The thing about Lady Gaga is that she brings DRAMA. She is always in costume and it is entertaining. She is like a walking runway. She represents the fantasy of Fashion. She was recently on the cover of the January issue of 944 Magazine. The headpieces are my favorite part. Even the lace covered face is deliciously strange. It reminds me of Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2009 when all the models wore flesh colored masks, this is taking it much further though. On the cover she is sporting a custom-made headpiece by Alex Noble; feathers, diamonds, and lace. In the bottom picture she wearing yet another custom-made headpiece byMouton Collet. It’s made of silk, tulle and embroidered with pearls. WOW. Halloween costume anyone?

Here is something for you to try on your nails. I've gotten this manicure a few times. I first tried it a few months ago at home and it was hard for me to do....I don't have steady fingers lol. After that, I got it done professionally a few times, I prefer it with white nail polish and a black half moon. So basically the opposite of what is in the picture. I'm thinking about different colors to try it with too. I think it's a haute concept.

People were not only interested in what was on the runway, they were interested in what Ms. Fenty would wear, as she put on her own fashion week. Here are the looks. Mariel Henn has really transformed Rihanna. Although, I'm not loving all the looks ensemble.....there is something I adore in each of the looks.

How would you describe your personal style? A mixture of bohemian, super glamorous, and street.

What inspires you when you get dressed? The look I'm going for that day, comfort, and function. Monday through Thursday, I'm in class, so I try to be comfortable, yet still super glam. When it comes to getting dressed for parties, I love to wear skirts and dresses. I have the longest legs ever so showing off my gams are a plus.

What do you look forward to wearing this Fall? I look forward to wear these cream cable knight tights and these fuschia tights I just purchased from Target, leather bomber jackets, boyfriend blazers, flat riding boots, oversized cardigans, and baggy skully hats.
What is the biggest fashion mistake you see girls make? Matching colors, plastic, neon jewelry, patent leather pointy-toe heels, waist belts, and not taking their size and shape into consideration.

If you could raid any celebrity's closet, who would it be? I would love to raid the Olsen Twins closet, even though I can't fit any of their stuff. I just want to go through their jewelry boxes, sunglass collection and handbag selection. They have the most amazing accessories. I wouldn't mind borrowing their Fendi Twin Tote in crocodile.

Pant Suits....

Pantsuits for women are being reinvented and different styles are becoming available. My favorite would have to be Rihanna this past summer. She shut it down with the crisp white Derek Lam suit and a leopard print shirt for a little pazzaz! For the fall black and grey are the safest options, played around with textures and proportions. Suits are a little expensive but they are well worth it. Also you can create the pantsuit look with different pieces, not necessarily all bought together....duh

Booties are definitely a trend for this Fall once again, some even were wearing them in the Summer. There are definitely a lot more options when it comes to booties now: cutout, peeptoe, suede, lace up, flats there booties for everyone and every outfit. Booties are versatile item to add to your closet, depending on the kind you can pair them with jeans, skirts, dresses, leggings...pretty much anything. A Cardigan, skirt, tights and booties sounds like a go to me for a casual fall outfit! Here are a few different options to give you some ideas of what's out there.

Kelly Rowland was all over New York Fashion Week this past week and she was killing it! These were some of the best looks I've seen on Kelly in a while especially, especially the hair, it looked good. My favorite look are the black dress with the pearls and slicked back hair, the black dress with the pink blazer and the grey dress with the black lace. Bravo Kelly! What do you all think of her looks? A lot of black....'all black everything' like Hov said.

September 11, 2009. Jay-Z had a concert at Madison Square Garden. It was nothing short of amazing. 8 years to the day of the terrorist attacks, the home of Lost Towers got something special from their biggest representer. The 'Answer the Call" benefit concert was so good, it had us screaming as we watched. Twitter takeover and all--Only, Hov. I think everyone who watched felt that they were at the concert. So many people came out there and killed it. If you missed it Fuse will be airing it again tomorrow (9/13) at 5pm and if you don't have fuse then....find it somewhere on the internet because it is a must-see!

Since we're moving on to the fall, I thought I would share another one of my favorites....the Leather Jacket. I love Leather jackets because they are so versatile. I wear mine ALL the time in the fall, you can never go wrong with jeans, a white shirt, heels and a leather jacket. You can throw it over a really girly dress to add a little edge, I did that a lot last fall when I went out. I've always stuck to black but I'm definitely ready to experiment with dyed leather. This fall it's all about the detail, zips and studs. We are about to see some very hot designs. I'll start with the object of my affection, I've loved it for so long......It has all the elements I am looking for.

Balenciaga Motorcycle Jacket

The classic black leather jackets have so many details added to them now it's more than the old school Wilson Leather you saw in the past. As you can see jeans and a white shirt make it simple and cazh.

The dyed leather is definitely becoming a favorite of mine. Bring a little color to the fall, definitely a good look.

Lastly these two jackets are similar, one is black and the other in Cream. I loveee them both but I think I love the cream more. A lot you can do with that.

Tyra Banks very rarely gets a complete look right. I think she looked so good at the Daytime Emmy's this past weekend. She usually goes wrong with the hair but I have no complaints this time. Nice (Fabolous voice) lol.

I found an actual matte nail polish. Sephora by OPI .

The cost is $9 and it comes in three diff shades. I'm definitely going to try them out. Matte nails are something different but beware a matte manicure does not last as long as a regular one. But have fun with it, matte the whole nail or do it with a glossy tip!
