  <title>College students use undergrad NSF grant to study migration in France</title>
<description>&lt;p&gt;The National Science Foundation has awarded two University of Chicago undergraduate students with summer research grants in France, where they are studying different aspects of France&amp;rsquo;s large and varied immigrant communities. Their work in anthropology and public policy will help the United States government understand its role in a world where hundreds of millions of people move away from their homeland.&lt;/p&gt;

<description>&lt;p&gt;Three graduate students in physics have received the 21st annual Nathan Sugarman Awards for Student Research.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Christopher John Meyer received the award &amp;ldquo;For his work on the measurement of the dijet cross section using the ATLAS detector at CERN&amp;rsquo;s Large Hadron Collider.&amp;rdquo; Meyer&amp;rsquo;s graduate research adviser is Mark Oreglia, professor in physics.&lt;/p&gt;
