Uglyography's two new guitarists, DJ Blake and Jack Morgan, are in full swing now and make the music sound better than ever! Kitchen Rock at YourMusicShow

For those of you who haven't heard, the local music radio program YourMusicShow, which is broadcast each Sunday online, is now featuring Hampton Roads bands and artists on their show almost every week. (DISCLAIMER: Matt from Uglyography helps out running sound/booking bands, and Al from Uglyography is a regular on the show with "Albert's Corner" which announces local showdates).

So anyways, the performance area on YourMusicShow is DJ's kitchen. Uglyography had the privelege to play in the kitchen early on in the "kitchen series" and here is a video of us performing the title track from the new album, "Undercover New Machine." Enjoy! My friend and co-worker Chris Jenkins recently created his first stop-motion animation short, and Uglyography was lucky enough to be picked to provide the soundtrack! "My Brain" provides the backdrop for ensuing madness with Gummy Bears, Hot Wheels, and, well ... brains! Great job Chris! We feel lucky to be a part of your art!

Joe from The Asthmatics plays "Rosemary Hey" (Acoustic)

At a recent party, as the hours waned into the night, acoustic guitars were inevitably picked up and all the songwriters in the room took swings at some of their masterpieces. The first clip I have from this party comes from Joe Atkinson, singer and guitarist for The Asthmatics. The song is an older one from the Atkinson collection but continues to sound fresh and new every listen (as do all Asthmatics tunes). FAILING at the Rubiks Cube

Yes, that's right, I failed at solving the rubiks cube in 3 minutes or less on YourMusicShow this past week but that didn't stop them from posting my 3:04 solve on youtube. FOUR SECONDS SHORT ... oh well, my claim a bit short. I like the way he says "FAILED" and then cuts off as the completed cube gets thrown off frame! So, here is the video they posted.
