Sick For Days

I've been sick for days now. The little girl got it first on Saturday. Her temperature went up to 103.5 F. Then, it only lasted for a day. We gave her a lukewarm bath. Then Sunday morning, I started having a back pain, sore throat and my temperature went up to 102.7F. The pain was unbearable so I took Tylenol. I'm still coughing right now. Today, the little boy got the same bug! His temperature went up to 104F. Oh my goodness, I panicked. He mustered a lot of words that I don't even recognized. He's delirious or something. It's scary! We gave him a lukewarm bath and fortunately, his fever went down to 100.2F. It's still high but it's better than 104F.

My family and I just moved to Fort Collins, and I am really worried that I made the wrong decision in moving the kids. They are really having a tough time adjusting and I am feeling more and more guilty every day. They don’t like school very much, and my youngest is even getting bullied by some of the older kids. My oldest misses her friends a lot and has started to rebel against her father and I. I feel terrible that they don’t like it here, but so far my new job has been great. I made friends with one of our neighbors when we moved out here so I’ve been confiding in her and asking for advice. It’s a little too late for us to move back to our old town, and I don’t know how to solve these problems. I like to give my dog lots of creature comforts too. He's a member of our family and I like to make sure that he's included on lots of things. One thing that I want to make sure that he has is a comfy place to sleep that isn't our bed. I've been letting him use an old pillow and it's looking really bad as of late because he's been chewing on it so much. So I decided that I would make him his own little dog bed.

I took a good look at all of the leftover bedding stuff that we have in our linen closet to maybe incorporate into the DIY dog bed. An easy room makeover with some new carpet

I've been putting off doing anything about our spare bedroom for a really long time. We just haven't had anyone visit us in our new house, but now I feel that I can't put it off for any longer. So we're going to go ahead and start renovating it as a little fun side project.

But I'm trying to make sure that I don't end up paying more for anything in the end. While I was online looking up some stuff earlier, i ran across the site Home Pro Improvement. After I looked through it a little bit I decided to go through them to get my new carpeting.

Thank goodness there's no ugly wall paper in there. I'm just using the bedding and decor that I just replaced in our master bedroom for our guest bedroom's easy room makeover. I can't wait for all of the decorating to be finished so that my loved ones can visit and enjoy it!
