{ RAINBOW }

2012-07-07T18:00:00.003-07:00

I wish that I could challenge myself to add more colors to my life and stop being so practical with my shopping.

It´s just that I keep changing things around me as I get easily tired of my stuff so my bank account screams if I´m to daring. Frustrating!

At least I can watch beautiful pictures of homes like this to fulfill the rainbow in my head.

{ MY FUZZY LITTLE PRECIOUS }

2012-07-06T15:42:00.000-07:00

It´s my birthday today and my lovely husband just got me this charming little Icelandic, wool foot-stool or tiny chair.

Fuzzy is nice, soft and comfortable with long hair and stubby screw-on-legs, created by Sigurdur Mar Helgason in 1972 and is now a very popular "home goods" and a local gift.

It definitely brings warmth and joy into a home, I can guarantee that :)

I love these adorable handmade crochet dolls by Ooshki in Toronto.

What a perfect doudou for a little heart to carry around.

The dolls are made to order by Elena, a Russian born graphic designer. "Ooshki" means little ears in Russian.

SO CUTE!

"The "second" series challenges the rules surrounding modern day consumer items, designed by Jason Miller for Areaware. Do decorations always need to be centered? Is a whole bird better than a half? These elegant "mistakes" are artfully and carefully applied."

I don't know about you but at least I would love to dine on these wonderful plates.

{ STACKABLE WONDER }

These wonderful " Tree" stacking drawers are by the japanese company, Landscape products, designed for children and features six drawers that can be broken into three smaller dressers.

The good stuff is that you can as-well buy them individually to keep up with your child growth, not bad!

I love the white ash used in the design and the beautiful color combination.

{ CLEAN LINES }

This beautiful 2 storey apartment is in Amsterdam, Holland.
I would literally die for an apartment like this, clean lines, wonderful wood that warms the limited colour palette and the perfect " easy to clean" flooring.
Check out the wonderful Tom Dixon pendants above the dining table, they are inspired by the water carrying vessels that are carried on heads all over India. You can buy them online at Hauslondon.

You don´t need to feed them or hold them.

Just sit down and watch your "almost alive" animals in your home.

Pretty cute home zoo, that will probably melt some tiny hearts.

Check out Kekamsterdam for more info on these wallstickers.

WOW!! What a daring wallpaper by Colombia born Catalina Estrada.

She is inspired of Latin-American folklore and refines it with subtle touch of European sophistication.

This design got my biggest WOW factor!
