Pathfinder Oyabun Ono is an urban vinyl designed by Ashley Wood and this urban toys is manufactured by the famous threeA. They used the tomorrow king platform for this twelve inch action figure and released it in 2011.

Pathfinder Oyabun ono is created using vinyl and they released it as the Popbot series. The appearance of Pathfinder Ono is like a present day warrior. He is wearing a black T shirt, a brown hoodie jacket, a brown pants and a pair of sneaker. He also carried two sharp katana on his hand while the sheaths are hanging on his waist.

The design of this designer figure is so sharp and the monotone color add a dramatic effect. This toy is definitely a representation of today urban toys culture. The contemporary design gives a strong character as a present day pop culture.

Ortho is an urban toys designed by Coro, this mini figure is manufactured by Ningyoushi. They released Ortho back in 2006 as the Getsmall SF mini series.

I think Ortho is a hybrid creature, the shape and design looks like an octopus, spider and insect merged together. The final look gave me a creepy creature looks with cool combination of colors.

The sharp yellow teeth add a scary effect on this designer figure, while the rest of the head and eight tentacles are painted in red just like an octopus. The body is painted in green and brown just like an insect body.

If you are a fan of Japanese robot animation you probably know this cool robot (mecha) called the EVA 00. Medicom Toy is the manufacturer of this cool urban toys, this time they released this mini figure as the Be@rbrick (bearbrick) series 15.

SF Evangelion 00 Be@rbrick inspirations comes from the famous anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. They take one of the robot design from this Japanese animation. The robot was called EVA 00, there are two kind of EVA 00, the blue one is the prototype and the yellow one is the production model.

Medicom make this designer figure from the design of EVA 00 the production model and released in 2007. This urban vinyl has three inch height and cool graphic, they used yellow, red, gray, black and white as the main palette. The colors are exactly the same as the original EVA 00 from the animation movie but they create it in a form of Be@rbrick.

Simone Legno from Tokidoki is the artist behind the design of Ciaociao and this urban toys is sculpted by Brin Berliner. Strangeco is the manufacturer of this pinky figure and they released it in 2007.

They used vinyl as the material of this designer toy and although Ciaociao is a skeleton but she looks adorable in a pink outfit. Ciaociao has a skeleton face with a crack on the forehead that made me think of Harry Potter.

Ciaociao is wearing a pink hoodie and it has her name printed on the clothes. The outfit is painted in baby pink while the arms and legs is painted with darker shade of pink color. Ciaociao is a cute skeleton in a pink outfit that probably will attract female urban toys collector out there.

Baby Eating Crocodile is an eccentric and unique toys, it has an interesting shape and a fun concept. The crocodile has a cubism shape and covered mostly with a blue paint. The crocodile belly has an adorable graphic as if the crocodile has eaten two babies earlier.

Spectrum Cup is designed by Matt Jones from the famous Lunartik and this urban toys is manufactured by Lunartik Ltd. This mini figure is released in 2011 as the Spectrum Cup series. They are using Lunartik In A Cup of Tea as the basic platform of this collector figure.

They only produced 40 piece of Spectrum Cup, so it will be hard to obtain this colorful figure. Spectrum Cup has two inch height and this toy is made from vinyl material. This urban vinyl is using orange as the basic color.

Spectrum Cup has the same shape as any other Lunartik In A Cup of Tea platform. It looks like a tiny little robot hiding inside a cup. The unique features of this designer figure is it’s color you could see the interesting splash of color as if someone throw a paint into this cute little figure.

We have reviewed about Kuma Skelve Frost edition in our previous post and now we would like to introduced you to another great urban toys designed by Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters. Kuma Skelve specter edition is also manufactured by Circus Posterus and this designer toy has nine inch height.

Kuma Skelve the specter version is released also in 2011 and they are using clear resin as the main material. This limited figure is also based on the Skelve platform and they only make thirty pieces of this collector figure.

This urban toy has a creepy look with a clear body, it looks like a creepy ghost wearing a scary mask. If you like a creepy creature toy this item will be a valuable item for you, but it will be hard to get this Kuma Skelve specter edition.

Erick Scarecrow is the artist behind the creation of Medusa the Brooklyn Boa version. This urban toys are released in 2010 and they only produced 200 piece of this cool designer toy. Medusa has 10 inch height and made of vinyl.

The artist is using black white and some neon color to paint this collector figure and the basic shape is based on the Medusa platform. The snakes on the hair look like a cable and the boots has a futuristic design.

The neon color paint add a futuristic touch to this urban vinyl, just look at the neon blue face, neon green paint on the boots and snakes. Bubblegut is an urban toy designed by Chris Ryniak and manufactured by Circus Posterus. After we reviewed Crumbeater we couldn’t resist to take a peek at Bubblegut. Bubblegut is also released in 2011 the same year as Crumbeater.

They only produced 66 pieces of this designer toy and they used resin as the material. Bubblegut has six inch height and painted in red. Bubblegut is also a cute and creepy monster, it has big shiny black eyes and a big round belly.

The details on the skin is so great just look at those bumps, they painted the skin with a gradation of red paints. Just look at those creepy skins it’s looks like a veins and blood. Bubblegut is adorable and creepy at the same time.

Jeff Pidgeon is the artist behind the creation of Happy Beaver, this urban toy is sculpted by Vin Teng. This designer toys is another self produced toy and we hope they would mass produced this toy soon. They used Vinyl as the main material of Happy Beaver and they released it in 2007.

This Urban vinyl has six inch height and painted with bright orange color. Happy Beaver has a cute shape and appearance that gives us a simple but great impression. I loved the detail on the gray tail and two large teeth. Two tiny ears and feet make this collector figure so adorable and who can resist those two big round eyes.

Crumbeater The Cute And Creepy Monster

Crumbeater is an urban toy designed by Chris Ryniak and this adorable designer toy is manufactured by Circus Posterus. They released this two inch figure in 2011 and they used resin as Crumbeater material. Only 100 pieces of Crumbeater is produced by Circus Posterus and this collector toys is painted in blue.

If you take a look closely at Crumbeater it will make you think about little Jabba The Hut. Crumbeater has a cute appearance just look at those big shiny black round eyes. LEGO Minifigures Series 5

Yeah finally LEGO releasing the LEGO minifigures series 5, this is the fifth mini figures produced by LEGO. This collectable figure is going to be released in 2011, if you are a LEGO minifigures collector this series is another great one to collect.

LEGO Minifigures series 5 includes Lumberjack, Dwarf, Ancient Egyptian Woman, Male Snowboarder, Eskimo, Boxer, Fitness Instructor, Murmillo, Cavewoman, Gangster, Small Clown, Detective, Grenadier Guard, University Graduate, Dinosaur Suit Man and Zookeeper. The official name maybe different from what I mention because LEGO haven’t officially released this series yet.

Some online store already open a preorder for this urban toys, if you are lucky you could collect all 16 of the mini figures in this series. A little tips of guessing your LEGO mini figure is by touch and feel (the most reliable option), by looking the barcode (in series 1 and 2), by looking the bump codes in the bottom package (this code is different for some region though), by bringing an accurate pocket digital scale to measure the weight (every mini figure usually has different weight) or by bringing portable mini x-ray.

Rebel Ink The Japan Power version is designed by Usugrow and manufactured by Secret Base. They released this six inch tall urban toys in 2011. This designer toys are using Rebel Ink platform and using vinyl for the material.

The Japan Power version is fully covered with shiny silver paint and the shape is also amazing. The detail on the head sculpting is so great and the shape of this Rebel Ink also similar to other versions. This urban vinyl has a cool design just look at the graphic on the belly and the low rise jeans.

There is no other skull as hip as this one and the shiny silver finish add a bold looks on this action figure. It’s a new released urban toy so you better grab it while it last.

The Destroyer Nomi CIBoys

Recently we have reviewed about CIBoys Destroyer Poka and this time we want to review another Ciboys Destroyer. CIBoys Destroyer Nomi is also produced by Red Magic and they released this urban toy in 2008.

CIBoys Destroyer Nomi has 4.5 inch height and mostly using a gray color as the main template. Nomi basic shape is similar to Poka but it has a rocket launchers instead of spray paints. Destroyer Nomi graphic also different from Poka. The body of the mechanical robot has a great graphic detail.

They Paint the body just like a camouflage shark using a black, white and red paints. The other different part is the mini figure inside the clear hatch. It looks like a cute little cyborg controlling the large mechanical device.

CIBoys Destroyer Nomi has an edgy and bold looks, Red Magic is successfully created a futuristic urban vinyl. We are pretty sure a lot of urban toys collectors will like this cool figure.

Leche The Angry Cow

Leche is an urban toys designed by Simone Legno and produced by Strangeco. Simone Legno is also famous for the Tokidoki series. They released Leche in 2007 as a part of the Moofia series and they used abs as the material of this cute toy.

Leche is a mini figure that has 3 inch height and a cute appearance. Just imagine a Milk Carton that has a cow graphic print and two horns. Leche has an angry face just look that angry eyes, I think he is ready to strike anybody who wears red clothing.

I don’t know why most of the Moofia series are making me think of the milk carton character on the Blur Coffee and TV music video. The box shape body, the white ears and the black feet makes an adorable figure and I also adore the detail of the yellow horns.

The Destroyer Poka CIBoys

Red Magic is releasing another great and unique urban toys as CIBoys Destroyer series. The CIBoys Destroyer Poka is a 4.5 inch mini figure released in the year 2008. They also used the famous CIBoys platform as the basic reference of this wonderful collector figure.

CIBoys Destroyer Poka look like a giant mechanical robot with a cute little figure riding on it. Red, black, gray, white and blue paint are used to create this cool urban vinyl. The design of this collector toy is simple but it has a great detail.

I like the little pilot, the clear hatch and the detail on the robot legs. The red spray paint on the left and right look like a jet pack. Red Magic successfully created a cool and unique urban toys and the other figure in the CIBoys Destroyer series are also a great vinyl toys.

Large Martin Mr. Frosty is an urban toys designed by Ashley Wood and produced by threeA. This designer toys is released in 2011 as the wwrp series. They used vinyl as the material and used Large Martin as the platform.

Large Martin Mr. Frosty is standing nine inch tall and mostly painted in brown gradation color. The outer look has a rough robot form and painted with weathering technique. This urban vinyl has a big weapon on the shoulder and it looks like an old robot.

This collector toys has a retro look, it looks like this robot is picked up at the junkyard in the distant future. Mr. Frosty has a rusty looks, a cylindrical head, a cylindrical body and also has a bag as an accessories.

Colossus The Forty Eight Inch Bunny

Colossus Bunny is designed by the famous Joe Ledbetter and manufactured by The Loyal Subjects. They released Colossus Bunny in 2011. This urban toy has 48 inch height and they only make 10 piece of this designer toy.

They used fiberglass as the main material and the surface is mostly covered in orange paint. The shape is just like a cute bunny with a big round eyes. It will be hard to get this enormous size bunny because Colossus Bunny is an exclusive and limited designer toys.

If you are not able to purchase this big Colossus Bunny don’t be worry, you still can own the mini figure version of this toys. Overall Colossus Bunny is a cute figure to collect.

Wagamo is designed by Jean Marie Sauve and this urban toys is manufactured by Kaiju Bento. They only produced 500 piece of this designer toy and they released it in 2009. Wagamo is using vinyl as the main material and this urban vinyl has 5 inch height.

The surface of Wagamo is mostly painted in green and it has five red eyes. The body shape is similar to a cactus and it has legs like an octopus. Wagamo shape is like a cute and weird green alien. If you are into a weird creature this collector figure might caught your attention.

This toy is produced two years ago and they limited the productions, if you like it be fast and search this toys before they are gone from the market.

Sony Time Capsule and Kevin Lyons is working together to released Up Rock the brown version. They create this unique figure using resin and vinyl. This urban toy is released in 2003 and it has three inch height.

The brown Up Rock is using Vanimal Zoo platform and released as a part of Mighty Uprock Animals. Up Rock is a unique designer toys that has black antlers and sharp teeth. Most of Up Rock surface is painted in brown, it has two spherical eyes and also holding a boombox.

Kevin Lyons has created a unique collector toy and most of the toy in the same series comes with a musical accessories, maybe that’s why they call it Uprock. If you like a unique creature this mini figure is a good addition for your toy collections.
