On a Blackpool hen weekend why not try out the Pleasure Beach which features the world’s highest roller coaster, and located directly on the beachfront, or take the hen party to the top of Black Pool Tower a 518-foot replica of the Eiffel Tower for some outstanding views of Blackpool.

At this time of year, more than any other season people are busy and preoccupied worrying where they are going to sit Great Auntie Ethal for Christmas Dinner and what to buy for the computer nerd at work who they got stuck with in The Secret Santa. Is a wedding really going to be top on their list of priorities. IE) shop for wedding outfit or shop for kids Christmas presents. This also leads me to the next point regarding cost. Christams is the most expensive time of year and we all know that weddings are up there with the cost of a weekend away so put them both together and i think people would feel the strain.

I think one of the most enjoyable things for the bride and groom about planning their wedding is the whole fuss surrounding it and how it is an event that everyone is looking forward to and planning for. I would be concerned that the focus of all my guests would be on the mammouth task of organising their family Christmas, especially if they have young children.

Having considered all this i still believe the actual wedding would be truly magical, snow falling, mulled wine to drink, carol singers and what better present to receive on Christmas morning than everlasting happinesss with your one and truly.

If The Sealife Centre doesn’t take your fancy why not wander a little further down the prom to Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. Remember going there as a kid? This is probably the closest most of us are going to get to meeting the famous and the infamous from around the world. There are stars of stage and screen, soccer heroes in their own hall of fame and villains galore in the basement chamber of horrors where even the sign above the entrance is dripping in blood. There is bound to be one of your all time favourites hiding in there somewhere.

If all thsi sounds a little too sedate of course there is always the Pleasure Beach! A favourite of everbody offering new thrills on each visit. The Pleasure Beach is home to the tallest rollercoaster in Europe, The Big One. If you have never plucked up the courage to ride The Big One before maybe a hen party is the perfect time. Why not have a forfeit for whoever chickens out! Then there is the brand new ride Infusion. I have not had the opportunity to ride this yet but i cant wait for my next day out in Blackpool. I will definately be heading straight to The Pleasure Beach to try it out. and of course we cant forget the good old favourite Big Dipper, Avalanche, Grand National and The Revolution.
One last point, dont forget to pick up some crab sticks from the seafood stall near the entrance. They really are worth a try!

If The Pleasure beach didnt get that adrenaline pumping enough or maybe you just fancy something a little different you can always pop accross the road to The Sandcastle. White knuckle water chutes, swirling slides and the giant Typhoon Lagoon wave pool combine to offer a full day of fun amid a ‘tropical climate’ complete with palm trees. This tropical haven now features the fantastic “Caribbean Storm Treehouse”. This multi level interactive water play area includes the Whirlwind, Great White Whipper, Treetops triple family water chute and the Hydrostorm which every few minutes tips 600 gallons of water onto bathers below. In addition there are over 35 other fun interactive features including water cannons, magic jets and water blasters. So if you fancied the caribbean for your hen party but the budget wouldnt quite stretch that far, kick off those flip flops kick back and close your eyes, well maybe not but i am sure you will still have a lot of fun and it is guaranteed to get you in the mood for a wild night out!

One final suggestion! Take a stroll down Blackpool Promenade. Buy a kiss me quick hat and a stick of rock before venturing into Coral Island for a go on the donkey derby. Whatever you decide to do in Blackpool i am sure you will have a great time.

1. Hire a stretched limo, with the tinted windows and the sound system that would make you feel you’re in a nightclub. Champagne on tap and the play station 3 so that you and your mates can challenge each other at pro evo before the night begins.

2. Make sure there is a casino in walking distance this is great, after a few beers you become skint or loaded, it’s great fun.

3. Don’t stay in a dump of a B&B, there is nothing worse than coming home from an amazing night out and having to sleep in a flee pit. (you don’t want your pals to remember this over night itself.

Good Luck guys whichever way you decide to go remember you can look, but make sure that you don’t touch or the wedding of your dreams will come crashing down around you. Women always know!!!!!!

Majority of stag’s are heading to European destinations such as Barcelona, Prague, Ibiza etc, but I still don’t think that you can beat good old Blackpool. With the kiss me quick hats, the amount of pubs within walking distance and 6 lap dancing bars what else do you need.

Blackpool even can cater for the adrenaline junkies that might want to ride on the big one at pleasure beach, or the bungee swing on the pier.  Having your stag do in Blackpool really does make it easy for the best man, as always his job is to outdo the previous stag that the lads have been on. You might not admit it but secretly you know it’s true.

 The more outrageous and enjoyable the best man makes the stag do, he knows that he’s going to go down in history as a “living legend”.

The thing that we have got to remember is that thousands of people travels to the UK for their stag do, the UK has a reputation for being the best night live in the world and I would agree.

One of the most popular events on a stag do is paintballing, through experience as the stag you are in for a rough time, I was dressed in a fluorescent jacket and pants (i looked like a road digger working on the M6 at night). I will honestly say that after taking 10 paintballs to each foot and shots to my inner thighs, the drinks at the pub after was very much needed. 

Remember Guys this is the last night of freedom for the stag before he gets the ball and chain, it’s a must that you do all you can to make this a night to remember.  

Then we have the ‘cant get a boyfriend dance’. The same old get in the middle of the dancefloor and dance like a maniac who is having a 1000 watts of electricity pumped through them. Actually no that wasn’t a dare, that is just normal 3.a.m hen part behaviour.   Sing ‘like a virgin’ is another old favourite along with to shout at anyone that is within earshot ‘I am a horny bitch’ . Crude i know but i am sure we have all been there and laughed along.  Men in kilts also seem to be good hen night targets. In fact the hen nights i can recall not involving a man in a kilt are few and far between.

So does the new cult of ultra classy, new experience hen parties still involve such rauchaus immature behaviour.  I bloody hope so! I for one will be extremely disappointed to attend a hen night without the downing of vodka shots or being challenged to find a ginger man and prove that he is ginger all over antics!!

But hey girls if you cant beat them join them!! Lap dancing lessons, cheer leading classes, wine tasting, papmper days, recording studios, chocolate making, yacht chartering, burlesque dancing down to the absolute craziness of blindfold driving and deep sea fishing (WHY!) The most unique hen party I have ever been involved in has involved white water rafting, but hey i live in hope that i may one day get the chance to strut my stuff on that pole, or learn how to belly dance like a bolywood star. I must just rememver to leave my dignity in a carrier bag at the door!!
