Additionally, so that I can judge registrations for next season, could you all advise me whether your child will continue next season. The committee at the club expects each team to participate by setting up a stall or activity to help raise funds for the club. The activity I have put forward for our team is ‘guess the number’. I will put loads of sweets in a jar and will ask people at the Fun Day to guess how many are in it. I will also pay for a prize to give for the person who is closest to the number in the jar. If you have other suggestions for a stall or activity on the day that you could facilitate and help raise even mote then we are still open to more suggestions.

What I do need for the activity already identified is help from members of the team, as I cannot do all of this alone. I need boys and parents to volunteer their time for the benefit of our team to help on the 19th from 11am to 4pm to go round asking people at the Fun Day ” Guess How many Sweets in the Jar “?. Money will need to be taken and names and numbers taken down. Myself, Emma and Owen will be there but we do need the team to support this event too. Please can you confirm to me this weekend whether a) you would be able to help support and promote our team at the event and b) the likely time you will be at the event.

The youth teams will benefit from the money raised and, ultimately, it should be a real fun day too with lots of activities, you can even soak me in the stocks. We look forward to your help and support.
