Hash hails from Hutchinson MN where we knew him as Jeff…which wasn’t really his name either…. apparently he’s gone by an alias his entire life.  Now…would’t you like to see that juvie record!

Hash brings a great sense of humor (um…clearly) and a stage presence that’s so big he’s forced to leap from the stage during the show!

Life went on and the jock became a pro athlete, the shy kid became a school teacher on a crusade to help shy kids emerge and live full lives and the nerd became a high tech entrepreneur.  But by night’they all played in rock bands.

Fast forward to their 2011 class reunion where they came together and rocked the class all night long. The magic on stage was palpable and the next thing you know’they decided to continue playing together as Jenn’s band Urban Fiction.  But you never know who will join us on stage!  If we’re in the Bay Area you can be sure to find Desmonde in the mix.

Now, can you guess who is the jock, the shy one and the nerd ‘ Bear, Hash or Jenn?

The morning after Denise ‘D Dog passed I was sitting, catatonic, on the back step.  The 2 crows flew down the hill, side by side, in formation. They landed simultaneously about 12 feet from me and about eye level with me. Then they made a noise I had never heard before nor since. It was a lower pitched, gutteral clicking sound. I knew in an instant that they knew Miss Denise was gone and that they were expressing themselves.

They haven’t been back. The plums and pears are ripe and ready, but the crows aren’t here.  Turns out, they weren’t snicky snacking…they were Denise’s friends.

I’ve hung out at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley recently and it’s going to be yummy to record there!  Journey was just there, so we’re in good company.

Back to the pick axe…Look for the album in late 2010!  (Oh and here’s a snap from last week’s photo shoot with Lori Fuller…Check out Facebook for more from this shoot).

A group of costumed characters (age 40ish) were walking ahead of me (attending WonderCon at the Moscone Center).  “…Frankenstein was running with his monster and the towns people were chasing them and Frankenstein‘s higher self says…”  (I’m sorry I missed the rest of the sentence, but I was tripping on that last bit!
