Hi guys, we've got our former Undies101 trainer back with us for another guest reviews for Apollowear. This time we've got him reviewing the Everyday Jock. Anyway, when we asked Shaun for his thoughts on this pair, this is what he had to say:

Hey all,

Long time no see! I am excited to be a guest blogger for Wangjiang’s blue pouch jockstrap. The jockstrap was fairly snug, but given my naturally large thighs that is probably unsurprising. I really dig the blue color itself, as it adds a pop of color and directs attention … well… where it should go. The front “cup” was made like a jockstrap, but is much less constrictive. That being said, I found myself constantly trying to fit my balls back in as they would periodically pop out below the material. Overall though, the fully stuffed pouch accentuated my package in a good way!

With the front pouch being less restrictive, I was surprised at the stronger elastic used for the waistband. This not only kept it in place, but provided some “carriage” support and body shaping that was appreciated.

Overall, while a stylish piece that is good for showmanship, the frontal support issues make it more of a showpiece than a functional one. Great for an intimate night, less so for a night on the town.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

Day 9:Clavin Klein white briefs

I haven't worn my Calvin Klein tighty whities in a long time so thats what I chose to wear today. There's not much to be say about them other then they are super comfortable compared to my cheaper Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, and Starter whities. I have a bunch in 2 different waist sizes (28 and 30). These that I'm sporting today are the bigger of the bunch which in turn has a slightly higher cut. A lot of people think white underwear is blah and boring, but I think of my whities as "old reliable." I wear my CKs proudly!

Day 839 - Aqua Andrew Christian Almost Naked Briefs

Between Jet-lag and working overnights for the next few days, this my body is totally off kilter and I can't take it...it's insane. Not sure how I'm going to get back to a normal schedule next week and then a few overnights and back to normal the week after...insane I tell you. Wanted to be comfortable on my first overnight, so when I opened up the drawer in the hotel room today, I pulled these on. Definitely comfortable and definitely easy to wear. Can't argue with that! Light blue/aqua...whatever you want to call it...it's fun, sexy and easy to wear!

Hey guys-it has been a while, sorry I have been crazy busy lately! Today I am here to discuss one of my favorite things in the world-jockstraps! Our last poll asked what kind of jock you preferred-traditional, fashion, air jock, none, or all of the above.

Well, for me-that is a no brainer. All of the above! I love my jockstraps, no matter what the style. Chances are, you will find me in a jock whether I am at work, out for a night on the town, working out, or just lounging around the house.

I guess it all starts with a good old traditional jock. I don't know why, but there is something so hot about a Bike athletic jock. Masculine. Sexy. Supportive. Practical. I love wearing these to workout in, but sometimes find it hot to contrast them under jeans or dress clothes to add that bit of rugged appeal. Pair one with some hot socks and ballcap, and I am weak ;-)

Next, we take a twist on the traditional jockstrap and go into a more fashion style. Fashion jocks have taken off and go in many directions. My favorite brand, Nasty Pig, tends to stick closely to a cut and style of a traditional jock for their fans-but adding bold colors and designs to enhance the look.

But fashion jocks have gotten as about creative as you can let your mind go, with altered cuts, enhanced pocuhes, varied materials such as mesh, unique straps, and so on.

Finally, the air jock is a specific spinoff from a fashion jock that has probably become the newest, most popular growing trend in underwear. It takes a spin from a classic bikini/brief with a "cutout" in the back to mimic a jock effect and expose the ass. For someone who does not particularly like two straps under their cheeks, but wants a more daring exposed look and feel-it's a nice alternative. I kind of look at these as the male version of a woman's thong. Sexy, still supportive, and available in any style and cut you could imagine.

So forgive me for the full discussion class, but jocks are something I am passionate about! If you have not given jockstraps a fair shot, I encourage you to pick a style that suits your wants and needs and try it out today!

Guest Review - Apollowear Lift Pouch Bikini

(at least I think that's what it is, I can't find this exact pair on the Apollowear site, with apologies.) Anyway, when we asked Shaun for his thoughts on this pair, this is what he had to say:

Hey all!

I’m here to review Wangjiang’s red and black briefs. While I’m not normally one to wear red, I think it’s important to add a bit of color to the wardrobe. A quick note, the pictures do not do justice to the *texture* of the material. It’s incredibly smooth and spandexy, and felt great to rub my hands across. It was like a sexy pair of underarmour. It really hugged my body, and made me want to do more squats to give my butt a bit more perk!

Sadly, the front is a bit lackluster. I mean, it’s alright, but there is nothing really dynamic or catchy going on there. Once the full package was uploaded, and it was definitely a noticeable bulge, the black pouch doesn’t quite bring attention to the area. The red lines on the side point you there, but the black space removes much of the contour and presentation that I would want. Finally, it hangs a bit lower on the body than I anticipated, so it would definitely call for a bit of trimming before hand ;)

That being said, I keep going back to the great texture of the material, love the touchability of the fabric. Great for when you know someone’s going to have their hands on your body, perhaps less so in other situations.

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Day 8: Superman Briefs

Today I felt immensely better, so naturally I thought these undies were appropriate. They are one of my all time favorite pairs (its so hard to have 1 all time favorite because I love all my undies so much). When I put these on I feel like the Man of Steel himself, and indomitable force unable to be reckoned with. I feel strong, confident, and impenetrable. They are not particularly excellent in the comfort factor, these undies are definitely more of a novelty but I still love them! Especially because of the Superman insignia on the front as well as what they say on the back.

We've got another treat for you! Donkey's back with a review for Apollowear. We sent him this WJ Everyday Jock jockstrap and asked for his input and this is what he had to say:

Okay I'm going to just lay my cars on the table in this first paragraph. I know I should probably keep the suspense in a Hitchcockian way until the end where you find out if I really like this pair of underwear or not. Well let me just say that I do...a lot!!

I have to admit that my initial response to them was a bit apprehensive. I am used to wearing jocks that have a little bit more fabric in the front; more ass-less briefs. But as the old adage says "never judge a book by its cover" and never judge a jock by its pouch.

When I tried them on I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only do they fit really; they fit naturally, showing off what is there without any obvious support or artificiality. So you don't feel constrained in any way. I've worn this many times, both at home and out and about.

To add more kudos to my obvious love affair with this (which I apologise for), friends have also tried it on and loved it. In fact, we all have bought more pairs; and that is the ultimate proof.

As a reminder, our ratings scale is:

Flirting Material: It fits okay, really great to wear out for a short amount of time.

Hookup Material: The fit is much better, sits well and wears well, but might not be comfortable for all day wear.

I'm in Wales...who would have ever thought I'd get here??? Scotland this trip too, go figure. Of course, I'll be in London...I can't come all the way to the UK and not be in London. That would be blasphemous! Honestly, I can't stop thinking about my date the other night. I mean, it's not what I think about all day, but at random times throughout the day, my mind definitely drifts back to him. How much fun we had...the feel of his lips on mine...and then I smile. All I have for now, and the hope that he won't have forgotten about me in the few days I'm gone.

Wanted comfort for the train journey from London to Cardiff today...and went with these bubblegum (why not just call them pink, I mean, really) Color Vibe briefs...definite comfort for the day.

What got you into underwear?

The reason I got into underwear was because I love different styles and colours of underwear, especially different colours. I didn't realise how many different types there was until I went on Twitter and started to see all the guys in thongs, g-strings, jockstraps and the briefs without the ass bit, I didn't know how many different types there were.

What style of underwear do you usually wear and why?

I usually wear boxers briefs to work because i do a messy job and don't want to ruin my best briefs, but on the weekend I wear briefs when I am around the house.

What kind of underwear did you grow up wearing and why did you switch (if you have)?

I grew up wearing boxers because I didn't know about other types of underwear but only last year that I started wearing briefs because I love Andrew Christian styles and wanted to try something different.

What is your favourite style to wear and why?

Now, I prefer wearing briefs, because i haven't wore them that much and it's nice to wear something different, I love Andrew Christians almost naked briefs.

What style underwear do you feel sexiest in?

Briefs definitely because there so many different types of briefs and because it's so little fabric I feel like naked and makes my bugle look bigger.

Why do you like showing off in your underwear?

I like showing off my undies because I like to know what people think and like see others underwear.

How big is your underwear collection?

My underwear collection isn't that big now, but I like to get more, I would like to try jockstraps and thongs.

Is there a style of underwear you absolutely won't wear? (panties, thongs, boxers, etc.)

I won't wear panties or women's underwear, not really my thing.

Day 7: American Apparel navy and red briefs

I missed a couple days due to being under the weather. But I'm feeling a whole lot better today so I figured I would make up for lost time.

These are probably my favorite briefs out of my American Apparel collection. What makes them my favorite is that they are different from the standard American Apparel briefs because of their color scheme. Most American Apparel underwear I own is of a solid color with white piping. These on the other hand have red piping which contrasts the solid navy really well and looks awesome. They are also very comfy to boot and really have a good bulge enhancement factor for just being classic Y fronts. They fit we really well and I love them!

I really like this pair the feel is very comfortable, the fabric is made in a way that's a little different from others. I also like how it shapes around the back almost like framing the ass like a picture.

Day 837 - Red Andrew Christian Almost Naked Sweetheart Jockstrap

Hi guys, I skipped a day. I had taken Tuesday off from work anyway so I could pack and get myself ready to head overseas. Only thing I did was go for a run and pick up the laundry and pack on Tuesday, so I just stayed in my compression shorts from my run. I also had a date on Monday night...nothing major, just dinner and then drinks at a local bar. He's adorable, conversation is really easy and we had a great time together. He got me to do something I don't ever do - karaoke. Then, when I walked him home there was a bit of a make out session on the sidewalk outside his apt. I forgot how much fun that is...how exciting it is. And then, I got on a plane today to come overseas for 16 days. Such is my life. I wore this bright red Almost Naked Sweetheart jock on the flight, and got a great upgrade from Premium Economy to Upper Class...god I love Virgin Atlantic!

Over the past few weeks, Undiesboy and I had been discussing our mutual penchant for underwear and it came up in our talks that I love trading underwear and trying on other men's briefs. As it turned out, Undiesboy also loves trading his underwear and was more than happy to send some my way to wear. Needless to say, I was thrilled. I waited as patiently as I could until I noticed the mail-person drop off a package by my mailbox. The wait was finally over. I sprinted up my driveway, retrieved the mail, and ran back for my bedroom and immediately locked the door behind me as I ripped open the bag. I was like a kid on Christmas morning. New-to-me yet pre-worn briefs, all for me!

Right off the bat I noticed the bright orange AussieBum brief. It is flashy, looks smaller than what I thought it would be, but fits nicely for a medium. It is very soft, form fitting yet snug, and looks pretty shnazzy I think. It is definitely a departure color wise from my usual tighty whities but I can see myself strutting around in them in mixed company with no shame despite the cartoon print. Yes, adult cartoon briefs! I am pretty pumped. However, with as snug as it is on me my pouch is tucked away. This should be no issue though, a few morning woodies from now and it'll be stretched to fit.

Next, I fished out the silky, blue Papi trunk-brief hybrid. For as snug as the AussieBum brief was for my pouch, the Papi brief more than makes up for it. The around-the-groin stitch provides an amazing separation and lifting sensation for my twig and berries. It even appears to enhance it, too, which I cannot complain at all about. The silky fabric also makes this brief super comfortable, breezy, and very lightweight. This will definitely come in handy during the humid summer months. Plus, the interesting print makes me feel rather exotic. I can picture myself laying on a foreign beach in just these and fitting in perfectly with the locals.

Finally, what I could instinctively tell would be my favorite, was the Croota brief. Basically, it felts like and looks like Heaven on me (if I could be so vain). The feel, again, is very soft, and with that comes a great fit. I rarely workout, and I have a rather flat backside, but what I like most about this brief is what it does for my butt. I have never been able to find a brief that fits over my cheeks as perfectly as this one does. And that magic little up-the-crack "wedgie" it gives really makes my ass pop, instead of just hiding it or making it look like it bleeds into the rest of my body. I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on some more Croota briefs.

Also, as I mentioned in my first post, I have a thing for jockstraps as well. I picked up this small and thin-banded white "swimmers jockstrap" a few months back at a small athletics store across town. It has not disappointed. I recommend branching out and experimenting with jockstraps too, if you haven't already done so. And this one is a nice starter, as it is very lightweight and less restrictive than some for added support and movement. Plus, you'll look hot as Hell as it accentuates your ass and cock.

Day 836 - CiN2 Culture Club briefs...

When I saw these in the store, I just had to have them. They were bright and so colourful and the pattern was just HOT. I bought these and another new brand I had never tried before, that have yet to be worn. These are some really hot and sexy CiN2 briefs, so comfortable and so easy to wear all day long. I had a date tonight and these didn't disappoint in keeping me comfortable. I forgot how much fun it is to make out with someone outside their apt on an early date as you're saying goodnight...so much fun!

Day 6: Calvin Klein checkered brief

Today I picked these out of my drawer. Haven't worn them in a while and thought they could use some love! These undies are made of very comfortable nylon that feels very soft against the skin. The pouch holds my goods in a snug fashion and adds a little bit of flair to them as well. The pattern is awesome, black and white scratched checkers. These undies got me a couple looks in the locker room at the gym tonight too!

Hello boys/men! Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. Mine was so-so and surprisingly I didn't drink. Maybe that's why it was only so-so. Anyways, I'm a bit late in posting this review so I apologize. As you have noticed we have a great deal of gear given to us to review by Apollowear. The guys there really hooked us up! Thanks again for generosity to help make these reviews possible.

I had the opportunity to review the WJ Buns Jock. Which at first glance is what i would call a brief jock. Looks very much like a brief from the from but with the ass cut out.

Unfortunately, I don't have many positive things to say about this jock. The brand says its a size XL but not for a guy of my size. The website mentions that their XL are a size 33 waist. If that is the case then this brand is only good for very skinny twink boys or skinny but built muscle otters not a athletic husky guy like myself (did I do well describing myself with out saying fat or chubby, LOL).

Based on this sizing it was not a comfortable jock to sport for a whole day. The waist was obviously too tight for me. The pouch didn't have enough room for my balls let alone the rest of my manly package. So the pouch was very uncomfortable. The leg straps/back size was obviously meant for someone with a smaller ass since the straps didn't outline my ass as much as run right up the middle of each cheek. See pics below for further detail.

Below is our rating scale for our underwear/gear reviews:

In terms of our rating scale I can't even give the WJ Buns Jock a rating. This jock as well as the whole WJ line isn't designed for guys with a waist size above 33. They say their XL is a 33. Which is fine if the rest of the world thought that a 33 inch waist was an XL, but they don't. So if you are around a 33 in waist and like what you see, please check out the Apollowear website for all the WJ brand gear they carry. But don't exclude Apollowear from your underwear shopping options. They have other brands that might fit you.

today I wore these lovely trunks that Undiesboy has been so nice to give to me. I love these trunks, from the color scheme, to the patten, to the comfort they offer. I feel like i am wearing briefs when I wear them. These were also my first pair of Papi underwear, can't wait to add more to my ever growing collection! Thanks Undiesboy!

Day 835 - Purple Joe's Low Rise Trunks

I have them in several other colours as well, and this is the last of them that need to be worn, so I'm very excited to finish them out today with bright purple. I was a little bit busy yesterday and didn't have time to make a post on here but I figured I would make up for it by giving you a 2 for 1 (2 posts) special today! An Easter gift from me.

Yesterday I wore these Aeropostale boxer briefs. I normally don't wear boxer briefs too often anymore so this is a rarity for me and a special occasion for you, if boxer briefs happen to be your thing ;) I do love the shades of red and white stripe pattern. Only thing I do not like about these and boxer briefs in general is that the legs ride up on me. But I have to admit they give my ass that nice round look!

I had a lot of running around to do today to try and get ready to fly mid week - I hate mid week flights overseas...feels like such a giant waste of time and energy, but it can't be avoided...so I had to try and cram as much into today as I could with tomorrow being the holiday and all. I pulled these blue 2xist briefs out of the drawer and as they'd not been worn before I threw them on. I am not a huge fan, and I think I need to just give up on 2xist if it's not a jockstrap. I have more of their briefs that haven't been worn, but if these are an indication, I won't be liking those either.

This particular pair I received from Undiesboy himself. Thanks Undiesboy! I grabbed them out of my drawer to put on today. They give my bulge a great pop due to their low cut and are super comfy. No ride up whatsoever and are definitely a staple in my collection! Love them!

I do love the X Factor line and the modal briefs are some of the most comfortable, form fitting underwear I have ever owned. I had a doctors appointment today, so I needed to be a bit bright but also conservative and not show up in a thong or jock or anything. Opened the drawer and these were on top, so I figured, what the hell and threw them on! Worth it. So comfortable!
