Love Your Drums Tribute Snare

2012-04-09T12:53:00.002-05:00

This purple sparkle tribute snare is a collaboration with Jimmy Poplin of Lady Luck Drums, NC. The drum commemorates the life and work of Dennis Stauffer, whose boutique drum company Stauffer Percussion was an inspiration to UltraPhonic and many many others.

Dennis was killed in an automobile accident in January 2012.

In recognition of his impact and contribution, the Ghostnote community of drum builders created the Love Your Drums Fundraiser, which will raise money to help the Stauffer family during this time. The drum pictured below is one of dozens of drums that will be raffled on May 20 at the 2012 Chicago Custom and Vintage Drum Show.
