Monday 30th:

(TONIGHT): The Ultitude mens opens and Johburg Ladies opens team will have a practice and pickup game 18:30 @ Witz University, brozzolli A field, Warm-up, 100 throws, drills, etc. ~19:00 game on!!
PLEASE NOTE: THAT ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME PLAY TONIGHT EVEN IF YOU AREN’T ON THE NATIONALS TEAMS!! :D

Wed 2nd:

Pickup! (woooo hooo!)
18:45 @ Pirates. 18:45, Warm-up, 100 throws, drills, etc. ~19:30 pick-up game. All/New players most welcome.

Sat 5th:

Unfortunately practice will be cancelled this Saturday due to most of the players going to the Durban opens tournament.. However we’ll be back at it next weekend!!! ;)

Wed 18th (TONIGHT): 18:45 @ Pirates. 18:45, Warm-up, 100 throws, drills, etc. ~19:30 pick-up game. All/New players most welcome.

Note, rugby practice usually clears out at about 19:30 in winter (please be respectful as technically they’ve booked fields up till 20:00 and have first right of way, but are usually done earlier than that).

Sat 21st:
Sat Morning: Nationals Ladies Team Practice (Tina/Olive will communicate/confirm details with you)
Sat Afternoon: 15:00 @ Pirates (TBC): Pick-up game. All/New players most welcome. (Pirates should have a field free, if not, the nearby Verity Park is plan B.)

Sun 22nd: Nationals Practice Game – Ultitude Open v Zone Rangers, 15:00 @ Zoo Lake (TBC): Pencil this in – it’s just like this past Monday, but now on Sunday. Venue will probably be Zoo Lake (plan A). Else Pirates (plan B). We’ll update the nationals opens team when fully confirmed.

Mon 23rd: Nationals Practice Game – Ultitude Open v Wits, 18:15 @ Wits (TBC): We hope to take on Wits in a practice game this coming Monday. We’ll update the nationals opens team when fully confirmed. There may also be other happenings like pick-up/ladies training, etc, and we’ll update on this too.

Welcome to the new committee!

In recent years, Ultitude has it’s AGM (Annual General Members) meeting after the Mixed Nationals tournament (April/May) and a new committee gets voted in. Thanks to all who attended the AGM last Saturday (14th June), as well as a big thanks for all the beers Dave Goodman (we’ll miss ya)!

Good morning, a quick update on this week is below, but first, some big news…

Dave’s Farewell and AGM

As most of you know, “Dave 2” is leaving us and so we were planning to have a farewell for him after the game on Saturday. Game will start at 3PM and then we will meet up at the clubhouse for a quick AGM followed by a braai and drinks.

Dear Dave has graciously donated the refund for half of his yearly club fee to grab some drinks, so there’ll be some free beer, etc ;-)

The quick AGM is where you get to have your say and vote for the next committee. Even if you can’t make the game, do join us for the farewell/AGM afterward.

This season’s league draws to a close…
Zone Rangers and Moxie playing a Final
Second field open to Coffee (and other Ultitude players) to play with Wits. New players also welcome.

Wed 11th: 19:15 @ Pirates.

Warm-up 19:15, drills 19:30, and scrimmage/pick-up 20:00.
New players still most welcome.
High school rugby practice starts tonight and uses both fields till 20:00. Warm up/drills on the sides of the fields till 20:00.

Sat 14th: 15:00 @ Pirates. NB! AGM (Annual General Meeting) and Dave Goodman’s farewell.

Sun 15th: 15:00 @ TBC (probably Pirates or Zoo Lake): Ultitude Open Nationals Team practise game v Zone Rangers.
