X-Plane 10 is looking more and more promising

.....And that's coming from an a longtime MS Flight Sim fan.This is definitely worth looking into if you haven't already. I mean, check out the volumetric clouds as the 747 descends. FSX could never render clouds that actually cover the wings as you fly through them. This is very realistic in my opinion. Once more airport/landscape scenery is available and you can fly into your favourite airport with these kind of effects, there will be no stopping this sim. Please leave some comments. I am really interested to hear what you think.

X-Plane 10 is truly amazing when you crank up the graphics. It really is worth buying for the night lighting alone. If you're a flight sim fan then download the demo and give it a go. It is getting better and better with each update and as add-on scenery such as this becomes available.

I am using freeware building add-ons that enhance the Seattle skyline. I used no editing in this video. It is all stock footage apart from the inserted text at the beginning. Made with Fraps and Sony Vegas. 10.

My First Real Life Bush Flight Over the Cascades - Hair Raising Stuff!

This flight originated in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada close to the U.S. border and the North Cascades National Park. The route took us over Harrison Lake and up through Golden Ears National Park. Pretty hair rasing stuff flying so close to the mountain tops as you can see in the video! The light aircraft we were flying in was a Piper Cherokee and a pretty old one at that. Our pilot was very skilled though as you have to be flying around mountains. Mountain flying is extremely dangerous and there is a lot for a pilot to watch for and take into consideration.

I will be uploading a complete version of this flight in the near future if viewers show enough interest. There were a lot of pretty amazing lakes we flew over that aren't included in this clip and the landing was bumpy and awesome.

This video shows some clips from Just Planes latest release on Buffalo Airways C-46 and DC-4's which they operate in Northern Canada. What can I say? What these guys do on a daily basis is amazing. Check out at 6:40 in the video where they are at a small airstrip in and they have an engine failure and have to take-off with just 3 engines instead of 4 and fly back like that. My goodness! Enjoy.
