A linguagem é uma forma importante de interação entre os indivíduos. Mais do que relacionar necessidades e ofertas, ela se torna importante quando se trata do imaterial. Todos já tiveram a experiência da incapacidade de transmissão de um sentimento ou sensação. Mas quando falamos da possibilidade do desaparecimento de toda uma cultura, o risco é muito mais grave.

Com a perda da língua, também se esvai todo o valor da cultura, história, aprendizado e contextualização daquela cultura. Perdendo isso, um povo perde seu valor, auto-estima e a evolução de todas suas gerações.

Com uma língua desaparecendo a cada 2 ou 3 semanas, e a metade das línguas existentes em risco, percebemos que a perda de informações, culturas e diversidade, pode ser mais urgente que a nossa capacidade de reverter esse processo. Grandes mudanças na sociedade caminham no ritmo político, que tem interesses e velocidade própria, dificultando o processo de discussão em grande escala.

Em um país de dimensões continentais, a preservação da cultura é fragmentada e realizada em maior parte de forma descontextualizada. Em um momento decisivo no entanto, temos a oportunidade de reverter essa situação.

Atualmente existem vários projetos em atividade, como o do Banco Real, Unesco, Minc. Apesar disso, observamos que a grande mídia, cujo poder foi cedido pelo Estado para a transmissão de informação e cultura, está se transformando em um reprodutor de valores de massa, excluindo a cultura local, suas características e expressões.

wikipedia defines as the Language: Language is any and every sign system thatserves as the means of communicating ideas or feelings through conventional signs, sounds, graphics, gestures etc..

Language is an important form of interaction between individuals. Rather than relate the needs and offerings, it becomes important when it comes to the intangible. everyone have experienced the inhability to transmit a feeling or sensation.But when we talk about the possibility of the disappearance of an entire culture, the risk is much higher.

With the loss of language also goes away the entire value of culture, history, learning and context of that culture . Losing it, a nation loses its value, self-esteem and progress of all their generations.

With a language disappearing every two or three weeks, and half of the existing languages at risk, we find that the loss of information, culture and diversity, can be more urgent than our ability to reverse this process. Major changes in society move in the political beat, which has its own interests and speed, making the discussion process harder on a larger scale.

In a country of continental dimensions, the preservation of culture is fragmented and mostly decontextualized. In this decisive moment, however, exists the opportunity to reverse this situation.

Currently, there are several active projects, such as the Banco Real, UNESCO, Minc. Nevertheless, we observed that the mainstream media, whose power was ceded by the state for the transmission of information and culture, is becoming a reproducer of mass values, excluding the local culture, its characteristics and expressions.

A team of researchers from the departments of history, electrical engineering and computer science, literature and geography as well as the Quebec City Museum of Civilization, received a large donation for research infrastructure of the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, and the contributions of the Government of Quebec and Laval University to establish the Laboratory of Museology and Cultural Engineering.

LAMIC is the first laboratory of experimental museology in the world. The importance of this is studying ways to move the culture in a museum environment. Robert Lepage, creator of the project and founder of the multidisciplinary ex machina, is innovative and multi-disciplinary, thus allowing experimentation in the approach of historical characters, places, objects and narratives. It was important to adapt to creative images that objects, scenes and space-related. Were 400 years of history of Quebec, displayed on the grain silos in the Port of Quebec.This provided, among other things, validate the process of creating non-narrative, or narrative, non-linear. This led us from project to project.

The new project took form in the chapelle des Ursulines, being a historically important place. The chapel was the first educational institution for women in the Americas, founded in 1599. The space still exists and is an existing chapel in Old Quebec. It's the same, but is not necessarily accessible to most people. Make a model of the space to be replicated elsewhere? It is important to digitally reproduce the local as well as capturing its essence.

It is interesting to reflect on the relationship between objects, visitors and the local.

Uma equipe de pesquisadores dos departamentos de História, engenharia elétrica e informática, literatura e Geografia, bem como a cidade de Quebec Museu da Civilização, recebeu uma grande doação para infra-estrutura de pesquisa da Fundação Canadense para Inovação, e as contribuições do Governo de Quebec e da Université Laval para estabelecer o Laboratório de Museologia e Engenharia Cultural.

LAMIC é o primeiro laboratório de museologia experimental do mundo. A importancia disso é estudar a formas de passar a cultura em um ambiente de museu. Robert Lepage, idealizador do projeto e fundador da multidisciplinar ex machina, é inovador e multi-disciplinar, permitindo assim, experimentação na aproximação de personagens históricos, locais, objetos e narrativas. Foi importante a adaptação criativadas imagens para que os objetos, cenas e relacionassem com o espaço. Foram 400 anos das história do Quebec, exibidos sobre os silos de grãos do Porto de Quebec. Isso proporcionou, entre outras coisas, validar o processo de criação não-narrativo, ou narrativo e não linear. Isso nos levou de projeto em projeto.

O novo projeto tomou forma na chapelle des ursulines, por ser um local históricamente importante. A capela foi a primeira instituição de ensino para mulheres nas américas, criado em 1599. O espaço ainda existe e é uma capela existente na Velha Quebec. É a mesma, mas não é necessariamente acessível para a maioria das pessoas. Como fazer um modelo do espaço para ser reproduzido em outros lugares? É importante reproduzir o local digitalmente, assim como captar sua essência. É interessante poder refletir sobre a relação entre os objetos, os visitantes e o local.
