The investigation determined that a juvenile was unlawfully operating the E-Bike on the roadway and pulled into the path of oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision. Fortunately, the juvenile sustained only minor injuries.

This incident serves as an important reminder that the lawful operation of E-Bikes is subject to specific regulations. To help keep our community safe, we encourage residents to review the proper usage and age requirements for these cycles.
