Theresa and Jamie – Engagement Session

Unveiled met up with Theresa and Jamie in Bath, On., a couple of weekends ago to take engagement pictures along the waterfront. Battling a chilling wind and swarms of mayflies was a challenge, but this couple braved the elements with us, making the session look incredibly easy - and from the photos, you’d think they were nice and warm. Theresa shared with me that taking time out for one another is difficult with her 100 hour work weeks. I hope that their engagement session, albeit short, was a good opportunity for them to just breathe and just enjoy each other’s company. We have the honour of photographing their wedding day in October.

“A Little Bit Country” – Ashley and Tim’s J&J

Unveiled has photographed a variety of events in eight years, but married-couple-to-be Ashley and Tim, was the first to ask us to photograph their Jack and Jill. Held on Saturday, April 28th at the Banquet Centre in Belleville, this country hoedown was a success! Guests dressed in the spirit of the theme and participated in the usual J&J games such a ‘Crown and Anchor’ and everyone’s favourite, the ‘Twoonie Toss’. Perhaps the most memorable part of the evening was when Tim decided he would strip out of his plaid shirt baring a girlie green and white halter top. He was then handed a cream pie and, obviously knowing his future wife very well, smushed her face in it. We have the pictures to prove it! Ashley held her ground and returned the stunt. This young couple is fun, generous, and we look forward to getting to know them better at their wedding in Bancroft this August.

Being invited to take pictures of such a photogenic family and willing family is a great blessing! Tricia and Jared’s little girl, Penelope, is just a doll, and her smile takes up her whole face – especially when mommy is in the room! This was a fantastic shoot – so easy – and we are pleased to have made new friends in Kingston. We are looking forward to getting to know these three better.

Unveiled established a business relationship with Laura and Norm a few years back when they hired us to take photos at their company’s Christmas party. Since then, we have had the honour of being invited back into their lives for a variety of photographic reasons, the most recent including a family portrait session. Hank, Laura and Norm’s youngest son is a handsome little man, and he did incredibly well getting his picture taken, as did his older brothers. Thanks again you guys for a great shoot!

Angela and Mark’s Engagement Session

Is there such a thing as being in too much love? We don’t think so – Angela and Mark make being in love easy and comfortable. Clearly each other’s best friend, they know how to ‘be’ with one another. Often Angela and Mark were kissing with no prompts – and laughing. We had no idea what was so funny – but it caused us to join regardless! Unveiled is very much looking forward to celebrating this couple’s wedding day with them May 19th.
