My UFO encounter.

My name is James and I have always been a lover of science fiction since I was a child, Thanks in part to my father who would encourage me to read and watch Star trek,Star wars and Dr Who etc., as the only other option on rainy days was to watch the dribble of main stream TV in the early 1980's. However TV did get a whole lot better in 84 with the arrival of Knight rider, Airworf and V to mention a few.
But as good as my devotion was I knew that without seeing for myself first hand, UFOs were simply products of Hollywood and the imagination of farmers.

Then this all changed on the night of the 22nd August 2005 when I worked in Southampton in the UK next to Southampton International airport as a security officer. It was a beautiful clear and very warm night and I was just getting ready to start another patrol of my site when a delivery driver arrived at the main gate.
Once inside the gates the driver commented on a strange light that seemed to be following the nearby motorway (M27), as he described this light it appeared in the sky over towards Fords motor company, about 600 ft from where we were standing. As we watched the object crossed the motorway and moved silently over head then behind the my building. At this point the driver had unloaded his delivery of bread and drove of site, As soon as i had locked the main gates, I returned to my office and spun the CCTV camera's around towards the direction of the light. After a few seconds of searching i found the object.
Little did I realize that this was just one of eleven strange lights I was about to see that night.
