Singer Lily Allen has landed her own fly on the wall TV show.

After quitting her music career, Lily will now be opening her own designer clothes-hire store, called Lucy in Disguise, with her sister. The TV cameras will be following her journey from singer to retailer.

A source told The Sun: “Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better.”

Cheryl Cole and Charlotte Church could be about to reignite their long running feud, as both are booked for this Friday’s Jonathan Ross chat show.

The feud between the singing stars started when Cheryl accused Charlotte of trying emulate Girls Aloud’s sound on her debut album. Last year Charlotte criticised Cheryl’s performance as a judge on The X Factor saying:

“X Factor needed someone with wit and grit but she couldn’t give an honest answer – let alone charm her way out of the situation.”

On Friday night Charlotte will be interviewed by Jonathan Ross about her new role on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Over The Rainbow’ while Cheryl will be performing her new single ‘Parachute.’ So will Wossy have a fight on his hands?

A show source told The Sun: “It’s not known if Geordie Cheryl plans to mingle with the other guests in the green room.

“We certainly hope she does.”

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has denied reports that he is feuding with fellow panelist Ellen DeGeneres.

The pair were said to be on bad terms after Ellen took exception to Simon’s repeated tardiness. She later moved seats so that she was sitting between Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.

However, speaking on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Cowell insisted:

“There’s a lot of stuff being written about it. We get on fine. We don’t see each other before the show, we do the show. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we disagree, but I did take it quite personally when she moved away from me, yes. No, I’m kidding, I’m kidding.”

American Idol judge Simon Cowell publicly backed contestant Crystal Bowersox on last night’s Jay Leno show.

During a revealing interview in which he admitted that he is engaged and is considering having kids, Cowell was asked if any of this year’s AI contestants stood out for him. He replied:

“I’ll tell you who I like, I like this girl Crystal. I must admit that when I first saw her I described her as a busker and I like the way she handled that. She kind of admitted that that’s what she was but she’s got some confidence now. She was ill and she’s gotten over that. She’s got a great voice, she’s different, I like her!’

Simon Cowell has finally confirmed rumours that he is engaged to marry 36 year old makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy.

During an interview on Jay Leno’s tonight show, when asked if he was betrothed the X Factor boss said:

‘Are they true? Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy.’

After enduring some teasing by Jay, Simon confessed: “I am blushing. I find this very uncomfortable. I was asleep, I think. No, look, I bought her the ring in London.”

The music mogul said he wanted a wedding “in the next 10 years” and added: “I’m kind of torn because I’m a bit too old to have kids, but then again I think it would be important to have a lot of me’s around in the future.”

The couple even had a wee snog in front of the audience….how cute!

Former King Of The Jungle Christopher Biggins will join this year’s Dancing On Ice nationwide tour.

Although Biggins has never competed on the ITV1 show and was a pretty awful dancer on last year’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, he feels he will be able to judge contestants on their entertainment value.

Biggins will sit alongside former show inner Kyran Bracken and TV judges Karen Barber and Nicky Slater on the judging panel when the tour kicks off in Sheffield on April 8.

Contestants skating on the tour will be Hayley Tamaddon, Emily Atack, Mikey Graham, Gary Lucy, previous finalists Clare Buckfield and Chris Fountain and former winners Gaynor Faye and Ray Quinn.

Mikey Graham has defended Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner, saying that the show wouldn’t be as good without him.

After Jason tried to save him from elimination on Sunday night, the Boyzone singer told The Mirror:

“Jason knows when he’s crossed the line, but without his comments, the whole thing wouldn’t be as colourful – as much as people call him the ‘nasty one’, they love to hear what he has to say.”

“The show is what it is and there has to be different colours to make the rainbow, to make it interesting. There has to be drama, there has to be highs and lows, compliments and the opposite. It’s an important ingredient for the show.”

Simon Cowell has admitted that he is supporting his fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole through her marriage breakdown.

Speaking at Sir Elton John’s post-Oscars party in Los Angeles on Sunday night, Cowell revealed that he is ‘there’ for Cheryl and credits her with being a ’strong girl.’

Cowell told the Daily Mail: “She’s a friend and you’re always going to be there for friends.

“She’s going through a hard time, but you know, she’s a strong girl. I’ve been in touch and I’m there for her.”

On whether Cheryl will divorce Ashley Simon said: “You’ve got to do what feels right for you.”

X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary has admitted that he hopes Dannii Minogue will return to the show this year.

Dannii has previously revealed that she won’t be able to judge on the auditions for the series as she will be in Australia giving birth to her first baby. However, she would like to come back for the live rounds of the show.

O’Leary told The Mirror: “She’s one of the reasons the show’s so good so hopefully she’ll be able to be there after she’s had her little one.”

On rumours that he has been trying to launch an American presenting career Dermot admitted;

He commented: “I’ve been out [in LA] looking at work options and having a few meetings. Nothing’s come up yet that would mean moving out here. But I’d love to work Stateside.”

Former page three girl Maddy Ford has claimed that Peter Andre is still obsessed with his ex wife Katie Price. Mady had a three month fling with Peter, at the same time as the Behind Closed Doors singer claimed to be celibate and single.

In an interview with Star magazine she said:

“He seemed like the whole package. I thought it was too good to be true – and it was. I got caught up in the soap opera that is Pete’s life. Any girl should think very carefully before getting involved with him.”

She also admitted that she can understand Katie’s recent fury with Peter saying:

“I can see why she is angry with Pete, as he has been claiming to be something he isn’t. So I can see how she is revelling in it now! I was out with a friend last night, and they know someone from her camp, who said to tell me: ‘Thank you.’ So I guess she is loving all these stories on him!”

When asked if believed Andre was still in love with his ex-wife, she replied: “Yes. Or at least he is still preoccupied with her. He says he doesn’t love her any more, and doesn’t find her attractive. He always used to say he thinks she needs a good scrub in the bath now! But I think she is still in his head.”
