If you don't have a sewing machine using iron on hem tape is easy. It's fast and a temporary quick fix. Great time saver. When you wash your garment it will come out. I had to him the slip under my dress because it kept showing when I put it on.

Fohawk Haircut

I first layered his hair, all over, three inches long.

With a #5 attachment cut half way up sides, and back.

Leave the middle of the back long. Cut the longer hair to blend the shorter hair.

Use the trimmers to clean off excess hair around the ears, beard, sides, and back. I used a #4 clipper attachment to shorten the sides above the ear. Use texture shears on the longer hair.

So handsome!!

Hair Transformation

I had so much fun cutting and coloring Kaylee's hair! Her hair was long, stringy, and so dry. She was ready for a big change.

She wanted a layered bob with blonde on top and red underneath. It turned out gorgeous!

She loves to tease the heck out of it.

Sachet Hearts Pillows

You will need:
your favorite colored material
cardboard heart to trace
needles and tread
pillow stuffing
lavender scent (use any scents you want)
scissors
lace
ribbon
decorative buttons
small tassels
beads and charms (optional)

Instructions:
Cut a heart out of card board about 6x6 or larger
Trace on material; then cut out two heart patterns
Sew edge of heart 1/4 inch in; inside out. Leave a non stitched area about 1 1/2 inch wide so you can stuff it.
After you sew, pull heart through non stitched hole and turn right side out.
Then stuff with stuffing and scented potpourri
Sew up hole
Sew lace around edges of stuffed heart
Sew on buttons, tassels, and or ribbon
Have fun and decorate as you wish!
I make a loop in the back, so you can hang it if you want.

Make them fancy by using beads, and charms! :)

Put them in your lingerie drawer, in your closet to make your clothes smell good; even in your car!! Also give as gifts :)
Cut out any patterns you want, be creative!

We had fun trying to find ingredients, we liked!

We had a blast taking recipes and ideas from Iron Chef Morimoto, from an old magazine I had, food network vol. 3 2010.

Mens tapered fade hair cut

I started with a #4 guard on my clippers and cut off the hair at the temples on both sides and the crown.

Then a #3 guard on both sides 1/2 way up to blend, then a #2 guard 1/4 of the way up to blend.

I cut the top short, one finger width with my shears and cleaned up the edges with my t-edgers.

This cut is very stylish. As the cut grows out it will look good for a long time. My son looks so adorable and definitely styl'in!!

Party Hair Style for Long Hair

Not too formal hair style for long hair. Tina wanted to wear her hair down for a big get together with family and friends. She is a nail technician. At work she always wares her hair up in a pony tail. She wanted to look nice and wear her hair down, so we decided on this style for her.

I used a med size curling iron. I started with sections on the bottom. I sprayed every strand with Joico firm hair spray. This will make it stay in. Your hands can get a little sticky but it works great. Then I back combed the crown for some height . After that I pulled up the front of her hair and crisscross with bobby pins to the crown of her head. So cute!!

This is St. Louis Missouri Botanical Gardens. Wow! What a beautiful place! We paid an $8 admissions fee. It was worth it! Founded in 1859, this is an oasis of great beauty! Here are just a few pictures that I took while I was there.

Locks for Love

What a great gift my client gave! I cut 91/2 inches of his hair, that he had been growing out for almost 2 years. It was grown and cut for one purpose; for locks for love.

I measured it because it needs to be 8 inches long or longer to send it in; then wrapped it in a tight rubber band.

Then I cut it off. I think he lost some weight with all that hair gone!

Now he is going to grow it out, so he can give it away for locks for love again.

Easy Prom Up-Do

This was easy to do!
Jordan went to Prom last night! I did her up do.
I hair sprayed each section with Joico joimist firm hairspray.
Then curled large rotated spiral curls
I loosed her curls with my fingers.
I took a section from the crown and crisscrossed some bobby pins to make a small bump.
I took another section from the top to go over the crown to make a bigger bump.
Then I bobby pinned it together and sprayed more hair spray.

I sure hope she had a great time!

Dark Hair Color

This color and cut is bold and eye catching!

I used 4N Vero color 20 volume peroxide ( roots 15 minutes and pulled through ends another 15 minutes) with a bleach pick-a boo strip on both sides. For the bleach I use color graphics with blue pigment and 22 promoter.

I cut the back in a lot of layers with a razor and kept the front longer with very few layers. Then I used the straightening iron to style it out.

Jordan is going to look great for her graduation!

The Hair Salon

Wow! I have my own stylist room and comfortable shampoo bowl. A nice place to do my services. Granite counter tops and big wood cabinets. It sure is nice to have my own room and privacy. We don't have to hear any other stylist drama because I am the only hairdresser.

In my room I have a picture of Venice Italy. We have relaxing spa music pipped in each room for our clients. This spa was made perfect for a oasis away for this stressful world.

This is another separate room where me and Allison do facials. It has a picture of Rome. There are separate rooms in the spa for the massage therapist, manicures and pedicures, and facials.

Seared steak on sushi? Yes, and it was pretty good!
I also ordered a steamed shrimp roll with cucumber. Yummy!
This had asparagus, red bell pepper, rice, and steak. A full meal!

This is a great way to put beautiful pictures on a wall in your home!

Frame pictures that you like from a magazine or a beautiful Christmas card. These photos are some of my favorite!

I found two matching pictures from a magazine, cut them out and found frames to fit their size.

I have a blue color theme in my bathroom, so these look great in my bathroom! I put them together to make a matching pair. These photos are great!

This is a relaxing fun craft! I have done a lot of paint by number paintings through the years. It can be addictive!

It took me a couple of weeks to finish it.

I got this paint by number at Hobby Lobby.

I had to do some fixing up in the end. The areas to paint can be very small. Good reading glasses help!
