The MLC will open at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 8th, and will stay open on its regular 24/7 schedule.

The rest of the UGA Libraries will be open on their normal schedules.

MLC Hours & Inclement Weather

MLC 24/7 Schedule Resumes Jan. 5 @ 7 a.m.

The Miller Learning Center will return being open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting Jan. 5 at 7 a.m.

We do close for University holidays and have limited hours during spring break. Check our hours at mlc.uga.edu/about/hours.

MLC Intersession Hours & Holiday Closings

The MLC 24 hour schedule ends Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. (or the end of the last final). During the winter intersession, we will no longer be running out 24-hour schedule. These are our winter intersession hours:

Dec. 14 – 23

7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday (closed during weekend)

Dec. 24 – Jan. 2

CLOSED

January 3-4

7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

January 5

Spring classes begin. The MLC opens at 7 a.m., and the 24 hour schedule resumes.

MLC Tutoring Starts 8/18

Drop-in writing, organic chemistry, and physics tutoring begin August 18 for the fall semester. Tutoring services are provided by Department of Academic Enhancement.

Libraries opening at noon Saturday, January 23

The University of Georgia units normally open on weekends, including the UGA Libraries & the Miller Learning Center, will open at noon Saturday.

The Russell Special Collections Libraries will be open 1-5 pm Saturday as usual.

Libraries units outside of Athens & affected by inclement weather will announce their hours.

Libraries closing at 2:30, Friday, January 22

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the University of Georgia Athens campus, including all Libraries, will close early at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22.

An announcement will be made here when it is determined when we will re-open.

Libraries at UGA campuses around the state will make individual announcements regarding their inclement weather operations.

In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, the Miller Learning Center will close early at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 16. The building will reopen January 19 at 7 a.m. and resume its 24-hour schedule. See mlc.uga.edu/about/hours for building hours.
