If the urine has penetrated right into the deepest darkest depths of the mattress then you need to ensure that the product penetrates to the same depth. This will track the same as the urine will and the product has the same viscocity as urine.

Ensure the mattress is doused wth the product and then place it in a warm room with plenty of fresh air and sunlight or warmth.

Why you need more than just Vinegar to neutralise and remove cat urine stains and odors?

It would be nice if vinegar was the solution for removing cat urine stains and odor however it IS NOT…………..Why??

Because cat urine contains residual chemicals that Vinegar CAN NOT BREAK DOWN

I am unsure why the recomendation of vinegar even comes up as the people recommending it clearly do not have history with problem cats urinating in their homes. Vinegar will not neutralise cat urine .

Urine contains 4 components and Vinegar only eliminates one of the them (The Salt Residues)  so it is totally ineffective as  a cat urine neutraliser

Vinegar is acid and Salt is alkaline hence the reason it can make the chemical reaction PH neutral but that still leaves the uric acid , ammonia, urochrome and the other residues remaining in your carpet. UGH!!

Step one.

Always try to remove the car urine as soon as it happens. DO NOT use Vinegar or baking soda or other household remedies that don’t work and can cause damage to your carpet

I find the most effective tool to use is a vacuum cleaner that sucks water or cat urine

These machines are commonly referred to as a “wet vac”

1. Set up the machine and apply  a little water to the urine stain with  atiny drop of detergent in the water to help penetrate the urine stain

2. Extract the urine into the machine and then repeat.

3. Repeat urine removal until it is all taken out of the carpet

Step One. Is the urine stain from an animal or from human urine.

Human urine is much easier to remove than animal urine usually due to the large amounts of fluids humans usually drink and the bulk amounts of carbohydrates consumed that make the urine much weaker than pet urine. Therefore it is easier to remove this type of urine stains
