Improving Student Learning in General Education through Assessment

The Interim Provost's Office, the Assessment Office and CETL at UW-Superior announce this one day summer campus event to be held in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.

This will be an excellent opportunity for the faculty and staff involved in the General Education (GE) instruction to:

Learn about the General Education program's newly adopted learning goals and assessment plan;
Discuss how the GE learning goals are related to and assessed in each of the GE courses;
Provide the General Education Committee with insights and questions regarding the GE student learning.

General Education (GE) is a foundation of our Public Liberal Arts mission, and it is critical for all of us to find out how well the current GE program is serving students to achieve the GE learning goals.

To register / RSVP for this event, email Emily Levings at cetl@uwsuper.edu no later than April 30, 2012. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Also, a stipend of $100 will be paid to the attending faculty and staff with 9-month appointments (including part-time and distance learning staff, regardless of the summer teaching contract).
