I can still recall the happiness I felt the moment my husband surprisingly proposed to me. It was in front my entire family plus with friends and nosy neighbors. What I cared for was the happiness being asked by the man you love to become his wife.

My Neighbor's Wife, Over My Dead Body, No Strings Attached

This was taken a couple of months ago I think. This was one of those movie marathons my sister and I did. It was one of those times when we couldn't think of anything but watch movies of about three or four nonstop. Actually during this romantic movie marathon, there weren't only three romantic movies we watched but four. The fourth one was No Other Woman. We weren't satisfied watching only these three so my sisters went out to rent No Other Woman but unfortunately, the said movie was already rented out. So the two run to a sidewalk vendor and bought a copy. As expected, it was a bad copy. I wasn't able to take a picture of it and didn't even able to finish watching it. I still hope to watch it again and hopefully I'll get the original copy.

Poker at a first glance looks boring but when you get to know the game better, you'll know it's actually a great game that many love to play. I know I am late but do allow me to greet you a Merry Christmas! How was your Christmas celebration? Some of you for sure had a merry and fun Christmas celebration with the family while some had a blue one away from home. We didn't have a grand Christmas celebration this year. We wasn't even able to celebrate it with the whole family. With the disaster that had just stroke in two cities in the Philippines, it seems so hard to celebrate Christmas in a merry way. Well, I just hope that you at least had enjoyed the Christmas in your own way. I am thankful at least I was able to talk to my mother on the phone and had bonded with my sisters Christmas Eve.

By the way, it feels like a decade had passed since I last shared something fun and entertaining in this blog. Wow! It feels like I've gone that long from the blog land. The holidays plus birthday celebrations have kept me occupied that blogging came last in my thoughts and priorities. I feel pity not only for this blog but to all my blogs for being silent for almost three weeks. There's another big celebration coming up, which is the New Year and before it comes I must make a short update for this blog. And oh, I almost forgot the alumni homecoming in the high school I've graduated that will happen before the New Year. I'll be busy for sure in the following days.

I found these photos in my computer file while looking for pictures to share for the color memes. I thought of sharing them. It's quite entertaining even though these are just photos. I am sure this event was an entertaining one.

If I am not mistaken, this was during the the search for Ms. DMC, one of the events during DMC's foundation day. DMC is a college where Cheep currently takes Hotel and Restaurant Management course. The candidate from Cheep's department won 2nd runner up. I recall the foundation day was sometime in August, I'm just not sure of the exact date.

I Watched "Thor" Finally!

Thor, I've been anticipating to watch it and finally, I've watched it today with sisters. Thor is a 2011 Marvel film directed by Kenneth Branagh starring lead stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman. I hoped to watch the movie on the big screen inside a cinema with pop corn and soda on the sides. It would have been nice that way but watching it from a clear copy CD on a 21 inches television wasn't that bad. I am so grateful to my sisters for renting the CD although I didn't ask them to. It just implies they were thinking of me while picking movies to rent.

What can I say about the movie?

First, first, Mr. Hemsworth is hot. It's his huge muscles that captures my eyes first, then his pair of expressive little eyes..and then his portrayal of an arrogant yet a very powerful hero Thor, the God of thunder. I found his arrogance cool and cute. I personally think he's perfect for the role as he has that pair of perfect, hammer-like muscles to carry Thor's powerful hammer Mjölnir. The movie has lines and scenes that made me laugh especially when Thor was thrown down to Earth living in ignorance. Of course, there were scenes that made me giggle, well not just me but made my little sisters giggle as well. You can't blame us. Wink!

It was a great movie. It teaches lesson and based on my understanding from watching, the movie teaches that being a hero doesn't need super natural powers for the greatest power of all lies in the heart. It is to show real kindness to anybody. It as well teaches one to grow up and to value a family. I am just a bit disappointed with the ending though. Of course, women always like "living happily ever after" ending but I can say the ending is very realistic. An immortal can never be with a mortal.

Before I dash off, I would like to share few lines of Thor and a line from his father Odin in the movie.

Gamenode.com currently entertains me and my sisters online. I was bored from blogging one night that I thought of playing online games. I searched for those games for girls and my search brought me to gamenode.com where thousands of games for boys and girls, young and old are ready to be played for free. I then played a salon game, which helped me took my busy mind off blogging.

The next day, my sisters were kicking me off the computer so they can as well play. Haist! It's cool, they have been playing different games for girls offered at this site for three days now. At least they had learned how to multitask. Lol! They play online games from this site while checking their notifications and doing their thing on Facebook. This site is now our favorite so I had it bookmarked.

These are two of the local movies I badly want to watch. Both trailers are promising, truly teasing me to the deepest of my flesh. Ay? Viewing both trailers, I can say both movies have quality and have something new to offer to the viewers. Not only that, the actors and actresses look like they've given their best in portraying their roles. Of course, I can't tell as of yet on which of the two movies wowed me. I must watch to find out.

My Neighbor's Wife is the so-called the most daring sexy drama of the year brought by Regal Films, a movie about friendship, love and infidelity. This movie stars Dennis Trillo, Jake Cuenca, Lovi Poe and Carla Abellana and is written and directed by Jun Lana. The movie came out in theaters nationwide on September 14, 2011.

No Other Woman trailer:

No Other Woman is an adult-romance film produced by VIVA Films and Star Cinema. It stars Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, and Cristine Reyes. This is yet another movie about infidelity. I've heard this movie has conquered the Filipino movie industry being the highest grossing Filipino film of all time. Wow! This fact has further intensified my yearning to watch the movie. I can't wait!

RIP Steve Jobs

Apple is mourning upon the passing of its CEO and one of its founder Steven Paul Jobs or most known as Steve Jobs. He was born on February 24, 1955 and dies at 56 on October 5, 2011 due to reportedly various illnesses.

Apple iPhone 5, I may say, would have been Steve's last big thing. I had a peek of it over the net yesterday and I was truly wowed (if it really was it) but I heard it didn't appear on the big Apple event. Peeking on the said newest iPhone family made up my mind on what phone would I get in the not so far future. Hopefully! I want one but it's not something I can own in a snap of fingers! I have to work for it. If I have to work day and night just to own SJ's latest innovation, I will. I want not only for what the phone has to offer but also because it is SJ's last big thing.

It was just yesterday when people were murmuring over the net as to why Steve was a "no-show" as well during the big Apple event in California only to find out after that he died. This said iPhone 5 could be a great remembrance of such a tech genius as he is. His death truly is a saddening news most especially to his family, friends, company and workers. Although I haven't got a hold of anything Apple yet, I am saddened upon hearing the news about the co-founder's passing. What will be the next Apple big thing? What will happen to Apple now?

With Steve Jobs' passing, Apple has totally lost not just a founder and CEO, a visionary and creative genius but also a foundation. Rest in peace Steve Jobs.

It's Music Monday.....yesterday but I am catching up.

My share this week is Another Sad Love Song performed by Toni Braxton. I fell in love with the slow rock beat and of course, with Toni Braxton's tough voice the first time I heard of this last 2006. Yes, it was the first time I heard this song. Check out the music video below.

The song tells a very sad story either about a person who couldn't let go yet after the break up or a person who's been missing a loved-one who's currently far away. When my husband left last year of September, I've been listening to this song. It made me teary-eyed every time I heard this song but I still kept listening because at that time I liked the feeling of missing him.

Watch Movies on AWOOH for Free

Many years have already passed since the last time I watched a movie in a movie house. If I am not mistaken, I was with a friend from Manila named Jenny and it was 5 long years ago. I missed the impact of watching a movie in a cinema house with all the full sound effects and the big screen minus the noisy, annoying watchers. There is a lot of new movies already that came out and I want to watch it all. To name the few that I want to watch are Thor, Fast Five, Transformer 3, Captain America and a chick flick Friends With Benefits.

When it comes to local movies produced here in Philippines, I am kind'a left behind the train. The only new movies that I know of are No Other Woman and My Neighbor's Wife. I as well want to watch these two movies in a movie house. Hopefully, I could watch these movies in a movies house in Zamboanga City when I go there to pick my EON card either Wednesday this week or next week, depends on the money.

Anyway, complaining about having no movie house here in the city I reside, a friend (currently in Manila) referred a website where I can watch new movies for free and without the need to download. It's called AWOOH.com. Upon hearing it's free, I rushed to the site immediately and started running the movie Friends with Benefits starring Justin Timberlake. The movie did run but after about 60 or 70 minutes it stopped saying I exceeded the time limit and that I need to wait for 30 minutes for the movie to resume or pay for membership at Megavideo, which was the movie host I chose to watch the movie. Haist, I recalled a saying I once read that goes don't believe in everything that says it's free. I had two options: either pay or endure the feeling like hanging on the cliff. I was in the middle of a very interesting scene for pete's sake!!!

Well, it's not bad to wait. It's just 30 minutes waiting and it's free. If you can endure the wait then give AWOOH a try.

A user who would get this service called computing service from any cloud computing companies doesn't need to put his hands down and be bothered on handling the hassle of setting up the technology as all are provided from computing power to computing infrastructure, applications, business processes and personal collaboration. The service as well handle the delivery of software and all the needed services for cloud computing to work. I am sure you've heard of this song already. This song currently dominated the music charts and is one of the most requested dance beats on radios and in disco houses. Many were hooked on the beat and I am no exemption. I just fully got to listen to the whole music with my high school friends when they visited me the other night. I enjoyed watching them doing the Dougie moves while watching the different versions of the music.
