Once the weather breaks I can not wait to get my hands in the dirt. While I'm inspired and intrigued by any living plant I can tuck in and around our garden - I am always looking for simple ways to incorporate them elsewhere outdoors. Today I'm working on our deck and put together this succulent wall planter to bring some green life to the space.
Garden succulents are one of my favorite perennials and while there are a few that are finicky - there are many that are reliable and very easy to care for. Don't let their intricate beauty fool you - anyone can maintain and showcase a wall full of these beauties with minimal effort. The hardest part is building the wall planter - though, that in itself is fairly basic as well. I've included lots of photos and details below to walk you through the process - so you'll be ready to plant in no time.

Happy Friday my friends. I long for sunny warm weekends in the spring and the next couple days are looking pretty good. I may even attempt to start freshening up the deck tomorrow. The past couple of weeks we have been working on getting the garden beds together and in honor of Earth Day we decided to add two red oak trees to the yard.

Hello my friends. I hope everyone is having a fabulous week thus far. This time of year I long for the weekends so we can back to working full time on our long list of outdoor to-do's. Just one more day to go. Browsing through the party links I can see many of you have been quite busy with your own creative projects. The pops of colors are so refreshing for spring - hope you are as inspired as I am...

While we have been enjoying our new Keurig OfficePro for hot brewed beverages – as the weather gets warmer, we like to take our coffee and turn it into a nice cold icy dessert. This frozen coffee granita recipe is one of our favorites and incredibly easy to put together.

I had completely given up trying to brewing coffee at home, until we discovered Keurig a little over a month ago. Yes, I know we are little late to the game - but now I totally understand the hype my mom and sister, both, have award this machine the past couple of years. See, I like my hazelnut and vanilla concoctions and Butch, well ... not so much. This new Keurig OfficePro Premier allows us both to brew our own cup of coffee - exactly how we both like it - in just minutes. No waiting, no cleaning, and most importantly no traces of unwanted flavors.

Bananas are always hit or miss around here. I can buy them and they can be gone in a few days - while other times they just sit. When they sit and actually start to turn brown this banana muffin recipe sure does come in handy - as the riper the bananas, the more flavorful these little mini muffins can be. Not sure if it is the touch of vanilla or the baked on cinnamon & sugar topping - but this recipe always makes those bananas seem a bit more appealing.

The post Banana Muffin Recipe | Perfect way to use up ripened bananas appeared first on bystephanielynn.
