AC Milan and Fiorentina’s duel for Serie A’s final Champions League place, and a Udinese-Lazio battle for Europa League qualification will bring the curtain down on the Italian season this weekend.

With Juventus having wrapped up their 29th league title two weeks ago, and Napoli securing the second automatic qualifying place for the Champions League, the focus falls firmly on qualifying for Europe.

Milan, crowned European champions seven times, currently sit in third place – nine points behind runners-up Napoli – with a two-point lead over Fiorentina.

The pair’s battle to finish in third has taken a dramatic turn of late, with Fiorentina openly scoffing Milan’s decision to present their new, gold-coloured shirt for next season, complete with an embroidered Champions League logo, on their official website.

Fans of the Milan giants would say they have every right to feel confident of a top-three finish as they host a Siena side which, along with Palermo and Pescara, have already been relegated.

Fiorentina have an equally manageable fixture – at least on paper –away to Pescara and coach Vincenzo Montella refuses to give up his dream of leading La Viola into the competition for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.

“I believed when we were six points adrift, so we believe even more now,” Montella said.

Montella’s side have deservedly won praise this season, putting the likes of Montenegrin striker Stevan Jovetic and Serbian midfielder Adem Ljajic on the wish-list of some of Europe’s top clubs.

And the 37-year-old coach admitted he would go to extremes if Siena managed to pull off what would probably go down as the upset of the season – stopping Milan from finishing in third.

“I’d learn the Siena club anthem off by heart if they stopped Milan!” he added.

Any hint that Pescara may give Fiorentina a helping hand was kicked into touch earlier this week when the club’s president, Daniele Sebastiani, said they will not roll over.

“We beat Fiorentina earlier in the season,” Sebastiani told Radio Blu. “On Sunday we will honour the championship.”

With a four-point lead on Udinese, Fiorentina have already secured one of two automatic places for next season’s Europa League.

Udinese, on the other hand, will be hard pushed to hold on to fifth place. The northerners have a two-point lead on Lazio and face a wounded Inter Milan at the San

Siro in one of seven games to be broadcast in Sunday’s late slot.

Udinese’s solid form in recent months has come in large part down to the goalscoring of veteran striker Antonio Di Natale, who sits second behind Napoli’s Edinson Cavani (28) in Serie A’s scoring charts with 22 goals.

However Di Natale remains a doubt after suffering a calf injury in a 2-1 win over Atalanta, Udinese’s seventh consecutively, last week.

Inter are also desperate to finish what has been an injury-plagued but ultimately woeful season on a high by giving their suffering fans what would be only a 17th win of the campaign.

With Inter out of Europe and set for a finish just above mid-table, Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic told the club’s website, inter.it: “This year we played badly, but next year will be our year.

“Having so many injuries played a part in our missing out on Europe, but I hope next year will be better, that new players will come and that we can build an even stronger team.”

In the event of defeat for Udinese, Lazio would leapfrog them into fifth if they take all three points from their trip to Cagliari.

If Lazio fail to finish in fifth place, their hopes of a Europa League appearance will hinge on beating city rivals Roma to Italian Cup victory on May 26 at the Olympic Stadium.

Juventus, meanwhile, visit Sampdoria in Saturday’s only game looking to finish on a total of 90 points.

The champions hoped last week for the three points that would have kept them on track to beat the record points tally set by them in 2006, a title of which they were later stripped for involvement in match-fixing, while Fabio Capello was coach.

However, while Juve have missed that opportunity, their fans will be buoyed at reports which suggest talks between Antonio Conte and the club, over the coach’s future in
Turin, have gone smoothly.

With Champions League qualification the only major issue still to be decided, focus on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday will fall on the characters bidding goodbye to English football.

It is certain to be a momentous day at The Hawthorns, where Alex Ferguson will bow out after a record-breaking 26-year spell as Manchester United manager, while veteran midfielder Paul Scholes is also expected to play his final game for the club.

Ferguson heralded the end of an era when he announced his retirement last week and was given a rapturous send-off at Old Trafford last Sunday when United beat Swansea City 2-1 in his final home game.

Sunday’s trip to West Bromwich Albion will be Ferguson’s 1 500th match as United manager, but the 71-year-old Scot has warned his players not to be distracted by the emotion of the occasion.

Speaking at the club’s end-of-season awards party, he said: “We need to win the game on Sunday. We won the last home game and I don’t want to lose my last game, that’s for sure.”

United received the Premier League trophy after beating Swansea and with West Brom already certain to finish no lower than ninth, there is little riding on the match, but Ferguson’s opposite number, Steve Clarke, wants his side to end the campaign with a flourish.

“We’re not there for a party on Sunday,” he said.

“Our party will be with our supporters at the end of the game when the players get the chance to thank the fans and the fans get the chance to thank the players for the season.

That’s the only party we’re interested in and we’ll do what we can to finish on a high.”

Ferguson’s successor-in-waiting, David Moyes, will end his 11-year association with

Everton at Chelsea, who on Wednesday claimed a last-gasp 2-1 victory over Benfica in

the final of the Europa League.

Moyes, who will take over from Ferguson on a six-year contract on July 1, said farewell to Goodison Park after last weekend’s 2-0 defeat of West Ham United and he has thanked the club’s fans for their reaction.

“There are very few managers who have the opportunity to be cheered off in your last game as manager,” he told students at Cambridge University during a speech earlier this week.

“I have to thank everybody at Everton and the supporters for that – it showed real class. The atmosphere was incredible. I didn’t expect it.

“I have one more game to go. If we win then it will be our highest points total during my time there. Who knows? I may be back one day.”

The trip to Stamford Bridge will also mark Everton captain Phil Neville’s last game for the club, while another United old boy, Michael Owen, will hope to feature in Stoke City’s game at Southampton after announcing that he, too, will retire at the end of the season.

Liverpool’s fans, meanwhile, are preparing to say goodbye to long-serving defender Jamie Carragher, who is set to make his 737th and final appearance at home to Queens Park Rangers before taking up a position as a television pundit next season.

The 35-year-old said his recent run in the side had merely reinforced his belief that he was hanging up his boots at the right time.

“It’s made me go the other way, to be honest. It’s made me think it is the right time,” he said.

“It’s nice that I’m in the side and people are saying I’m doing well and why not stay for another year? It’s better than them saying you should have gone a year ago.”

Tottenham Hotspur hope to pip Arsenal to the fourth and final Champions League place, but to do that they must win at home to Sunderland and hope their north London rivals lose at Newcastle United.

Wigan Athletic’s relegation on Tuesday ended the suspense in the battle to avoid demotion to the Championship, but all the clubs have a financial incentive to finish the season as high up the table as possible due to the incremental allocation of end-of-season prize money.

David Beckham is set to steal many of the headlines in Ligue 1 this weekend as he prepares to make the penultimate appearance of his glittering career for Paris Saint-Germain, while elsewhere the battle for France’s final Champions League qualifying berth intensifies.

After wrapping up the Ligue 1 title with victory at Lyon last weekend, PSG return to the Parc des Princes to face Brest.

The game itself is a dead rubber as, while PSG are already champions, Brest are already certain to be relegated. But the focus will be on Beckham, and on the atmosphere at the Parc des Princes after the capital club’s trophy presentation in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower on Monday was ruined by violence.

PSG will get another chance to celebrate with their fans on Saturday, and Beckham – who has only made one start and eight substitute appearances in France’s top flight since arriving in January – will surely be given the chance to wave goodbye to the club’s fans before his final appearance at Lorient on Sunday, May 26.

“Saturday, for his last game at the Parc des Princes, we count on all of you to show your joy for having seen him in Paris under the colours of Paris Saint-Germain as well as to celebrate the entire team for its fantastic victory in French Ligue 1,” was the message of club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after hearing of Beckham’s decision to retire, although he added that PSG are hopeful of continuing to work with the Englishman in some capacity in the future.

Elsewhere, Marseille are guaranteed to finish second and will go straight into next season’s Champions League group stage, but the battle for third place, which carries the reward of a spot in the third qualifying round of Europe’s leading club competition, is still alive.

Lyon currently sit third, and are three points clear of both Lille and Nice and four points clear of Saint-Etienne coming into the final two games.

However, OL must travel to the Cote d’Azur this weekend to face Nice while Lille travel to Montpellier and Saint-Etienne entertain Marseille.

“The best thing for us is to try and win both of our remaining matches and get the points we need as quickly as possible,” said Lyon coach Remi Garde. “But a draw would not be a bad result.”

Saint-Etienne have enjoyed a magnificent campaign, capped by their victory in the League Cup final last month, but they appear to be running out of legs as the finish line approaches.

Les Verts lost 3-1 at Lorient last weekend to end a 16-match unbeaten run in the league and must beat in-form Marseille at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard and hope Lyon slip-up.

“The defeat at Lorient has had an impact on people at the club, but we can’t throw it all away yet,” Saint-Etienne captain Loic Perrin told L’Equipe on Thursday.

“We are just not getting the breaks at the moment but we are creating chances, which is a good sign.”

Lille, who entertain Saint-Etienne on the final day, appear in the best condition to profit from any Lyon slip-up.

Only PSG have collected more points than Rudi Garcia’s side since the start of February and no team has scored more goals in that time. And a Montpellier side who have been in free fall for the last two months could be the perfect opponents.

At the bottom, six clubs are fighting to avoid the final two relegation berths.

Nancy, who entertain Bastia, and Troyes, who host Bordeaux just four days after losing 2-1 at home to the same team in the French Cup semifinals, currently sit in the drop zone.

However, French Cup finalists Evian, Reims, Ajaccio and Sochaux could all still be dragged back into trouble.

Defending champions face a hilly task against AS KIgali at Kicukiro turf while on Sunday AS Muhanga will play away to Bugesera in the first leg of the semi finals.

APR German coach Andreas Spiers said on Friday, “We are totally focused on Saturday’s crucial game. We have to win the Peace Cup title this year,”

“We lost the mid week Primus league tie against La Jeunesse and this was a disappointment but we have since moved from this depression,” said Spiers.

Spiers added that they will respect AS Kigali but their mission will be to find the net and score with a big margin ahead of the second leg.

AS Kigali coach Andrew Gasambungo said in a statement, “The mission is quite well-win the game with a bigger margin and and eliminate APR FC to reach the final,”

After knocking out giants Rayon Sports in the last sixteen round and Vision FC in the last eight, Bugesera FC are also focusing on seeing off Muhanga FC in the semifinal of this year’s Peace Cup against Malaria.

Still recovering from the disappointment of missing out promotion to the Primus national league on the expense of Gicumbi FC last weekend, Bugesera want to make up with a place in the final of the knockout competition.

The Eastern Province second division side take on top flight opponents Muhanga on Sunday in the first leg at Kicukiro artificial turf.

Bugesera’s failure to gain promotion cost coach Camalade Banamwana his job and his assistant coach Fidele Hakizimana was appointed to replace him. Hakizimana said, “We know it is not going to be easy but we are ready and determined to make it to the final.”

“We are still feeling depressed because we didn’t manage to qualify for next season’s Primus national league but this is football, these things happen. We shall try again next year,” he stated. About Sunday’s game, he said, “This is a good chance for us.

Muhanga also have a busy schedule which will make it hard for them to prepare well four the tie.

Both teams have some similarities in their recent performances where Muhanga were beaten mercilessly 6-1 by Rayon Sports and Bugesera lost 1-2 to Gicumbi at their home ground in the second division semifinal second leg. In the other semi-final AS Kigali will take on holders APR on Saturday at Kigali de Kigali, Nyamirambo.

Led by 28 points from league scoring champion Carmelo Anthony, the desperate Knicks played with determination on defense to narrow the deficit to 3-2 in their best-of-seven series, which resumes on Saturday.

The San Antonio Spurs advanced to the Western Conference finals after closing out the Golden State Warriors 94-82 in Game Six of their semi-final series on Thursday.

Led by Tim Duncan’s 19 points, the second-seeded Spurs claimed victory on the road in Oakland to seal a 4-2 triumph in the best-of-seven series and set up a showdown against the fifth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies.

Mu bagabo imikino yarangiye ikipe ya GICUMBI Hand Ball Team itsinze  ikipe ya ES kigoma ibitego 25 kuri 20 ku mukino wa nyuma w’amajonjora, yabaye ekipe zikina hagati yazo.

Mu gihe mu bakobwa ikipe ya ES MUKINGI yatahanye igikombe itsinze ikipe ya Golilla yo mu mujyi wa Kigali ku bitego 14 kuri 13.

Iyi mikino yabaye mu rwego rwo kwizihiza umunsi w’umurimo aho yari yitabiriwe na Perezida wa Fedelation y’umukino wa Handball mu Rwanda UTABARUTSE Theogene.

Perezida wa Fedelation y’umukino wa hand ball mu Rwanda akaba yashimiye ubuyobozi bw’akarere ka Gicumbi uburyo buteza imbere siporo cyane cyane umukino wa Handball nk’uko  bigaragara mu musaruro ikipe y’akarere ka Gicumbi itanga.

Umuyobozi w’akarere ka Gicumbi akaba nawe yagaragaje ko bazakomeza gufasha ikipe mu bishoboka kugirango ikomeze kwitwara neza itwara ibikombe  ndetse ikomeze ibe ku isonga mu yandi ma kipe  yo mu gihugu kugeza n’aho izajya ihagararira u Rwanda.

Ibi yabitangaje nyuma y’aho ekipe y’akarere ka Gicumbi itwaye  igikombe cy’umunsi w’intwari muri uyu mwaka aho yabonye tike  yo kuzitabira imikono izabera muri Tunisia mu mpera z’uyu mwaka.

Uwo mukino wabaye tariki ya 01/05/2013, wahuje amakipe abiri, Foyer na Inférieur, y’abakozi bo muri New Bugarama Mining. Warangiye ikipe ya Inférieur itsinze ibitego 3 kuri 2 bya Foyer.

Uwarebaga uwo mukino yabonaga ko abo bakinnyi batamenyereye gukina umupira w’amaguru kuko akazi bakora, ko gucukura amabuye y’agaciro, katatuma babona umwanya wo kwitoza gukina umupira w’amaguru.

New Bugarama Mining ikoresha abakozi bagera ku 1500. Muri iyo mine hacukurwa amabuye y’agaciro yitwa Wolfram. Ikiro kimwe cy’ayo mabuye y’agaciro kigura amafaranga y’u Rwanda 4200.
