Day 32 - 2xist Blue Neon Sports Briefs

I can't believe I'm through a month already and have started another one without repeating a pair of underwear once. I am impressed, and have added more to the collection in this month too. I am a little afraid though of what the final count is going to be. Most normal/average guys might make it through a month without wearing the same pair of undies twice...but would most normal guys be able to go for over a year? That's how long it took last time. Is that normal? How long could you go?

Today I opened the drawer and these were near the top and I really do toally enjoy the colour on these. The blue is so bright - guess that's why it's part of the neon line - and I love the pops of yellow in them. They have an amazing fit - which is true of most 2xist underwear. I think I have this line in a few colours.

Day 31 - Purple Super Low Rise Timoteo Briefs

It's been a month already! I've been doing the challenge for a month. I've not worn any pair twice, and I'm not planning on it until I've worn them all once. Stay tuned...it's going to be a long, long, long ride! So, I've taken a picture a day - sometimes more than one. Sometimes video. Sometimes they all go on the blog, sometimes they don't. Sometimes there's shots that go on my tumblr, but not on the blog. What should I do with all the pics? I've kept them all. Should I make a CD at the end of every month and auction them off? Should I just hold onto them until I've made a year? Would anyone want them? I'm open to suggestion.

I wanted a colour today that I hadn't yet worn this month. After 31 days, you'd think that would be more of a challenge - but I apparently wear a TON of blue. Anyway - I'm wearing a colour (purple) and a brand (Timoteo) that I haven't yet worn in this challenge. That's exciting. These are the Timoteo Super Low Rise briefs. They are super comfortable, and they definitely hug and conform to everything so well. I would suggest/recommend though that if you are going to order them (in any of their fun colours) go a size up from what you would normally wear. Because they are super low rise that one size up can make all the difference between crushing the boys and making everything wear well! Just a helpful tip.

Day 30 - Blue Tulio Briefs

Sometimes I wonder if we, as a society, have been coddled too much. When did it become okay to just placate and coddle everyone instead of pointing out the obvious and correcting things that need to be corrected? It's not mean if it's true. You've been a dickhead to me has become, I'm concerned about your attitude toward me. You have too much stuff, and can't possibly keep all of it has become, think about this, do you really need it and where will you put it. When did it become unacceptable to say stop being a dick and throw shit away? Those are just examples, but you get where I'm going.

I wanted a nice brief with a pouch today. I love tucking the pouch into my jeans and seeing what it does for the bulge and how it shows things off! =) I have a few pair of undies from Tulio and they never disappoint. These have to be my least favourite of all of them though. Unlike the others which are super light weight and thin, these are a bit thicker and while they're comfortable and do great things for my package, I like the material of the others better. Don't get me wrong...still really enjoy these.

Day 29 - Blue Evolve by 2xist Briefs

Some days you just want the basics. You want to be comfortable and not have to worry about too much. You want to know that everything is going to stay in place and fits well, and that you won't have to worry about anything, but you don't want any flash or bling. You just want to go for comfort - but you definitely don't want tighty whiteys.

I was having one of those days. I knew that I wanted something simple and comfortable. I knew that I wouldn't be doing too much - so they didn't have to be flashy or to entertain anyone. I just wanted comfort today, so when I pulled the drawer open this morning, these seemed like the perfect solution. Simple and comfortable - but not plain and boring. Definitely fit the bill. These are some blue Evolve by 2xist briefs. Got them at Target - in a two pack with a pair of light blue as well. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised - I didn't expect much, but these are really comfortable.

Day 28 - Blue DKNY briefs

It was a bit of a pampering day today. I needed a haircut, so when I finally got up and functioning I went to get my hairs cut. After that went to the gym and spent some time with the cardio...and then it was time for a manicure. Felt really pampered getting the manicure - second one...every two weeks. Not a bad track record. Will definitely be getting them regularly and pampering myself.

I was opening up my drawer today to figure out what to throw on and nothing was really jumping out at me. These were purchased because they were blue and I loved the pop of yellow on them. They're cotton and have a bit of a pouch so they are wicked comfortable. They're full briefs, and have great rear coverage. They don't slip and I never find myself re-adjusting - always a plus! So...not very bright or eye-popping for today's ShowPantsSaturday, but here's my DKNY briefs none the less!

Day 27 - AussieBum Yellow Seamless Briefs

It's Friday, Thank Goddess!!! It's been one of those unpredictable weeks. Usually I can tell if things are going to be busy at work or not, but this week threw me a few curve balls. Days started out slow and then got crazy or started out crazy and then got all kinds of slow. There were no predictors this week - which really threw me for a loop and made me even more thankful today was Friday!

I wanted something bright and colourful, and a brand that I hadn't worn yet - so I opened up the drawer with all the AussieBums in them and pulled out this pair! They're seamless - so they just hug and conform to your body - which is awesome. They are so comfortable and the yellow makes them so bright - definitely stood out in the locker room and garnered me a few looks!

Day 26 - Clever Blue Thong

Thong Thursdays - and I'm keeping up so far. I don't think I'll get the whole year in with at thong every week, so I might have to start skipping thongs every other week or something...thought I would get through all of January first though. I'm pretty sure that this one came from fellow blogger RWraith55 - but he can correct me if it didn't. Actually - I know it did. He was wearing it in the office one day and showed me - I commented that I liked and he stripped it off, and put a different thong on and mailed it to me...and I have the pics to prove it! =)

This is a really comfortable thong - but I worry that the correct size would crush me. This one is larger than I normally wear and I'm glad. Nothing falls out, everything stays in place and nothing stretches up into places it's not supposed to be. But, a regular size M for me might not be so kind - actually, I know it wouldn't. Love the colours on this one - so very bright and fun to wear. Thanks RWraith!!!

Bum Chums In2Cooler Ice Hip Brief

I don't know about you, but most mornings, I open the underwear drawer and have to think about what to wear. Not on days I get to do reviews. DJ Bakelite started us off on this round of Bum Chums reviews, RWraith55 showed us his contribution last Wednesday and I'm wrapping things up (or un-wrapping as the case may be) with my review this week. We'd really like to thank Gareth and the boys at Bum Chums for sending us these awesome briefs for this round of reviews.

So, like WRaith55, I got the In2Cooler Hip Briefs to review. While he got the Ignite - I chose the Ice. Like the other Bum Chums undies that I have worn and reviewed, I have to say that I am really impressed with their underwear. I've been sporting these all day, and at the request of the Bum Chums boys, I even wore them to work out. I normally change at the gym and throw on a pair of compression shorts or other undies to work out in - that way I don't ruin all the good ones, but I was asked to work out in these and talk about that, so I did.

We all know that I love blue, and when I was asked what colour I would want to review, I wanted to pick another colour - just to break out of my shell, but DJ and RWraith both wanted Ignite (red) so I chose the Ice (blue). I'm not complaining though. The material is amazing - like all of the others in their lines. These are really, and the colour really pops and stands out from the amazing mesh that runs from waist band to waist band - forming a nice see through pouch in the front that cups and holds your goods nicely in place and shows them off - and then slides gently under and around and up your ass...almost like a landing strip. These are definitely FUN to wear and show off in! I definitely got some looks in the locker room. I really enjoy that that they are so colourful and playful. You don't have to worry about slippage - and they keep your bum covered all day long without riding into or up.

Now, let's talk about the gym. I wore these to work out today. I'm on a new very intense cardio lifting routine. So I work up a sweat and keep moving. The mesh lets everything breathe - and it's a bit of a thrilling sensation to feel the wind whipping through the goods as you're flat on your back on the bench, legs spread and weights in hand. (I had shorts on - stop with the dirty fantasies). They definitely let you move and breathe and I didn't have to do any re-adjustment at all. That is a huge plus! Whilst I wouldn't wear these to work out in again today they performed amazingly well and definitely provided a great bit of fun in the locker room. If I ever go to an underwear party - I'm wearing these!

So, if you're a regular reader, I know that you are aware of our ratings scale, but, just to review:

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better. Sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Dating Material: The fit is great, sits well, accentuates the positives and wears really well - suitable for all day wear.

Match Made in Heaven: You love the fit, you love the style, best undies you've worn in years and will be a part of your regular wear.

Head on...no pun intended

Based on our ratings scale, I would say that these are definitely Dating Material and have the potential to be a Match Made in Heaven! The highlights being that they fit amazingly well, hold their shape and fit all day, cover everything they're supposed to cover - and expose a little bit along the way - and are definitely fun and cheeky - in more ways than one!

Day 24 - Black and Blue 2xist No Show Briefs

I'm bringing you some exciting news today! We will be doing some more reviews here at Undies101 very soon! I won't spill the beans too much, but they're colourful and fun and You'll be seeing each of us in a pair or two and then a guest blogger/reviewer or two in them as well, reviewing in our Undies101 style...are you excited? We are!!!

I didn't know this morning that we were getting this great opportunity or my choice might have been a little different, but this morning when I opened the drawer, these kind of jumped out at me. They're a pair of black with blue stripe 2xist No Show briefs. They are wicked comfortable and they wear really well. I don't remember the last time I wore them...which is why they jumped out at me today. That's the one benefit of trying to wear everything in my collection...I get to wear all of these undies again and experience them like the first time.

Day 23 - Red Obviously Briefs

Signature Scents...over the course of the years, I have worn a variety of scents. The original Green Polo, Drakkar Noir, Calvin Klein Eternity and Obsession, Kenzo Power and more recently Prada Homme and Prada Homme Intensive. I think the Prada scents are my favourites so far. I need to find little travel atomizers so I can travel easier with these...I think I have to check Sephora and see what they have. Do any of you have signature scents?

I wanted some colour today. I wanted to have something bright under all of my clothes to start the week. Red - bright and bold and, lets face it, fun to know you're wearing that pop of colour underneath it all...even if nobody else knows you have it on. I really like these Obviously briefs. They were their original brief cut before they went low rise and sport cut and thong and jock...have had these for a while. Obviously has some of the best pouches in the business and I love them. I wish they made the red in a low rise cut, but I'll just have to live with these until they do.

Day 22 - Blue Underdaks Trunks

I got these from a friend Down Under years and years ago. He had worn them and then sent them to me in the first of many exchanges we've made throughout the years. I love that he'd worn them in and they were super comfy before I got them...made them even more comfortable to wear and super hot to think about.

I wish that I could get more Underdaks here in the states, once I got the first pair on they quickly became some of my favourite undies to wear. They are cotton and super comfortable. They hug all the right places. They really just conform to my body once I put them on. They so rock my world. Even as old as these ones are, they are some of my favourites. As comfortable as they are, I don't know how they haven't made the rounds to other countries to become favourites worldwide.

Day 21 - Emporio Armani Blue Briefs

I can't take it anymore. The lies and deceit. The pretending. The bullshit being spewed by the politicos. I'm not naming names, but you cannot claim to be one thing, when every one of your actions paints you as another and get a pass. All I'm saying.

Today is #showpantssaturday on twitter, and I wanted to wear something comfortable, so I chose these blue Emporio Armani briefs. They are soft and comfortable and hold their shape well all day. They are more of a full cut brief, but o so worth it. I'm sure that they blue is what drew me to them initially - we all know I love me some blue! What a great pair for a Saturday!

Day 20 - Hugo Boss Briefs

sometimes, less is more. When I first moved to the city, I didn't have cable with hundreds of channels and I always seemed to find something to watch, or I put a movie on. My roommate and I got addicted to Law and Order back then - it seemed to be on all day long on TNT or TBS and we could always identify a place or two in the show - once, in a really old episode - our apartment building from across the street in the park. Now, I've grown up, I make more money and I have hundreds of cable channels at my fingertips, and yet, tonight I can't even find a Law and Order episode to watch. What's up with that?

Today, I pulled these briefs out of the drawer. I originally got them because I loved the contrast between the blue and the yellow. The dark of the blue offset the bright of the yellow and together they created this amazing combination. They're briefs, they're cotton and they're comfortable. They're not full cut briefs though, so they hug your body nicely and seem to show things off quite well. I will give them credit for being really great to wear all day long. What are your thoughts? Do you like?

Day 19 - N2N Bodywear Odyssey Thong

I sleep in a tshirt and underwear - unless I'm not sleeping alone, and then that's a different story. Sorry if that ruins things for some people, but it is what it is. Usually I have some older boxers and boxerbriefs that I throw on with my tshirt so as not to ruin my good undies. For the past few weeks though I have been sleeping in a tshirt and whatever underwear I wore for the day. Thursdays always throw me for a loop though. I can sleep in briefs, I can sleep in trunks...but sleeping in a thong always seems a bit off. I love wearing them - don't get me wrong, they just don't seem like sleeping material. Guess I'll try it tonight.

I got these at the annual N2N Bodywear Holiday sale - I was drawn to the material and the colour popped for me. The colour is medium cypress. It's a classic N2N thong with a pouch to lift and thrust you out. It's cotton so it's soft and comfortable. I barely notice I'm wearing it, which as we all know is one of the hallmarks of a great thong in my opinion. I used to have a light blue one from N2N in this style - but I don't know where it ended up - hence why I think it's time to clean up the collection. A few pair seem to have gone missing. Guess we'll see what I find and what I've lost. These rock though...love them and so glad I bought them!

Review: Bum-Chums In2cooler Ignite Hip Briefs

Hey boys! I hope everyone is doing well and trying to stay warm on these very cold days, especially if its a Thursday and they are sporting a thong for #thongthursdays like I am today. This post was suppose to by yesterday but I got sidetracked. Sorry.

On Tuesday I had the chance to sport a new brief given to me by our great friends at Bum-Chums. The low rise hip briefs are called the "In2cooler Ignite" briefs. The "Ignite" part is for the color. They are a HOT intense color of red with some black trim.

First up is the material and color.These briefs are hot-rod red, which is great for underwear since its a way for everyone to be bold when wearing dress clothes or a uniform to work that you are not at all, a fan of. The material is durable but breathable at the same time. It is also feels comfortable against the skin. This is very helpful when you hit up the gym right after work and end up sporting these on the treadmill or while lifting weights.But the added bonus that these briefs have that others don't is the ventilation. The pouch itself is constructed from a power mesh material that has a high stretch quality providing perfect support; the material is also single ply in order to maximize the airflow characteristics. From the pouch, the power mesh runs beneath the body and terminates at the waist elastic line at the rear; this continuous strip again allows the airflow capabilities of the fabric to be fully exploited.

Next topic is the fit! The fit is great with these briefs. The pouch is one of the most important things I look at. The pouch is great! It has room for my package and contours well to it. Another key factor when I am sporting a pair of briefs is the back-side coverage. I HATE it when a pair of briefs start to ride up on my ass. Now, I know for guys like me with "junk in the trunk" briefs can tend to do that since they are not made for guys of my build. But that is not the case with Bum-Chums. They fit great and give me full coverage on my back-side. I would only add that these briefs were a little snug on me but that was probably more due to my holiday weight gain then to the briefs them self. I sported a size large which fit snug but had great coverage and never bunched or moved out of place even at the gym.

Below is the rating system that we here at Undies 101 blog use to review underwear.

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time

Hook Up Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear

Based on our rating scale I find that this trunk falls in the category of “Dating Material”. It fits well and the color is great. The fit and the color is great and the added functionality and sexiness that comes from the mesh pouch and partial mesh rear is great for a number of reasons.

Day 18 - Michael Kors Trunks

okay, okay, I have an addiction. I was chatting with one of my fellow bloggers yesterday about the fact that Michael Kors has a line of men's underwear out now. He was wearing a pair of his briefs and he looked so hot in them. Won't say too much about them because hopefully he'll be posting in them...but I digress. Anyway, I had seen the MK briefs and trunks at one of the local discount stores, and since my blogger looked so hot in them and said they were comfy, I wanted a pair, so stopped on the way home from work. They had NONE in my size. The Large were too big, but the small waist was the same size as another brand's M that I wear and fit in well (did the hold up test), so I decided to try this one pair of small trunks in bright blue I could find. Loved the colour, of course.

These fit well, and the microfiber material is really comfy. I love how they fit on my ass and how they hug my package. I am a little worried that with a wash they might shrink...which means I'll have to pass them onto someone else. Worth the investment, even if I only get to wear them once. LOVE the colour and the fit...

Day 17 - Express Camo Trunks

Okay - a bit of confessional time. I follow this hottie on twitter and while he doesn't wear usually, he does have to wear them for work. He was talking about his undies one day, so, being undiesboy, I asked him what he was wearing...and he told me and showed me. He was wearing this hot pair of Express trunks and he said he really loved them. So...not owning a pair, I wanted some. I went to express and they were on sale for like 3 for $30...so I got three of them.

So that's the back story on today's undies. Day 17 is a pair of Camo trunks from Express. I have to say, for trunks, I really enjoy having them on all day. I don't have to do a lot of adjusting, and they actually show things off nicely and keep everything in place like they are supposed to, so really no complaints, and thanks to my hottie for introducing them to me!

Day 16 - Unico Purple Striped Briefs

It was nice to have the day off today, really nice. I don't usually take advantage of the days off, and usually end up in the office to get some work done. I decided to not do that today. I took the day off. I slept in (11:30), got up, made coffee and relaxed a bit. Went to the gym...got a good workout and run in and then got a manicure! That was a nice treat! Wandered around and went shopping for a bit - mostly window - before coming home.

Have had these awesome purple Unico briefs on all day. They have a slight pouch on them, but not too huge. The colour is awesome, and the stripes on them contour in such a great way that they help to accentuate the positives. They are super comfy, and have moved well with me all day. I think these are definite keepers!

Superhero underwear uncut

Day 15 - Unknown striped briefs

I don't know much about these briefs - there's no tag in them. I can't remember the brand -I know I got them in a little shop in the Castro when I was in San Francisco last summer. They were on sale...3 pair for a set amount of money - and I bought three pair. Was definitely drawn to these...there's blue in them, so, of course I was. I loved the stripes. They are really comfortable, even if the ass of them does ride up a bit throughout the day, but they are wicked soft and comfortable - so I guess that makes up for it. Here they are...the green and blue striped briefs I've had on all day today.

Day 14 - Red Andrew Christian Nano Fit briefs

Sorry about the confusion with yesterday's post. Usually when I schedule the posts, the go off without a hitch, so I'm not sure what happened last night. It's been a bit of a lazy weekend so far. I went to the trainer yesterday after work, then came home and my hottie of a handyman came over and painted a bit more of my room...one wall is brown and two are blue now...yay! A bit closer to where I want it to be! Then I went out with a friend in town for work...stayed out way late and way past my bedtime. Woke up late this morning...and tired. Showered and went off to meet some other friends in town for the long weekend and did a bit of shopping then home to put the room back together...well, somewhat back together - at least liveable until I get the room finished!

Here's the bright red, Nano fit Andrew Christian briefs I've had on all day today...wicked comfortable and I really love the way they fit. I can't believe I wore them today, I'm not going to be able to wear them again for at least another year...ughhh! Oh well, poor planning. These are some of the most comfortable briefs I own...so form fitting, great pouch, cover the ass so well and just fit like second skin.

Day 13 - Calvin Klein One trunks - Blue Wave

I don't know what to really talk about today, so I'll just get right into the undies. I realized I hadn't worn any trunks yet, so I wanted a pair for today. When I opened the drawer, these just jumped out at me...so I took it as a sign and pulled them on. I really enjoy the material and how soft it is on, how much it conforms to my body. I love the elastic that they use in the legs and the waistband, it's not binding or tight and feels very smooth on. When I bought these, I was really drawn into the blue and white pattern, it reminded me of waves. All in all, I love these trunks.

Day 12 - Orange Undergear Thong

Have you ever shared underwear with someone else? Have you ever passed a pair of your undies on to someone else when you were done with them and knew you wouldn't be wearing them anymore? Have you ever traded with another guy? I have a few times...the undies I'm wearing today, I got from one of our fellow bloggers - RWraith55. He was done with this thong and passed it along to me, and I'm glad that he did...I really like them.

It's Thursday - so that means it's Thong Thursday - so I wanted a bit of colour and I knew exactly which thong I wanted today - this bright orange one. I love wearing it...I love that it was well worn by RWraith55 before I got it to wear. I love how it fits...I love how it feels and I love the brightness of it. It has to be one of my favourite thongs...

Day 11 - HOM striped briefs

Every year, I seem to look forward to two things more and more - the first week in January when a certain big tree comes down and work gets easier to navigate and then the beginning of February when all the gung-ho, taking up space and not really working out bodies at the gym thin out and stop coming all together...only to return at the beginning of the next year.

Today, I opened the drawer and really didn't know what I wanted to wear at all...I rummaged through for a few moments and then my hand settled on these. I still didn't have any clue what I wanted to wear, so I kept searching, and again my hands came back to these, so I took it as a sign and pulled them on. I don't remember where and when I got these, but I was definitely drawn to the blue and the stripes. I've always wanted more HOM stuff, but it's not really sold in the states, and it's so expensive to order it, so I don't have too much. These are incredibly comfortable, sit well and wear well all day and didn't ride up at all. I really enjoy these and I think they'll be a part of the regular rotation.

OH, how I have neglected myself and all of you having not posted in over a month. I have no excuse except a severe case of 'egoiste'. I get lost in my head and forget the world around me. You'd think with my overpowering need to show off I'd be on here all the time in skimpy underwear. Damn, I must have been really lost. I hope this will more then make up for my absence.

It is assembled in such a way that it almost becomes part of me. It's as if the designer knew just were to put the seams making it tight where it should be tight and nice and roomy where it counts

The BUM CHUMS: Tool Belt Ignite Brief, shown here in small in red (ignite), is made of all synthetic material from the waistband to the mesh back to the pouch. It is very flirty when on the skin and for me makes the most of my member and ass. The back is a black see through mesh which hugs your buns and leaves little to the imagination. While the the front has a protruding pouch which makes your member look nice and full while still giving amazing support. The cool thing about this brief is in the wrap around mesh in the front. The back piece meets at the front of the brief creating a 'tool belt' effect. It creates the feeling of being prepared for anything that might happen when worn in those more intimate moments.
