Trata-se da maior formação já encontrada, bem acima do número anterior, de pouco mais de 500 planetas extrassolares.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
O novo sistema solar foi nomeado pela NASA de&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Kepler-11&lt;/strong&gt;, em homenagem ao telescópio Kepler, que ajudou na descoberta. Durante coletiva de imprensa, o especialista do Ames Research Center, William Borucki, informou que, nos próximos meses, os candidatos a planetas serão confirmados, ou não, como tal.&lt;br /&gt;

No novo sistema, a estrela na qual os planetas giram em torno é muito parecida com o Sol, mas cinco dos planetas estão posicionados a uma distância equivalente à de Mercúrio e Vênus em nosso sistema solar, ou seja, são extremamente próximos uns dos outros. Além disso, os planetas são bem pequenos em relação a outros descobertos anteriormente, possuem baixa massa e densidade. Você consegue perceber os círculosde poeira espacial mais apagados, ao redor da NGC 4911? Eles são sinais de que a bela galáxia em espiralestá sendo esticada. A 4911 está em meio a um aglomerado de outras galáxias, conhecido como Aglomerado Coma, e está sendo puxada por suas vizinhas. Provavelmente ela irá acabar como elas: amarelada e elíptica, perdendo sua camada de poeira espacial, gás e suas “galáxias satélites” (galáxias que se comportam como nossa Lua, orbitando um corpo com maior campo gravitacional). Mas não tema – o processo está só no início e irá demorar alguns milhares de anos até estar completa.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Apelidado de Augmented City, o projeto de Matsuda tenta estabelecer uma relação entre espaço físico e informação. De acordo com o idealizador, a interface deve abandonar a característica apenas virtual da realidade aumentada para trazer interação com o mundo físico. Em seu site oficial, Matsuda divulga vídeo demonstrativo da Augmented City. Nas imagens são retratados dois personagens que interagem com a plataforma virtual de maneira táctil. A preocupação, no entanto, não é apenas com a evolução da tecnologia por si só. O arquiteto deixa claro que se trata de uma relação entre informação e espaço, que futuramente poderá implicar em altereções na arquitetura urbana. O vídeo demonstrativo abaixo faz parte do projeto final de mestrado de Matsuda, que aborda as consequências sociais e estruturais das novas mídias e da realidade aumentada&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;

Em vez da tradicional carreta, onde a carga é levada, o novo veículo possui um sistema que modifica seu tamanho de acordo com a quantidade de material armazenado. Com isso, o caminhão de 7,5 metros poderia chegar aos 20 m de acordo com aquilo que carrega. Essa variação seria feita graças à existência de uma membrana flexível em toda a estrutura, auxiliada por um sistema de cabos e vigas laterais que controlam essa movimentação.Outro elemento do caminhão tradicional que deve dar adeus com o Flex Futurum é a grande quantidade de fumaça, gerada principalmente pela queima de óleo diesel. O veículo-conceito possui motores elétricos alimentados de células de hidrogênio. Isso resultaria em um transporte de cargas livre da emissão de poluentes, além de ter um rendimento muito maior do que os caminhões atuais. Seria uma troca vantajosa para todos os lados já que, além de não expelir fumaça, o motor existente no Flex Futurum apresenta maior autonomia de combustível, necessitando ser reabastecido com menos frequência.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
