]]> Was playing around and did another Illustration for the wall I mentioned in my last post. The reason this popped into my head besides being just delicious is that I despise anything cheesy, cliche, etc… in a frame. So instead I decided I would put something that is literally “cheesy”. ]]> Yesterday I stared at a wall with freshly hung frames begging for some sort of creativity. So I did what any designer should do in this situation and began playing around on my computer. My wife Whitney had mentioned something about wanting a cute pig illustration, and so a pig she shall have.

So without putting to much thought into the process I just began to draw. I knew the style I wanted and so I just started putting some lines down. This is 100% digitally done, and for those who are curious it was drawn in Illustrator and then colored in Photoshop. I have really enjoyed doing things in this style this year, and to see some other styles I enjoy click here

So without further adieu I present to you the final result…

This is just in a little silver frame now on our wall, printed on a nice recycled tannish paper. I have about 8 more frames and 2 or 3 more blank walls so expect more soon! If you are interested in knowing more about how I did this as a designer or just curious let me know.

]]> Well, I have been down this road before. Once upon a time I created a new site, had it all setup to blog and I cashed in a total of…wait for it… 2 POSTS! I can’t make any promises that this will be much better, but with this post I am already half way there so I like my chances. So first off let me say, welcome to those of you who decided to check out the new site. I have added lots of work as well as updated the overall design of the site. It is funny how as a web designer the last website I work on is my own. You would think it would be so easy for me to make changes to my site, yet it was completely out dated and lacking. Hopefully this site is a better example of who I am as a designer.
