Australia PT. 2

I'm back~~~

So from the title itself, I'm gonna continue talking about other things that I got to encounter in Australia.

I remember that I went to Gold Coast & went into 3 different theme parks there. Each are unique in their own ways in terms of their fun factor.

First off, Movie World is basically a place where all superheroes such as Justice League , Batman, Spiderman showcase their powers; that means we can ride their inspired rides. Like rollercoasters, free fall ride, etc. AWESOME!
However, as you would have known, I was just a 4-year-old girl. So, that's a no-no for me.

Seaworld is mostly a place where you can see & admire aquatic animals through their shows. Those shows are generally entertaining to see :) Definitely loved the dolphins there.

Lastly, is Dreamworld, which I guess is a milder version of Movie World. I just remember having taken a lot of photos with cast members from the parks. My MOST memorable picture was with Batman & Robin, which it pretty awesome. It's as good as the real thing.

#travel tip : Go to all 3 theme parks , all are worth of your time!

I do have a magnet that is a ride called "the Giant Drop" which has a person's face look like this

Well, the only one in my family who did that was my dad [such a daredevil]. I was just looking in horror in how those rides work & still makes people happy or even a wee bit of crazy.

I finally found out when I grew older and tried it myself but that's will be in the future posts.

So, that's the end of my theme parks adventure.

Next up, my food adventures~
The food that are usually eat in Australia are Fish & Chips and a whole lot of instant noodles. It was alright for my family since the food in Australia was not always halal.

#travel tip: be well-prepared for the trip so that you avoid any food shortage.

I did have a experience of digging for gold at one of the gold mines there. We didn't actually found any but we got to buy awesome souvenirs there:)
So it's a win-win situation for us.

Weather was awesome , the scenery was picturesque, so its very nice to visit ! from Sydney, to Gold Coast, Australia has been awesome!

Australia PT. 1

I can't remember exactly how I end up flying to Australia but I guess when my bro and I had holidays, my father wanted to take us on a holiday.

Mainly because he likes to explore the world and also, used up his off-days( Definitely yes)

At first, Australia seems so foreign to me, like "that's a country?", but who can blame for not knowing. I was just a 4-5 year girl living in a tiny country.

Fast-forwarding to the plane, it was like the best time of my life,besides the fear of takeoffs/touchdowns. I got a lot of freebies and it was very entertaining to watch an array of movies & games onboard:)

Arriving to Australia, the feeling is way different from Singapore. First thing was the WEATHER...

It was so COLD at that point of time. Being able to wear layers of clothes was kind of cool to do AT FIRST...[find out more in future posts]

I can't remember which part of Australia I went. It was either Gold Coast or Perth. But I had fun playing snow at that time.

At one of the apartment that we stayed, we were so typically AMAZED by the weather & apartment: both were really nice too admire:)

My bro & I were particularly intrigued by how we are able to feel "air-con" weather without even using the air-con.

It a different experience to feel because when you walk outside for like 5 mins in Singapore, you start to sweat already. So , it exactly not anyone wants to feel {ewww, sticky feeling}

But, who cares, I still love Singapore though[ the food especially]
ALRIGHT! Back to topic, here is the story of my 1st time playing with SNOW...

My father rented some sledge for my bro & I to ride on to go down the ski slope. For those who's wondering what a sledge is , it looks like this:

That was the COOLEST thing that I have ever seen for a 4 year old.

There were a lot of people playing at the ski resort. Might be because it's the holiday season xD

So, for a few times, skiing down was going great!

We were so HAPPY & it was so exhilarating!

# travel tip: TRY using sledges when you have no experience in skiing

However, when I was going for my next slide, my sledge crash upon some kind of rock that makes me fall off my sledge.

I didn't have time to grab my sledge because the slope was so steep. I guess I didn't have any faith with the sledge because instead of it going to same direction as I fall, it decided to slide to the OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

The sledge went to the far end of the slope until I couldn't even see it. There were too many people at that point of time so I guess I have no luck then.

So, in the end I couldn't retrieve the sledge but my bro continue to play with his.

I was sad because I should have taken care of it better, but you know , I was very careless back then.

So my mom was there to comfort me until it was time for us to leave.

I remember having my last glance of the place my sledge went missing. It was a really a bitter sweet moment for me.

ALL IN ALL, being in Australia was a fun experience for me & this would be my most memorable moments for me. In the future posts, I would try to remember more things I did in Australia so just watch out for it. That ain't the last post about Australia yet:)

So, this is my diary of travels.To start of, I began travelling overseas{ besides Malaysia} when I was around 5-6 years old from the little red dot, Singapore.

The first place I went was ... Fascinating Australia!

I thought I was only going to Australia but that was only the start of my whole crazy adventure ^_^
