Happy hour at Portland City Grill is the best hands down. My hubby and I only do HR's for going out and we have frequented many, in fact we have a book. The food is the best, the prices are the best, the view is the best and the service is the best. Yes, definitely the best HR to take out of town guests. On top of all of that the service is good. I'm pretty sure that Boxer Sushi doesn't have a happy hour, but that shouldn't stop you from some of the best sushi in town. This location is small, so be sure to arrive early - they open at 5:30. The $38 dinner special is worth considering. -- by MarkoRamius

Mi Mero Mole offers great Mexican food and tequila selection in a no frills location out on east division. The portions are large, the drinks are strong, and there seems to always be a special of the day. This is a solid alternative to Por Que No. -- by MarkoRamius

One of the best bars in Seattle with a great tap lineup and lots of bottles. You can find some beers here you can't find anywhere else. But watch out for a bartender named Ken. He is a huge dick and will kick you out after two beers if you look at him wrong. He told me I had to leave because he had, "A problem with other people drinking too much." I have been going there for years and I was blown away by this. Since there are a plethora of awesome bars around Seattle with friendly service where you are warmly welcomed I will not be back. Instead of having an attitude of friendship and comradery with other bars and beer people in Seattle they fight with others and cause rifts in the beer community. Hey Uber, stick to the great beer and stop being dicks!!! Uber Tavern Bartender Quotes: Customer: "Hi I saw on twitter you guys just tapped Pliney the Elder, could I get one of those?" Bartender: "That is what you get for following twitter, we don't have it, next." Customer: "Could I get a lemon with my hefeweizen?" Bartender: "If you said that in Germany you would get punched in the face." Customer: "Hi, I saw the sign outside saying you guys have kegs to go, I would like to order one please." Great dive bar! Friendly fast service, cheap drinks (they really do have $2 well drinks all the time..) You can sing some karaoke, play pool for free, play buck hunter, gamble, pretty much everything that I look for in a dive bar. Plus they don't care if you bring in your own food! Happy hour at Trigger - none yet. Trigger is a Tex-Mex nacho bar - no big deal. The food is good, but this place is sort of a bummer considering it's run by Bunk. On a busy night they have only a single bartender. You'll wait 20 minutes for a draft Pacifico. There's no way to reach the bar to place an order because the bar stools are packed shoulder to shoulder. Meanwhile, wait staff is standing around waiting for the sole bartender to fill drink orders for their tables. Super annoying. I give Trigger 3 stars only because of their food and frozen Margaritas. -- by MarkoRamius

Big Eye Sushi is our favorite place to go for happy hour. . Even though they are a smaller place, they found room to accommodate a big surprise birthday party for us. The owner, Yohan, is an amazing chef. This place is definitely worth a try! -- by beccacceb
