I received a Doc Johnson Teardrop vibrator from GoodVibrations.com in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give it a positive review.

A while back, I received a Teardrop vibe from GoodVibrations. It's been a while since I got it, and I got swamped with school and student teaching. Now that I'm back, I'm getting caught up on reviews. I was upset to think I'd waited to review something til it was out of stock, but I'm assured it's only temporarily out of stock. So if you click the link and it "doesn't exist," rest assured, it'll be back. I'll even check on it and update this post when it's back in stock.

The package is a smallish plastic box. It would be very easy to gift by taping down the top hanging flap and wrapping the perfectly rectangle box. It's not an odd shape, and it's not flimsy packaging. However, there are no instructions in the package. The outside of the package says the unit is waterproof, uses 2-AAA batteries, is multispeed, made of phthalate-free ABS plastic, and to be sure to close the cap tightly.

This has got to be the tiniest bullet I've seen. The bullet is an inch long, and .75" at its widest. It's really more of a micro egg than a bullet. The controller is also sleek at .75" wide and 4.5" long. There is a 2.5' cord between the controller and the micro egg.

When the cap is closed tightly, the entire unit is waterproof. There is a gasket just inside the battery compartment cap on the controller to keep water from getting in. There are soft plastic gasket-caps on top of the controller and the micro egg to keep water from getting in through the wiring holes.

Two buttons on the controller turn the unit on, off, and adjust speed. Four lights on the controller show what the intensity level is set on.

This is a more intense vibrator than other bullets of comparable size. The first speed is decent, and it works up another three speeds, all of which are clearly separate from each other (some toys boast multiple speeds and you can't tell the difference between one speed and the next). If you've got a really sensitive clit, this is not the toy for you. This is a bit more powerful, and I had no difficulties getting off from it. I am by no means sensitive and need toys that have more power.

This one is a 5 star bullet.

I recently received a bottle of Sensuous Beauty Amber Rose Botanical Body Mist from EdenFantasys in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give it a positive review.

The next product up for review tonight is Sensuous Beauty Amber Rose Botanical Body Mist. Alright, so it's botanical. I like that. The ingredients are as follows: pure imported rose water, brandy, amber, rose otto and pure essential oil of cedarwood. Alright, I like the sound of that, too. Here's hoping I like the smell of that.

I don't. I am picky about my rose scents. This one is one I can definitely live without. The brandy and amber, to me, overpower the rose, making it sickeningly dark-sweet. I do not like this scent. That said, there are a lot of other scents to choose from, one of them I might like! Gypsy Jasmine or Sweet Woods, perhaps.

What I did like is that the scent stays around for a long time. I figured it would wear off after an hour or two, but six hours later I finally just had to go wash myself to get rid of the scent. So, the scent is long-wearing.

It absorbs nicely into the skin without feeling dry or greasy. It really didn't change the feel of my skin. So that is also a good thing.

I like that it comes in a nice, dark brown glass bottle. Not a lot of OTC stuff that I see in drugstore beauty departments come like that. Nice to see that old-school brown glass that my mom and her mom used to have. It's almost medicinal, reminding me of a compounder shop or something.

As far as the pheromones, it had no effect on the hubby that I noticed. He also didn't mention anything other than he wasn't crazy about the scent.

I'm really looking forward to trying some of the other scents, and I hope you will, too.

Pipedream Strapless Strap-On with Anal Stimulator

I recently received a Pipedream Strapless Strap-On with Anal Stimulator from FunWares in exchange for an honest review. I wasn't required to give it a positive review.

I saw that this item was eligible for review and was perplexed by it. I'd seen something very similar to it mentioned in an e-book I was reading on my Kindle app. I had to get it.

I didn't notice that it was made of jelly. Oops! Oh well, I promised to review it, didn't I? So I'm finally reviewing it.

This Strapless Strap-On is from the Pipedream Fetish Fantasy Series. I've had a few accessories from the series that I've liked, and this is the first toy I've gotten from the series.

The design is quite interesting. There's a 7" ribbed shaft, a G-spot stimulator that holds the unit in place, and an anal bead stimulator. It's made of jelly, so be aware that it might smell (mine did a little), it should definitely not be shared with multiple partners, and must be carefully cleaned. Using condoms is highly recommended with jelly products, but not really feasible in this design. Don't share this toy with multiple partners.

It's easy to insert vaginally, and pretty comfortable. It doesn't exactly hit my G-spot like it should, but it's easy to grasp and hold in place. I had issues getting the flexible anal beads into my anus. It's hard for me to reach back there. Maybe with a little partner assistance, it would be a bit easier.

Again, the hubby isn't here for me to practice on, but I gave it several good tugs as if I were jacking it off. Felt pretty good inside, actually, and it didn't come out from being tugged.

For lube, use water-based to be safe. For cleaning, grab your favorite toy cleaner and warm water. Don't throw it in the dishwasher, as it might melt. Don't bleach it as the bleach will absorb into the pores of the jelly and seep out.

Other than the fact that it's jelly, I kinda like it. Maybe if there was a silicone version, I could give it five stars. But due to the fact that it's jelly, it knocks it down to three.

Under the Bed Restraint System from TheAdultToyShoppe.com

Since I have the bed completely stripped, I figured there's no better time to set up the Under the Bed Restraint System by Sportsheets that I received from TheAdultToyShoppe.com. Wouldn't you agree?

Included in the set are four Wrist/Ankle Cuffs made of the same Velboa material in the Velvet Harness, polyester webbing, velcro, metal o-rings, and swivel hooks. They will fit a wide variety of wrist and ankle sizes and are very soft and comfortable. There are four 60" restraint straps that are connected to a 60" strap under the mattress. These straps are made of polyester webbing, metal d- and o-rings, and metal swivel hooks. The 60" connector strap is designed to run vertically down the center of the box springs under the mattress, with two restraint straps connected to the top and two to the bottom using a d-ring. These straps can either come over the top and bottom edge of the mattress looking like a Y connected to an upside down Y (this is how I will be installing them) or over the bottom and top sides of the mattress making an I shape.

The first thing you should know: I have a California King bed with no footboard and a brass post headboard.

Now, open the clamshell package. No knife required :). All the straps are pre-connected and tied neatly into a knot. Simply untie the single knot and lay out the straps. Find the one for the center and work it from one edge of the bed to the center. This is actually fairly easy. If, like me, you want the restraint straps at the top, simply flip them up onto the bed, and you're ready to connect the wrist and ankle cuffs. If you want the restraint straps to go to the side of the bed, just run them under the edge of the mattress and around to the side, then flip them up onto the bed and connect the cuffs. You're ready to go!

The straps all stay in place well without disconnecting. In the I shape, it would be next to impossible to let yourself out. In the Y-shape, you could get yourself out if you needed to. The cuffs don't dig into my wrists or ankles, so that's a big plus.

As far as concealment is concerned, simply tuck the restraint straps under the mattress if you need to hide it. Very easy to hide!

Velvet Harness from Good Vibes

I've been away from reviewing for quite a while. I hate that. Things got so busy at the end of August and didn't stop til a few days ago. I've finally got some similance of internet at home, only to have my trusty camera quit on me. Joy! Hubby's going to get me a new battery; according to what I found online about the problem, that should fix it.

Today is the day after Christmas. All the batteries I had stashed have been confiscated for the kid's toys. So, to start with my catching up, I'm working on the things that don't need batteries or that came with their own batteries.

Starting with the Velvet Harness from GoodVibes.

The Velvet Harness from Good Vibes is actually the Sportsheets Vibrating Velvet Strap-On. Didn't know if you knew, but Sportsheets is one of my favorite companies. They tend to make good quality higher end bedroom supplies. I've got a couple in my current to-do pile. My particular model came in purple and black, but is available in all black from Good Vibes.

This is part of the Eco-rotic collection over at Good Vibes. The packaging is recyclable, it's made in the USA, and there are no animal products.

The four-way adjustable straps are made of polyester webbing and fit up to 60" hips. The front panel is made of a velvety material called Velboa and has a small pocket that holds an included mini bullet vibe (which only has one speed, is waterproof, and stopped working properly after 10 minutes. Luckily, I have a stash of bullets that easily replace this one! This one has an issue with the button staying depressed. If you hold it, it's fine, but it doesn't stay on it's own.) The front panel also has snap-straps that hold one of the three included nitrile o-rings used to hold a dildo in the harness. One is approx 1.5", one is approx 1.75", and the other is 2". You should be able to fit any dildo with a base into this harness.

Now, on to how it fits.

Once I untangled the wadded up straps and saw which ones went where, it was really easy to let the straps out and slip into the right places. It's a little too easy to let out, actually, as the ends of the strap aren't hemmed under to keep it from running out of the ladder locks. I'll definitely be getting out some liquid stitch and remedying that before the next time. One strap goes around the waist with ladder locks on each side of the hips. Two other straps go one behind each leg, just under the buttocks, with a ladder lock on each side.

The pocket on the front panel does indeed put the bullet in a good spot. And the harness is really comfy too. I don't have a problem with it rubbing as I'm running around in it, and it's not loosening itself and getting too big. Too bad hubby's not home tonight or I'd be trying to use it with him.

My First Mate is quite snug in the harness. It's nice and upright, perfect for nailing somebody. Just nobody here, sadly. But it's fun to run around in when I'm home alone! It doesn't come out when I yank on it, either, so the o-ring is holding nicely in place. I can definitely see that this is going to be a repeat thing. I'm thinking the Your Highness is going to be making some appearances here.

Overall, I give this a 4 star rating. My only issue is that the bullet is not quite right. But, if you're like me, it's an easy fix. I guess I could warranty it out, but why do that when I have others?

I recently received a Bella in Bloom "Papillon" cosmetics set from EdenFantasys in exchange for an honest review. I wasn't required to give it a positive review.

As a makeup consultant, I'm picky about the colors I use on my face. I can't go out looking like I got smacked by the ugly stick! I saw these little Bella in Bloom sets go up for review on EF, and I checked out the available colors. I saw the sets came in "Tropique," (tropic/tropical) comprised of bronzes and peaches, "Belle Jardin," (beautiful gardin) in pinks and blush shades, and finally "Papillon," (butterfly) in berries/plums/pinks. There are two blush/bronzers, an eyeshadow quad, and three lip glosses in each set. These are all enclosed in a cardboard compact with a mirror and applicators.

I have pretty pale skin (Mary Kay Ivory 1 in Mineral Foundation), and use plum shadows and berry lips. I have hazel-green eyes, full lips, and rich brown hair. I felt like the "Papillon" set would go well with my skin tone. I applied my foundation as usual, then used the "Papillon" set as I would my regular color products. I was pleased to say they turned out beautifully! I preferred the more brown shade of lip gloss in the middle, but the others are pretty as well.

I have to say, I have sensitive skin and had no reaction to this makeup. The packaging is so cute, it would make a perfect stocking stuffer. And no one would ever know where it came from!

So very thankful

A lot has been going on lately. I have to say, I'm very thankful for all of it, even if it's been stressful.

I've been student teaching, obviously. There's been so much more involved with that than I ever realized there would be. I've been moved out of my own home in order to share a car with the Hubby. Hubby moved to his parents' house some time earlier this year to be closer to his work due to rising gas prices and the distance from our home to his work. The Kiddo has been spending the week with my mother so that I didn't have to pay a babysitter. I got blindsided with the student teaching. I expected to be starting student teaching now, not finishing it. Not complaining, it just jumped up on me.

I haven't been able to devote the time to testing (lack of privacy) or writing (again, lack of privacy) that I need to get all my articles and reviews done. Needless to say, my blog and writing for EdenCafe and PleasureMySpot have been neglected.

I have only a few days left of student teaching, and will be back home and back to blogging full-time.

I miss you guys so much. I really do.

The L'Amour Premium Silicone Massager - Seduction is made from high quality, silky smooth silicone material and features dual motors; one in the shaft, one in the simulator tip. The cap is made of ABS plastic.

The shaft measures 5" by 1.5", the tip measures 2.25" by .75". The unit weighs 5.3 ounces. The Seduction is powered by 2 AAA batteries.

When I asked the Secretary how she felt about reviewing the toy for me, she was a little afraid. Her hubby is a little...how shall we say...close-minded when it comes to bringing toys into the bedroom. I won him over with the "boo-boo cream" sales pitch, though. She went on to test it for me, and here's how she felt about it.

"My initial impression was that this would be a really cool toy. I mean, look at it. It just looks cool. I wasn't intimidated by it, but you know how J feels about toys. It's waterproof, and I haven't submerged it, but I did take it in the shower and it did just fine. Some of the vibrations are really intense. There are seven different vibrating patterns, two of which are a little hard to tell apart. A big factor, the external simulator DOES reach the clit while the shaft is inserted. The controls are very easy to use, but it's not too easy to turn the unit off during use (which is a very good thing!). I think this toy is better suited for beginners, rather than advanced users, as it is very simple but effective. Anyone can use it, though. The packaging is not discreet at all, as you can see the toy through the package. It could be giftable and wrapped relatively easily. I wouldn't want to travel with this toy."

Friendguy was awesome in assisting in the reviewing of the Teagan Presley Fleshlight from FunWares. He's single, so there's no worry of offending anyone. He was more apt to take it home to review since it is a pretty discreet toy and didn't worry much about his mom seeing it and asking a lot of questions.

I, however, did send a long list of questions for him to answer after he'd had time to test it.

1)What was your first impression? "I thought it was funny-lookin'." (I will admit, it is pretty funny looking. Big, white, shiny, flashlight thingy that opens up to house a fleshy faux-gina.)

2) Was it easy to figure out? "Pointy end goes into hole." Fair enough, it's not nearly as difficult to figure out as some things I've gotten ahold of. No batteries necessary, nothing to prime or plug in. I guess "plug & play" is pretty accurate. Just make sure you take the pipe out that keeps the tunnel from sticking together during shipping.

3) Was it accommodating? "Quite accommodating, thank you." It's very stretchy. I was fascinated when I first played with it.

4) Is it geared towards small, average, or well-endowed users? "Average." Good to know. If you're more endowed, it might not fit you very well. If you're smaller, you may feel like you're screwing the Grand Canyon.

5) What about lube? "Anything water-based is what the instructions call for. All others dry out too quickly and, from experience, can cause damage." He told me that he'd used a different lube prior to really reading the instructions. Poor thing...You gotta be careful!

6) Was it easy to clean? "Very easy to clean, just not so much on spaces available to let it dry thoroughly." It's a bulky toy. Unless you have a lot of bathroom counter space, it could be difficult to leave it laying out to dry thoroughly. I'm told that simply using water is sufficient. Toy cleaners that contain alcohol could dry it out and lead to, essentially, dry rotting. It's also a good idea to coat it with a light dusting of corn starch to keep it from sticking together.

7) What was your favorite feature? "How close to real it felt." I know it looks pretty real. I'm not experienced in how real it feels. It felt pretty neat squishing it when it first came in, though.

8) Do you still use it, or is it kinda "blah?" Anything else interesting? "I'd much rather have the real thing but its a decent option B." I can't blame him. It's not a replacement for a woman and companionship. But when there's nobody, or that somebody is away, it's a good option.

The unit is 10" long with a usable depth of 7 3/4" and up to 2" wide. It weighs roughly a pound and a half, and is made of Fleshlight's hypoallergenic SuperSkin material. It is also latex-free and phthalate-free.

I only have a few days left of student teaching. I'm going to miss my kids, but I'm happy to get back into my routine of reviewing and spending time with my family. I got to go spend the past week with my mother and son, and came back to the inlaws' house today to get ready for the last few days of student teaching and turning in homework. I miss you guys dearly!

I promise, I haven't just dropped off the face of the earth permanently. I do have a backlog of reviews to get done and am ending up bringing in some testers to get it done. I've got to train my testers on giving great details rather than just "i really liked it. it was easy to use." I'm looking forward to getting this back going.

This month's HomeLife magazine was lying on the pew in front of where I sit at church. I always enjoy flipping through it as I always find nuggets of inspiration.

Hubby and I have been discussing balancing work/school and marriage for some time. I found the last part of this article "Balance Work and Marriage" by Dr. Gary Chapman very interesting. I had to share it with you guys.

I recently received the Pulse from Liberator in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give it a positive review.

I was so excited when my Liberator Pulse came the other day. I couldn't wait to test it. Matter of fact, I tested it the night it came. I've just now gotten around to getting the review written.

Love that I can use any of my toys with it (I've even managed to use the Hitachi with it)
Love that it can be flipped over to use as a bit of a ramp (But I'm still hoping to add a ramp to the collection!)
Love that it holds up under my weight (The champagne foam is possibly the sturdiest "pillow stuffing" I've ever interacted with)
Love the rocking motion (Genius!)
Love that it's easy to clean by zipping off the cover and throwing it in the washer.
Love that it stores so easily in the closet shelf, out of sight but easy to get to.

I can't honestly find any cons for this!

When the package first arrived, I was surprised at the size of the box it came in. Although the packaging was very discreet, it was very bulky and definitely raised questions from my mother-in-law. I simply told her it was "a big pillow so I can be comfy." Hey, I didn't lie, did I?

Next, there was plastic and tissue paper surrounding the Pulse. I didn't get a picture before I threw the paper away.

As soon as I got the Pulse out of the box and the plastic, it was time to start testing. I had been patiently awaiting the arrival of my item from Liberator without knowing exactly which I would receive first. I'd given them a list of several I was interested in and color preferences, but left the final judgement up to them.

I started the testing by trying to decide which of my toys would be the lucky ones to go first. Honestly, the "First Mate" and my Hitachi are the top picks any day of the week, so I had to see how well they all played together. What happened next was purely awesome.

The First Mate sits perfectly with its base in the center opening. I love how I'm no longer reliant on using my hands during masturbation (to hold a dildo and move it in and out) or on the hubby to do the same for me. I can concentrate on that sweet, rocking rhythm and f*ck the First Mate to my little heart's content! This makes me one happy individual.

Although I could use my High Intensity Bullet in one of the pockets and it line up nicely with my clit, I opted to wedge the Hitachi between myself and the Pulse. It worked wonderfully.

The covering of the Pulse is easy to unzip and slip off and throw into the washer. I always wash new stuff in cold water, by itself, and stretch out in the bathroom to dry. I had absolutely no issues with washing the cover this way. I don't recommend washing this material with towels as it would probably pick up all the little fuzzy things.

The Pulse stores nicely in a shelf in the closet. That way, it's out of sight but readily accessible. It isn't so bulky that it's hard to store at all. Those with higher beds could probably even slide it under the bed.

I really like my Pulse! I'm so glad I asked to become a Liberator reviewer as this has really changed the way I can get creative and interact with my toys.

Fun Factory Smartballs Teneo Uno from Babeland

I recently received a Teneo Uno from Babeland in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give it a positive review.

I've reviewed the Smartballs Teneo Duo by Fun Factory before. The more I used them the more I thought "Maybe two of them is too much right now?" (They're a bit bigger than the kegel balls I'd used before). When I saw this one up for review, I really wanted to try it.

The only difference in the Uno and the Duo is that there is one ball rather than two. They are still made of the same superior-grade body-safe silicone that Fun Factory is famous for.

The Uno is very easy to insert, even without lube if you're a damp-natured person. If you need lube, be sure not to use silicone as that will break down the material of the Smartballs. The ball itself measures approximately an inch and an eighth wide and an inch and a half long, with a silicone loop six inches in circumference (or three inches long).

The Teneo Uno I received is a lovely combination of Babeland's signature pink and turquoise colors. This is one of the most bright toys in the box.

The vibration of the moving ball inside the Teneo Uno isn't heard outside of the body. At least, hubby couldn't hear it when I was shakin' my rump right next to him. It seems to me that the single ball is more comfortable than the double balls. I think this is going to be my new go-to for kegel assistance.

I give the Teneo Uno FIVE stars!

Pipedream Massaging Hairbrush from FunWares

I recently received a Pipedream Vibrating Hairbrush from FunWares in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give it a positive review.

Oftentimes, I receive products I dare not let my toddler see. This Vibrating Hairbrush, however, he is fascinated with, and he loves to brush everyone's hair with it. When I was younger, I had a brush that vibrated and it really helped to get the tangles out of my coarse hair. When I saw this was up for review, I had to try it and see if it worked as well.

I was pleased to see that the packaging is very tasteful and discreet. There is a picture of an attractive woman with long blonde hair on the front and back of the box. There is no mention of masturbation on the box (and I'm not sure if this product is really designed for that as the vibrations are not what I consider intense enough for that). There are bumps on the back of the brush that transfer the vibrations well for a soothing neck and scalp massage. The vibrations transfer well through the soft, plastic-tipped bristles and do, indeed, assist in getting out tangles without pulling hair uncomfortably.

The batteries are very easy to install. There are two speeds of vibration, neither of which are too intense for soothing massage, but not intense enough for sexual satisfaction.

For what it is, I give the Pipedream Vibrating Hairbrush 5 stars.

Dear followers, friends, and companies I review for. I have not abandoned you, I promise. I have touched base with a few of you, but not as many or as often as I should have. I am sitting down right now to sort items I need to review, to message people I have had test products for me in my swamped-ness, and to organize my thoughts. I am taking this week and part of next week to catch up on posting my reviews. Most of the items have been tested, I just need to get the reviews up. I am sincerely sorry if it seems like I just dropped off the face of the earth.

I never realized that on August 22, 2011, I would become so busy I can't even see straight. I began my student teaching on August 23, with only about 24 hours notice that I would start the next day. My life has been a bit of a whirlwind to say the least. I never anticipated how much work I would do outside of the actual teaching. I figured I'd go to school, do my thing, get stuff done during planning periods, and come home and do my regular WAHM-type work. Needless to say, that didn't happen!

I'm loving all 750 of my kids (yes, I get to see everybody in the whole school!) and everything that goes along with it, I just never envisioned doing that and all the homework to go with it. My eyes have really been opened. And to think, this is much like what it will be like if I go for my Master's while I am teaching. I may take a couple years to work then go for my Master's. We'll see how things go.

I'm looking forward to hopping back on the review train. I really miss you guys and the camaraderie of the review world. I miss being up late at night with you guys. I'm seriously asleep by 10pm now that I have to be up by 6:30 and out the door by 7:00.

Roughly six more weeks and I will be done and back to you guys more regularly. If you're the praying type, some prayers would be appreciated for my continued success in student teaching, and for my health and sanity!
