Azlina & Khairil

2012-09-22T00:30:00.000+08:00

The best thing about being a wedding photographer is when you get to shoot your friend's wedding. Azlina (Syazlie) and Khairil (GG) are both my good friends and photographers from our Brunei Forever Forum, in fact it was in through the forum that their love journey began. Here I share some highlights from their wedding few months back. Once again, congratulations to both of you.

I'll be back!

2012-09-21T22:32:00.002+08:00

My apologies for the terribly long hiatus. It's been a very hectic year, swamped with work, and now that I've decided to pursue further studies, I am also swamped with heaps of assignments, revisions and exams. Of course, I still shoot weddings, although my blog and Facebook seriously lack updates. The trend is now everyone shares better on Instagram and so do I. You can find me there @ucingitam, for a much more 'live update' and an 'up close and personal' insight of me.

Well, amidst my busy schedule tahap Ultraman, please pray I have spare 15 minutes somewhere along this life journey just to share my photography work and at the same time to keep this blog alive.

P/s. this one is from a recent assignment in collaboration with my close associates Muiz UHN and Azeez Zainal, an evidence that I am still alive and kicking!

Hello everyone. It’s been a while, I know people don’t really look at blogs nowadays, thanks to Facebook with its easier and faster tools for marketing. Nevertheless, I’ll just share some of my work from an assignment last July.

‘Polishing’ the eyes

2011-07-26T00:04:00.001+08:00

For the 3rd time in Brunei, CandidSYNDROME™ Brunei organised another Asah Mata session this time featuring another world class photographer Manny Librido, named one of the five best photographers of the world by a Photoshop Guru and photographer Scott Kelby. Indeed, from the 1 day workshop, I learned a great deal of stuff I never knew before. Well, knowledge is vast. Here’s one of my work during the workshop, will share more soon.

Atiqah & Adib, Engagement

As time flies by, age is beginning to take its toll on us. After almost 4 years of shooting weddings, I think I can no longer carry my heavy Lowepro vest and it’s load around for a prolonged duration due to occupational health and safety concerns. I began to realise that this is not a one man job and while I’ve been scouting potential assistants, I also began to realise that it is so damn hard to find one so committed despite having an awesome talent. Ah well, here’s some shots from a recent assignment. Cheerful couple, I cant wait to work with them in October.

Hello gang, my apologies for the extreme lack of updates. Here’s some photos from one of my recent wedding assignments. I was sick during this assignment, and second shooter could not make it, but it didn’t stop me from performing, and it was an awesome session.

Shanghai

2011-04-27T15:54:00.001+08:00

I spend 4 days in Shanghai last 2 weeks but too bad I didn’t go out much to take photos. Oh well, duty travel, leisure travel and photography travel are 3 different things. But heck, I did not want to lose the sight of sunset over The Bund and Shanghai cityscape.

Enroute: Delhi to Varanasi

2011-04-04T16:09:00.001+08:00

It was the eve of Diwali, all trains were full and we had to squeeze ourselves with our bags and gears in a 7-seater. The trip took 17 hours. Yes 17 hours. When the sun rises, we were gifted with the beauty of the Indian countryside, the golden brown paddy field, the curious villagers. We just had to stop to stretch our legs and shoot away.

Some shots taken during our highly anticipated outing during our beloved country’s National Day. This year I didn’t apply for media pass. Nevertheless outside the padang was also filled with colours and cheerful faces.
