It has been a while since I blogged about anything really. So I thought why not start one by sharing my recent makes. After four long years of studying, I have had almost no time to sew anything for my 'new' body. When I say 'new body' I mean, my completely ruined body after two children. 

From having 6 packs, I now have a bulgy tummy (diastasis recti) even though I have tried several different types of exercises to help strengthen the muscles. I do get questions about whether I am pregnant again. As much as I wish I was, I am not. It's just that the muscles in my tummy have forgotten to get back together. Seeking an expert advice is the next step.

Having said that, being the Fashionista that I am and having finished my BA in Fashion Design, my current plans are to create my own wardrobe that compliments my 'new' body. So here is a dress I recently made. The fabric print is from my own artwork. 


This dress style and cut suits most body shapes. It has certainly taken the eye away from the problematic areas. In my case the tummy. Very glad with the end results and believe it or not, I have had requests by other moms to custom make a similar dress for them. 

All in all this, design worked. I have another garment that was inspired by this dress to show you in the next blog post.

It has been a long time since I have been in this space. As some of you know I have been very busy with my final year in fashion school. I have graduated with a Bachelor degree in Fashion design. Here is another tutorial showing you how I colour correct pigmented parts of my face. Hyper pigmentation is a common issue with many coloured women. This results in ashy looking makeup if the pigmentation is not fixed. So in this video I show you a very easy way to create a flawless face with minimum product.

Getting back to blogging and video making. It's almost impossible to do what I enjoy doing with young kids. That's motherhood I suppose. Anyway here is a swatch video on the L.A Girls Glazed Lip Paint  that I recorded months ago and finally got to edit and post on my Youtube channel (Link HERE). These above mentioned are the 18 Glazed Lip Paints that L.A Girl carry. I liked all of them except for the two which I have indicated with an asterisk *. They wore comfortably on my lips without feeling sticky. They did last for about 4 hours without a need for touchup however I did not eat nor drink during this time. They are pigmented but do not compare with OCC lip tars as other bloggers claim. They did bleed over my lips when I wore them without a lip liner. For the price point, I feel it was worth getting all of them as I love changing my lip colour on a daily basis. My two favourites are Coy and Pin up. Hope you find this review useful. Guess who is back! Yay, it's me! I was pregnant and gave birth on the 26 January to my love son Michael. Born at 9:38pm, weighing 3.5kg at Union Hospital Hong Kong. Had a great OB Dr Chueng Kai Bun who was very professional in the whole delivery process. Could not have ask for more as everything went very smoothly.

Another tutorial up on Youtube. This time it is Bollywood or Indian makeup inspired! Let me know if you have any other looks in mind that you would like me to recreate!

Yes, I know! Been under the radar for a while. Life has been very good and busy for me! Now that I have more time, thought of doing a makeup tutorial since I have been always asked to do one!
