<p>On April 9, 2026, the Upper Allen Police Department investigated a report of a domestic violence assault that occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Melbourne Lane. It was determined that Steadman Phillips assaulted a family member, causing injury. Phillips was arrested on April 9 and transported to Cumberland County Prison. A preliminary hearing was held on May 7th, and the charges were waived to Cumberland County Court.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at approximately 6:08 p.m., the Upper Allen Police responded to a residence in the 500 block of East Winding Hill Road for a reported domestic disturbance. An investigation determined that Lyall Lehman assaulted a family member, causing bodily injury. Lehman was subsequently arrested and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled at a later date.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, April 29 at 9:26 pm, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a report of a crash. The driver of the pictured Tesla was traveling north on Route 15 when a vehicle behind them struck the Tesla at a high rate of speed, causing the driver to lose control and crash. The striking vehicle left the scene without providing information or rendering aid.  The striking vehicle was last seen traveling north on Route 15. The driver of the Tesla was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.</p>
<p>The striking vehicle is believed to be a 1998 to 2002 Honda sedan with damage to the front driver side of the vehicle.</p>
<p>Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Lower Allen EMS.</p>

<p>On Monday, April 13, 2026, at 1:22 AM, the Upper Allen Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1000 block of Lancaster Boulevard. It was reported that a white 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan was stolen from the parking lot outside of the victim&#8217;s residence. On that same day at 8:17 AM, Upper Allen Police received another report from the 600 block of Geneva Drive that a vehicle had been entered and rummaged through overnight. It is believed that the suspects were in this area between midnight and 1:30 AM. </p>

<p>On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at approximately 10:27 PM, The Upper Allen Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a summary violation. During the traffic stop, it was determined that the front seat passenger, Matthew Wertz, was in violation of a Protection From Abuse order while riding with the protected party. Wertz was taken into custody and transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing. A hearing will be scheduled at a later date. </p>
