<p>On September 2, 2025, Upper Allen Police received a report of a theft in which a check had been stolen from the mail and the victim’s personal information had been compromised. An investigation confirmed that the victim’s identity had been compromised and that Bracero had used the victim’s identity to cash fraudulent USPS money orders at a local bank branch.</p>
<p>In February 2026, an arrest warrant was obtained for Bracero. On May 7, 2026, Bracero was apprehended with assistance from the New York City Police Department. Bracero has been extradited to Pennsylvania and is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing, which will be scheduled at a later date.</p>

<p>On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 10:11 AM, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to US Route 15 South at mile marker 36.0 for a report of a single vehicle crash. It was determined that the operator had struck the center highway barrier which caused her tire to tear apart. Due to the damage, the vehicle became disabled on the shoulder of the highway. The operator sustained an injury and was transported by EMS to a local hospital. The Upper Allen Township Police were assisted on scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS. </p>

<p>On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at approximately 5:49 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of East Lisburn Road and McCormick Road for a reported crash between a Kia Sportage and Honda CRV. An investigation determined that the operator of the Kia Sportage was driving too fast for the wet road conditions and lost control of his vehicle and struck the Honda CRV in the opposite lane. The operator of the Honda CRV was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, and Life Lion EMS.</p>

<p>On Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:53 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash at the intersection of Lancaster Boulevard and Wilson Road.  Deaundrey Johnson was found to be the operator of a vehicle that rear-ended another vehicle. The investigation uncovered approximately one pound of marijuana in Johnson&#8217;s vehicle.  Johnson was arrested at the scene for the above offenses and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment.</p>

<p>On Friday, May 8th, 2026 Upper Allen Police received a report of a theft of multiple DeWalt brand power tools from a construction site in the area of the 1200 block of E. Lisburn Road. Sometime between 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 7th, and 8:00 AM on Friday, May 8th, items were stolen from a locked trailer at a construction site in the area. Over 30 DeWalt brand power tools and batteries were stolen from the site.  All of the items have identifying markings of &#8220;QNC#3&#8221; or similar on them.  The stolen tools consist of cordless impact drivers, drills, and several saws (like the one pictured).</p>

<p>On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a local business for a report of retail theft. The investigation determined that Lori Drayer concealed merchandise and left the business without paying. An arrest warrant was subsequently obtained.</p>
<p>On Friday, May 15, 2026, Drayer was apprehended by the York County Sherriff&#8217;s Office on the outstanding warrant. Upper Allen Police transported Drayer to Cumberland County where she was processed and arraigned on the charges. A preliminary hearing will be held on a later date.</p>

<p>On Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 3:29 pm, the Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a report of a hit and run crash at a local business. The pictured male was driving a white SUV who backed into another vehicle causing damage to the parked vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene without providing information. As the vehicle was leaving, a witness attempted to stop the striking vehicle and the driver of the vehicle said that he was turning around. The driver did not turn around and left the scene. The striking vehicle was last seen traveling north on Gettysburg Pike. The vehicle may have damage to the rear driver&#8217;s side bumper.</p>

<p>On April 9, 2026, the Upper Allen Police Department investigated a report of a domestic violence assault that occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Melbourne Lane. It was determined that Steadman Phillips assaulted a family member, causing injury. Phillips was arrested on April 9 and transported to Cumberland County Prison. A preliminary hearing was held on May 7th, and the charges were waived to Cumberland County Court.</p>
