Notice Regarding Laptop Circulation

Tuesday April 20th is the last day that library laptops will circulate due to Finals. Regular circulation will resume in mid-May.

Also, anyone planning on using ANY laptop for their final exams this semester must complete this simple form as early as possible. http://www.law.uky.edu/examregistry. The exam software from last year will not work. Please see the IT department if you need assistance registering your laptop.

Log Off of Your Computers!

As you may have noticed, computers in the law library now require an UK login. (Computers in the reference lobby remain open access.) Please remember to log off of the computers after you are done using them.

Reduced Hours in Observance of Martin Luther King Day

In observance of Martin Luther King Day, the Law Library will be operating under the following schedule:

Saturday Jan. 16
9:00am-6:00pm

Sunday Jan. 17
9:00am-9:00pm

Monday Jan. 18
9:00am-9:00pm

The law library will resume regular hours on Tuesday Jan. 19.

Law Library Computer Access Policy

Effective in early 2010 most public computers in the Law Library will require a UK Link Blue
account for access.

Public computers located in the Law Library Lobby
will not require log-in.
However the Law Library reserves the right to give computer use priority to those individuals
engaged in research.

Westlaw may have sent you an email or you may have seen a screen asking you to update your password "OnePass" for stronger security. For right now, when you try to log on to Westlaw, proceed with the "Remind Me Later Option."

If you are experienceing problems logging on or if you would like more information, please see a Librarian or a Westlaw student rep. The Westlaw student rep hours are posted by their service desk.

Attention Library Laptop Users!

The Law Library has made a few changes regarding the Laptops:

1) All power cords have a sticker and have been etched "Law-IT". This will help distinguish our power cords from yours.

2) In the next week, all power cords will be barcoded, so you will have to check out the laptop and the power cord. This will help us keep better track of the equipment.

As usual, laptops and power cords only circulate to law students.

The law library will be observing the following hours for the Labor Day Weekend:

The law school and the law library will be operating on a Monday schedule Tuesday Sept. 8.

Printing in the Law Library - Don't forget to add money to your card

Don't forget to add money to your student IDs so that you can print and make copies on campus. Printing in the Law Library is 12 cents per page. There are printers located on all three floors.
