1947-July 7-William Rhodes of Phoenix, Arizona allegedly saw a disk circling his locality during sunset and took two photographs. The resulting pictures show a disk-like object with a round front and a square tail in plane form. These photographs have been examined by experts who state they are true photographic images and do not appear to be imperfection in the emulsion or imperfections in the lens. Often called the "Roswell UFO." Some info taken from: www.nicap.org

Morristown, New Jersey, 1947. On the morning of July 10, 1947, John H. Janssen, editor of the Daily Record (an American aviation journal) was flying his own plane from Morristown Airport in New Jersey. He spotted six, luminous spherical craft with hazy rings around them flying in a trail high in the sky above him. He grabbed his camera and shot a picture. He was only able to get four of the six objects in the image frame. Two weeks later, on July 23rd, he had another encounter of what looked to him like the same or very similar aircraft. He was again flying his airplane out of Morristown, and was at 6,000 ft.

Washington D. C. October 29, 1942. This was taken above Washington, D.C. on October 29 1942. An object at the very right of the frame was initially thought to represent a high-wing monoplane flying down and right from the upper left-hand corner. Unusually it appears too fast for the shutter, its configuration is more disk-like and it is followed by an exceptionally long dark streak (this extends back and upwards to the top of the frame) that is normally associated with jet aircraft.

Witnesses observe small objects flying at high altitude, of red or silver-plated color, moving in formation at high speed, and untouched by the AAA salvos. This large object had been hitby many AAA projectiles, according to the reports. The anti-aircraft defence continued to shoot at UFOs without results.
1929-SlideWard-Colorado Ward Sawmill, April-This incident is retold by the photographers daughter: "This photo was taken by my father Edward Pline at the sawmill in Ward where we lived at the time. I think it was 1929. I was about six years old then. My father was there to photograph the sawmill for some reason or another, and as he was taking the photo, he described a 'terrible thunderous bellow,' and a large round thing as big as a very large boulder that moved through the air above them. You can see it in the picture. None of the sawmill workers saw the thing in the photo, but they all heard the sound and felt the ground shudder. Later in my life I tried researching the incident at the County Historical Society, but I did not find any references to it. My father passed on a few years after the incident, and I have not found any surviving sawmill workers from that time." Hetty Pline
1870-Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. This photo is dubbed, "the oldest UFO photograph ever taken." This item was the subject of bidding at Ebay in 2002, when finally the photo was purchased for $385.00 by Samuel M. Sherman, who was the president of Independent-International Pictures Corp. This was originally a "stereo" photograph. Certainly it was difficult to manipulate photos at that time, and remember, there were no flying objects then; at least, not from this world.
1927-Oregon. Taken in Cave Junction, Oregon. There is some question as to whether the photo was taken in '26 or '27, but nonetheless, if this is an authentic photograph it is incredible. Okay it's time now to abandon the Moon and Earth based investigative evidence tact I've recently been on and get back to some Mars evidence as presented below. All of the evidence in this report is sourced from the Mars Spirit rover science data.

The above first 3-panel image demonstrates what very suspiciously appears to be a partially visible fossil or old skeletal remains of a small creature partially buried in the soil. This image and anomaly was brought to my attention by a viewer who wishes to remain anonymous.

Note that the object is in a tightly curled position. The most notable and suggestive feature to this effect is what may be a curled line of body vertebra. The partially worn skull would be pointed toward us on the right end of the vertebra chain. The tail end curved around on the left is either missing or out of sight down deeper in the soil.

Now this could be just a chance configuration of worn rock taking this shape. On the other hand, I'm sure than any paleontologist or archeologist experienced in field work walking nearby and seeing this would immediately recognize this for its potential and would quickly alter course to come over and inspect it. That doesn't make it the remains of a creature but anyone will have to admit that it is highly suggestive of being the remains of some creature and worth the look.

The above second 3-panel image demonstrates what clearly appears to be an armless legless serpentine creature caught in the open among the rocks that are likely its home. This image and evidence was brought to my attention by Rolf Varga of Zimbabwee to the benefit of us all.

Note the narrow body, flat fluke like tail propped up on the rock with the end of it discolored, the slightly gapping mouth, and the dark eye socket. If this is a creature as it appears, it is likely dead and desiccated but the point is that it may be a creature with flesh on it that was not too long ago alive on Mars with all the implications of that.

In the top image panel, I want you to notice that black arrows are not only pointing out the creature but also two very nearby rocks that are unlike other rocks in this terrain. Both of these rocks and especially the one on the right, show signs of being hollow with various openings into the hollow interior. On the rock on the right, please note the darker color surrounding the elliptical opening on the rock's left. Now note that the end of the creatures tail area also shows a similar darker color. This suggests that, if this is a creature as it appears, the creature may have been coming and going from the interior of this rock via this hole in it.

It may be that the serpentine creature's flattened tail is used like a single arm leveraging the creature around among the rocks as well as in and out of this elliptical hole into the protective rock interior with the result of staining the rock face outside area of the hole. Yes it would seem to be too effort intensive for practical survival of such a creature ill equipped as it is to cope with a dry open air environment. That tends to make its presence here theoretically impossible.

However, do you really trust everything you see in the rover imaging? In the rover imaging you look out over distant vistas from the rover and see nothing but dry soil and rocks and never any water. Do you really believe every bit of such views completely? For example, after taking a close serious look at my 2008 Report #141 evidence, do you really believe the distant rover views represent reality or that some kind of plants exist out there in the distance propagating themselves via gas bags lifting and traveling on the wind containing spores or seeds?

It's the same here with this physical terrain. Suppose a nearby body of water disguised and hidden in the rover imaging overflowed temporarily into this area carrying this aquatic eel like creature in the flood with it and some other swimming creatures. Suppose the water remained for a few months and then gradually dried up. Suppose this poor creature caught in these unfortunate circumstances and being primarily an aquatic serpentine life form used to living in holes at ground level was the last to survive struggling around in the increasingly shallow water living off of other swimming creatures that were dying.

Finally, there is nothing left to eat in the tiny amount of water that is left and this creature must itself succumb stranded out in the open just outside its temporary din. In a rapid drying process the flesh does not rot off of the bones but desiccates into the condition you see here and the body survives intact perhaps for years. The visual evidence is here in front of you. You must decide what may represent truth and what does not.

The above #3 through #6 images are examples of various Earth based living and healthy moray eels. The visual resemblance to the Mars image #2 evidence is quite obvious, especially if you take into consideration the shrinking and flattening deformity that may happen in the Mars body desiccation process. Note that the two left images demonstrate the Earth aquatic eels inside their holes while the two right images demonstrate these powerful eels with most of their body being visible.

I've been swimming around them at times and it always amazed me what a tiny hole such a big moray eel could get into and come out of. I've seen huge ones wrapped around inside a jar or can that I wouldn't have believed one half their size could have fit into. Sometimes they are actually friendly but, as a diver, you want to be careful crossing too near one's hole in the coral and especially if water visibility is poor. Your arm passing by in front of its hole can be mistaken as food. If they strike and latch on, they stay latched on, they are nearly impossible to get off, and far too powerful for you to pull them out of the hole.

On the other hand, note that the Earth moray eels typically have a hole on their side well back of the head area. This is a valve from which water is expelled and there are actually gills back in this area. Water comes in through the gapping mouth, crosses through the gills, and is expelled out of this hole/valve in close quarters well behind the head so that blown ground debris in close quarters is minimized around the head and eyes.

Now, although the rover imaging is too poor resolution wise to be definitive about this, note that we do not see this hole or valve visible on the Mars eel like creature. It may be there but just plastered shut as the carcass compacts, solidifies, and flattens as it desiccates. It also may be there but the carcass is just to light reflective and bright to see such small detail.

On the other hand, is it possible that this Mars creature evolved from Mars eel aquatic stock and adapted to sand/soil life exposed to open air conditions? Could it be possible that such an adapted creature could function with that paddle like tail pushing and propelling itself first through mud and then later adaptation through the sand/soil? Remember, this is a entirely different world with its own evolutionary paths. For all we know there could even be a muddy and watery world not too far below the surface we see. The creature may come up from that world under the rock for protection and make forays out in the open from that rock protection.

Well so much for consideration of the Mars eel like creature visual evidence. Now let's move on to some life evidence as growth on some rocks that is going to be hard to deny unless your psychology is just into denial.

The above seventh report 3-panel Mars Spirit rover image says it all. It is some of the bio-life evidence that I had been holding back for inclusion in the first book I'm about to release. I include it here because the book evidence must be in poor print quality black and white not showing it off as its best whereas the color tint you see here is more revealing. By the way, as an aside and to his credit this image but not this particular evidence was also brought to my attention by Pawel Szezesiak of Ostrowite, Poland exploring other features in it.

It demonstrates some kind of vegetation or lichen growth especially prominent on one of the rocks so that just enough detail of it can be seen and recognized. This is taken from a NASA/JPL press release image. The false color in that official image for the evidence is a very unrealistic dark blue false color added at official level. I removed that false color and added a more realistic color tint as well as lightening and sharpening it up some for increased clarity but nothing else. Note that the above 150% and 200% panel images are especially telling.

This original dark blue false color of the evidence brings up a point. As most of you know the real true color of living objects frequently gives them away as far as the human eye being able to identify such evidence is concerned. For example, much of vegetative life is a green color for reasons most of you are familiar with. On the other hand, lichen life for example works on a little different symbiotic principle often demonstrating fairly strong yellows, browns, grays, and even reds. The official position would have us believe that the rover imaging is only in black and white and not in color and that they know what kind of false color to add to an image. If you really completely believe that, I have a large bridge that I would like to sell you at a bargain price.

If you wanted to obfuscated image of life evidence in general, producing faithful color images for the public and scientists to view would be a big no no. If you wanted to obfuscate images to prevent recognition of most life in general, you would obtain faithful color images for your own purposes but would publicly release only science data images desaturated of color. Black and white and various shades of gray alone does a very good job of hiding life evidence. Likewise, adding an overall false color tint such as the dark blue also does a decent job of hiding living evidence.

Lichen and life like that growing on Mars rocks often consists of rounded lumpy textures that in monochrome imaging including false color tint is very hard to distinguish from the true rock's surface and especially when the rocks are more weather worn with many pits in them. On the other hand, pitted rocks tend to trap and accumulate nutrients blown on the wind in the small crevasses and holes and life loves to attach to this type of rock. Yet most of the time in the monochrome imaging, it is hard to identify and I usually pass over it knowing that too few viewers will be able to recognize it.

The above 7th image evidence is different. The growth on this rock is considerable and it has cooperated with us visually by being the spriggy twiggy type like a miniature tangled forest mass as opposed to the rounded lumpy texture rock hugging type. Further, a twiggy branching portion of the mass is profiled and can be seen against a smooth dark shadow background that tends to make its twiggy nature stand out in sharp contrast against that background. There is little chance that any viewers except those in denial will mistake or confuse this growth on the rock imaged here with a rough pitted or lumpy rock surface.

So while some scientist debate the question of microbial evidence in Mars meteorite rock and also anomalous methane gas pockets in the atmosphere that suggests the possible presence of life sources somewhere on Mars and as the secrecy agenda gradually prepares the way for change in these tiny incremental foot dragging steps, look here at what is right under their noses.

When you observe living evidence like this, now you do still believe the official position and instrument data that the Mars atmosphere is 95.32% carbon dioxide with only trace amounts of nitrogen, oxygen, and water so essential to life as we know it here on Earth don't you? If so, let's talk bridges.

ADDENDUM (2/13/2009)

Normally I report only evidence that I feel will be obvious enough for most viewers to recognize. Often this leaves other objects in scenes that I regard as suggestive or even highly suggestive but not quite of the quality to point out for public exposure here in this arena and then viewers sometimes bring them to my attention. It seems that quite a few viewers are seeing a second potential eel or fish in this report's above second image, left panel, 175% image. So I'm including a closer 250% view of that panel as below.

As I say, the additional object in primary observation by others is on the left side of the above addendum image. Note that I have subdued sunlight reflectivity and its glare so that better detail can stand out. Most see a second eel possibly on its back (belly up) with its also flat fluke like tail curved around toward the left edge of the image in shadow. Some also see this as a possible fish. Obviously this could also be a configuration of rocks and that is why I did not report it as an possible creature but I include closer views of it here for your inspection since so many have observed this.

Frankly I anticipated that I would hear more about the human or humanoid appearing upright face or mask at the left side of the eel's tail pointed out by the yellow arrow as it is actually more obvious. However, surprisingly, I'm hearing more about the eel/fish looking object and less on the face. A few also comment that the primary eel looking object is actually a tool or a handle broken off of something else and therefore equipment rather than life. Maybe but I Iean in favor of something previously alive and now dead. The hole openings in the nearby rocks covered with soil staining strongly indicate this creature's comings and goings.

There is also another object pointed out by a white arrow. It seems to have a smooth shiny surface that is suggestive of being of a partially translucent material sort of like alabaster. It might be a artificially worked vase, perhaps a shell for some creature worn smooth like this, or it may just be another natural rock. In any case, I thought I would point it out since it is in this closer view scene. You must decide for yourself whether any of these additional items have any merit or not.

This compilation includes many of my favorite NASA UFO encounters/sightings that I have archived over the years. All of these examples (with the exception of the second-to-last one) were captured on film by NASA astronauts or Russian Cosmonauts over the past half-century - showing many amazing examples from different eras - Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyuz Test Project, Skylab, STS, the ISS, plus a couple Russian-source additions from their unmanned Zond and Mir Space Station programs as well thrown in to round things out.

The second last example is the only one in the compilation that features footage that was not taken in space and is not official-source (NASA or Soviet/Russian Space Agency). That clip shows an LTP (Lunar Transient Phenomenon) event captured through a camera connected to the eyepiece of a terrestrial-based telescope that luckily was being focused on the Moon at the time. In this case, the LTP manifests as an object transiting across the face of the lunar disc. Many thanks to amateur astronomer Alberto Mayer of Italy for doing a wonderful job of filming this stunning event (and for stacking the footage for us all to see).

While the examples you will see here captured on film can all be "officially" classified as "unidentified" objects, that absolutely does NOT mean that NASA, the DoD, and certain elements within the scientific community worldwide are completely in the dark as to what these things you are seeing are. Make no mistake: The Powers That Be are indeed aware of far more about our mysterious Universe than they are ever willing to admit to us. We, the plebeian masses of this planet, are being held in a state of enforced ignorance, deemed not worthy of knowing the full truth by those who are REALLY "running the show" down here on Earth. As this video shows over and over again however, there are indeed snippets of that amazing truth that have been left scattered about the official government archives over the decades, there for us to find so we may begin to educate ourselves about what is the most monumental coverup in human history - where the only thing more incredible than the lies is the truth!

UFO Landing Trace = Cropcircle?

On April 26, 2004 Rense.com posted an intriguing report from Brian Vike (HBCC UFO Research) of a "close encounter of the third kind" which had occurred in a rural area of northern Poland 8 months previously (Vike's source: Tomek Wierszalowicz). Of great interest to me was the fact that the witness had discovered flattened areas of crop pressed into the field after the UFO departed—several circles arranged in a configuration which, from the photographs provided, looked exactly like what I would have called a crop circle. Could this be the first clear evidence of UFOs as the direct causative agent in the creation of at least some crop circles?

In October, 2006 I met with the eyewitness at a Conference in Warsaw where we were both speaking, and then spent another day with him on a road-trip to Zdany (where members of the Nautilus group and I were investigating another UFO incident). Translators provided at the Nautilus Conference were excellent, and subsequent intensive questioning by me of Mr. Chacinski and his friend Zbyszek Kalisiak (in-depth translations for this report carried out by Less Hodun) has revealed a number of corrections to the original report, as well as many addtional details.

I am convinced both of Mr. Chacinski's total honesty and his ability to accurately recount the details of this incident, and have therefore realized that crop circles— which I have always thought were not directly related to UFOs—sometimes are.

Following is a compilation of Brian Vike's original April 26, 2004 report (see: www.rense.com/general52/fsffee.htm), amended with the new details, photos and illustrations provided by Mr. Chacinski in mid-October, 2006 and in February, 2007. Lech Chacinski is a truck driver who lives in Wierzchowo, Poland with his wife and children. On the morning of August 11, 2003 he left for work at 4:20 am, but as he approached a bridge near Szczecinek he observed three figures (standing in a triangular configuration relative to one-another, one in front and the other two behind) on the road in front of him--the figure in front with his hand raised as if in greeting. As he brought his car to a stop, the trio walked toward him and he at first assumed they were men, dressed in uniforms similar to astronauts' space-suits. However, as they came closer to the driver's side window he realized there was something disturbingly "extraordinary" about them.

Feeling "almost frozen" as the "humanoid" at the apex of the triangular group (called the "leader" by Lech) reached the driver's-side door, Lech could see a darkened helmet with a visor of some "transparent" material, through which he saw two large (3cm diam) round black eyes--but no other facial details. As the full realization of what he was seeing overcame him, Chacinski wanted to drive away immediately--but a blinding "beam of light" shot out from a rectangular chamber on the top of the "leader's" helmet, and Chacinski lost consciousness. When he awakened moments later he felt "calm" and knew the "leader" was telling him telepathically that he didn't have to be scared. He heard the question "Do you hear us?" and mentally responded "yes," after which he was asked to get out of the vehicle, which he reluctantly did.

Lech describes these entities as being about the height of tall humans (approx. 170 cm tall) with a basic human form (2 arms, 2 legs, a torso and a head), wearing tight-fitting, seamless "overalls of a dull silvery, elastic foil" material. He states that these overalls seemed to be "pumped up from the inside" and were "integrated with their shoes and mittens." On their heads were "helmets" with some sort of a band around the forehead which had a light source in the center, and on the top of the helmet there was something that Lech thought was a communication device. He saw no insignia anywhere on their clothing, but on their chests were "colorful blinking [rectangular] boards" with "7 lights in each row," each light a different color. He cannot remember the combination of colors, but states that the lights were "falling down [in a sequence] one by one, like a fountain." They also had packs on their backs which looked like those worn by astronauts or cosmonauts.

During the approximately 15-minute encounter Lech telepathically perceived multiple questions posed to him by these beings: "What material is your vehicle made of?" "How does it work?" "What kind of fuel does it use?" Mr. Chacinski did his best to answer and noted that they expressed surprise upon hearing how his vehicle operated. They also indicated interest in his clothing, in particular his belt and shoes. [This detail is of great interest, in that beings encountered in another Poland contact case (to be presented in a separate report) also showed great interest in that witness's leather belt and shoes.]

The "leader" (who was the only communicator) then stated that they had come to deliver a message to the inhabitants of Earth, and Lech had the impression that he was being charged with the responsibility of spreading this message as widely as possible.

In essence the message was that we must "care" for ourselves and our planet, and that if we continue to disrespect the laws of Nature, the result will be catastrophic. Why this encounter, and this message—apparently regarding the environment--was delivered to Lech, he has no idea. Mr. Chacinski was apparently able to ask only one question of these beings, "Where do you come from?," to which they replied "Eight Galaxy." They also told him they would return, although with no details as to when, where, or for what purpose.

Truly awed by the ongoing encounter, Chacinski next watched as the three beings rose up about 3m into the air and "floated" across the field adjacent to the road to a very solid-looking "metal-like disc" about 300m away (which he had not noticed until this moment). Lech thinks the body of the UFO was about 50m wide (the "legs" being underneath the body of the craft), by about 20m tall. [His drawing ability does not equal a fully accurate representation of the UFO.] There were three rows of individually-colored "windows" across the upper half of the UFO and three sets of 5m long, girder-like legs, each set ending in two separate round feet which apparently stabilized the UFO on the uneven ground near the top of the hill. [Lech is not absolutely certain that these "feet" were actually touching the ground.] On the very top of the UFO was an opaque chamber and two "antennae." The beings landed close to the craft and then walked beneath it, at which point a beam of "very bright blue-white light" shot out from a round hole which opened up on the underside of the ship. This light "took the three beings up into the UFO" and the hole closed, after which a "colored smoke" (or fog) enveloped the craft. The UFO then "floated" over the ground for about 50m, stopped briefly (during which time the "smoke" dissipated), and then flew away at a 70° angle toward the SE, making an "ssssssss" sound.

Once the UFO had departed an imprint of multilple circles could be seen in the field, in which the plants were swirled and flattened--with smaller circles in the same areas relative to the "feet" Chacinski saw beneath the craft.

Andreas Muller has examined the two photos included in the original 4/26/04 report and has provided a "pseudo aerial" (a stretched version), which more clearly shows a thin, eccentric, ring around one of the smaller circles (Right, front) of the photo. He also thinks that this feature may be repeated around the smaller of the Left front set of circles, although this is not certain. And we can see only one circle in the set near the top of the hill.

Based on two newly-obtained photos, below (assuming the man in the center circle to be about 2m tall when standing upright), I measure the center circle to be about 22m (+/-) in diameter. If Mr. Chacinski's estimate of the size of the UFO is correct, the entire crop formation would have been underneath the UFO.

As Mr. Chacinski got back into his car after the UFO departed a man he knew pulled up next to him, asking if he needed help. Saying that "no," he was OK, Lech suddenly realized he had seen no other cars driving by during the entire incident and wondered if the humanoids had somehow caused this. He went on to work, where at first he said nothing about the incident to his colleagues. He did, however, call the police anonymously to report the imprint in the crop and then went home for awhile and told his wife about the experience. They discussed what he should do, in particular regarding the "message" he had received, and Lech reports that he did not want to "tell anything" about his morning's encounter. But that afternoon, back at work, he decided to notify the police again, this time identifying himself and describing the entire event. He then also told his colleagues and others, subsequently enduring ridicule and some "very bad times," with many people laughing at him and making fun of his report.

Lech returned to the crop imprint the following day with his two sons, his daugher and her husband, and walked into the large center circle. After a few minutes inside the circle he again experienced a moment "as bad as when he was blinded by the leader's beam of light," but this time he did not lose consciousness. And for the 3-4 months following his close encounter he noticed that he was unusually "tranquil" and uninterested in quarreling or raising his voice, a change noted also by his wife and friends.

So far as we know this is the first detailed eyewitness report of a "solid body" type UFO and "humanoid" beings being directly associated with the creation of a crop circle. Other eyewitness accounts of aerial light phenomena creating crop formations (see: www.bltresearch.com/eyewitness1.html and a combination of light and solid-looking "craft" creating one (see: www.bltresearch.com/eyewitness2.html) have been carefully investigated and reliably reported, and other anecdotal reports are surfacing with increasing regularity (see new report just in: www.kornkreise-forschung.de/textPoliceObservation.htm).

For me, having now met and spent considerable time with Lech and some of his friends, this witness's report resolves any doubt that a UFO was directly involved in the creation of this crop circle. It also now seems likely to me that UFOs—whatever they may actually be—have a closer association with crop circles generally than I had ever thought.

Does this mean that all crop circles are caused by UFOs? Most crop circle researchers I know don't think so. And if this, then, indicates that there are multiple causative agencies, well, it's beginning to look like any profound comprehension of this bizarre phenomenon may be even more elusive than we at first suspected.

Postscript….. In Less Hodun's final transcript to me regarding the Chacinski encounter, he included a question he had asked Lech a year or more previously, as well as Lech's answer. As they were sitting together in a café following a symposium in Police, Poland Mr. Hodun asked Lech if he had ever experienced any previous "unusual" situation.

Chacinski's answer was riveting. About two weeks prior to the Szczecinek encounter with the three "humanoids" and the UFO something strange had occurred in his own home. It was around midnight and Lech and his wife were watching TV. Lech's attention was drawn toward what looked like a point of light, about 3 cm in diameter, moving horizontally from left to right along the top edge of the wall near the ceiling. Lech said nothing, but as he watched the point of light he felt himself becoming mesmerized. All of a sudden the point of light dropped down to the height of his head and flew straight at him, going directly into his left eye.

He ran into the bathroom, washed his eyes vigorously with cold water, and then came back into the room. At this point he asked his wife if she had seen anything strange, but she had not (as told to Less Hodun).

Addendum, March 1, 2007: Dr. James Deardorff, now Professor Emeritus in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University, and a meticulous student of the intensely controversial Billy Meier "contactee" case in Switzerland, has informed me that Meier found similarly-swirled imprints in grasses in conjunction with some of his UFO/humanoid encounters during the 1970s. (See: www.tjresearch.info/BillyYes.htm - about 80% of the way down the page, Figs. 13, 14, 15). See also: www.ltjresearch.info/hasenbol.htm (about 60% down the page, click on "swirled patterns"). One photo (taken from the video "The Meier Chronicles," produced by Lee & Brit Elders) shows a set of 3 circles with counter-clockwise swirls (another set is at the extreme left of the photo) which Meier found after one contact incident. Second photo is a close-up, showing the swirling pattern more clearly.

I have no direct knowledge of the Billy Meier case and, thus, no informed opinion regarding it. But I do know that Dr. Deardorff is a professional, well-educated scientist who has published a considerable volume of work in mainstream peer-reviewed journals during his academic career. My knowledge of other serious scholars indicates that they generally utilize the same skills and training in their evaluation of any subject they study, and so I have to consider this information about the Meier case seriously.

The Kumburgaz UFO sighting in Turkey

The UFO’s, sighted at Kumburgaz, caused great shock waves around the world and were part of the written and visual media from China to Russia and Brazil to Switzerland and will go down in the World UFO literature as one of the most significant UFO sightings. Nearly a dozen of residents at the Yeni Kent compound witnessed these sightings filmed by the night watchman named Yalcın Yalman.
First of all, the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center
studied the footage in great detail for ten days, and as a result of the study the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center concluded that the UFO sightings were geniniue and not a hoax. On January 17, 2008 the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research held a press conference at the Dedeman Hotel flocked by the high number of attendees. The incident was announced to the public at this press conference and the aforementioned sightings were part of the news covered in both local and foreign media, TV, and newspapers as well as Internet portals. Following these developments some parties who appeared on various TV shows, starting with Prof. Adnan Öktem from the Istanbul University Department of Astronomy Sciences, Prof. Mehmet Emin Ozel from the18 March University Department of Physics and Prof. Kerem Doksat from the Istanbul University Department of Psychiatry claimed with great prejudice that the footages taken in Kumburgaz were a hoax made up by a mockup or computer animation without having conducted an analysis or any kind of study.

Upon these developments the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Center CEO Haktan Akdogan took part in a National TV show and stated live in front of the cameras, that he would give the film to Prof. Adnan Oktem who wanted to have the original film of the sightings in order to have it studied at a Scientific Institution owned by the state that is highly reliable and influential, called “TUBITAK” The Science and Technology Research Board of Turkey. Prof. Oktem stated that he wanted the film to be analyzed at TUBITAK’s National Observatory Center in Antalya this way the truth would be revealed. Afterwards both parties decided to go to TUBITAK’s National Observatory Center in Antalya, accompanied by the host of the aforementioned TV show and the TV cameramen. When they got there, Haktan Akdogan handed over the original film to Prof. Oktem, who submitted the film for analysis to the scientists on duty at TUBITAK.
TUBITAK, as a result of the thorough analysis it conducted it prepared an official report that stated: "The objects sighted in the aforementioned footage that have a structure that is made of specific material are definitely not made up by any kind of computer animation nor are they any form of special effects used for simulation in a studio or for a video effect therefore in conclusion it was decided that the sightings were neither a mockup or hoax. "
Furthermore in the last part of the report, it was concluded that these objects in the sightings that have physical and material structures do not belong in any category ( such as; planes, helicopters, meteors, Venus, Mars, satellites, fire balls, Chinese lantern… etc.) and but rather fall into the category of UFO’s (Unidentified Flying Objects )...
