentality. Tuesday Evening, Feb 7th, Unleashed Technologies was thrilled to be able to be a part of an event put on by the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council and Gross Mendelsohn's own, Erika Pecora. The event was hosted at Mustang Alley's in Baltimore. You guessed it, bowling!

Bowling is a game many of us have not had the opportunity to play regulary throughout the years, so needless to say, hilarity ensued. We were able to gather some neat pictures though that will hopefully entice you to join us for some fun and networking in the future.

We would like to just take a moment and thank Erika Pecora, the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council , and all those involved with planning this event for a wonderful evening. Unleashed Technologies Featured on Shunra Performance Blog

Football Crisis Escalates at Unleashed Technologies

Unleashed Technologies is a house divided coming into the AFC Championship weekend. As you can imagine being a Maryland based company the majority of team members are Ravens fan. However, there are two of us (with a potential third on the way) that are die hard New England Patriots fans. Today the office tension escalated to epic porportions in which I (Michael Spinosa) was forced to violence against both Mark Moylan and Matt Curtin who wore their Raven's jersey's to the office.

The battle lines have been drawn and the team stands ready to do fight on opposite ends this coming Sunday at 3pm. While both teams are strong going into the game it's clear to Ben Guarino and myself that the New England Patriots will emerge victorious. The office teams are as follows:

Since we learned of our selection, our team has thought a lot about how we got to this point. What has made Unleashed Technologies achieve such growth? Unleashed Technologies' Soft Launch of New Website

We're excited to announce the launch of our new website in its beginning phases to everyone out on the internet. The new site built on Drupal 7 incorporates cutting edge technology in conjunction with forward thinking design for impact and usability. In its first iteration you'll find creative use of HTML 5 and its ability to render animation that keeps in account the diversity of mobile platforms and consistency amongst all browsers (except for I.E. 6). Since we have much more to do we're going to show the iterative steps to what we consider the finalized product through the end of the year. These enhancements will include:

Mobile Website
Integrated Account Management
Expanded E-Commerce Capabilities
Resource Center for Non-Profits and Commercial Visitors
Individual Design Enhancements Per Page for an Interactive Experience

As we continue through to each new step a corresponding News and Blog post will be provided so that developers and also Directors can get a better grasp on technical challenges, best practices, and watch the level of effort involved in building an Enterprise web presence. Baltimore Sun Covers UT during Turkey Day

Unleashed Technologies, LLC was published in the Baltimore Sun this past week during the Thanksgiving time frame for it's ability to grow during the recession. I find it interesting that the government sector on a state and local level is continuing to cut contracts and positions while Unleashed Technologies is reporting great growth in the private sector.

Welcome Mark Moylan to the Unleashed Technologies

Unleashed Technologies is excited to welcome our newest addition to the team; Mark Moylan. Mark is a well respected web developer and Linux system administrator in the Baltimore, MD area bringing his unique experience and skill set to Unleashed Technologies. Mark officially started a week ago from last Monday and has already fit in perfectly with our cast of characters offering expertise in SugarCRM, Linux Web Environments, and Drupal development. Mark is best known for his ability to manage and bring resolution to complex programmatic issues and his ability to be very dynamic on developing for the SugarCRM platform.

Expect to see Mark contributing to your upcoming project and feel free to drop him a line and congratulate him on his new position. We look forward to getting Mark, Ben G., and another additional to the team (to be announced shortly) in the Unleashed Technologies fish tank. We've got some catching up to do!
