This is not a review…it’s a revelation. The host, Amber Rae is a professional producer and promoter with a love for all things entertaining, from the fluffy to the fine. She’s devoted to putting art in front of audiences - a matchmaker of sorts. Her endeavor is to apply her presentation skills and strong personality to help consumers find culture and creators draw crowds. We live in a rapidly growing region where people are hungry for entertainment, which performers are eager to provide, and she hopes to use this platform to bridge the gap between the two on a local level.

She’s not here to judge anyone’s creativity. She’s here to teach them to tout it so that everyone else can judge them for her! She’s up for everything: from cheese curds to caviar, PBR to Pinot, open mics to Operas, She’ll try anything once and encourage everyone to do the same!

She’s sick of hearing “there’s nothing to do in this town” so She’s taking matters into her own hands and using her production experience and promotional knowledge to introduce entertainment opportunities to the area. With the help of her sassy sidekicks, Darius the Beer Bitch, the Producer, and our special industry guests, the Dive Bar Diva will put a classy, trashy spin on the area arts scene.

It’s the 2nd Annual Poker Bowling Tournament sponsored by URL Radio, Bill Barth Ford, College Save, and NDCAN!!! Take a gamble and bet on a fun time Saturday, April 21st at Midway Lanes in Mandan. Registration is at 11:30 a.m., bowling starts at noon. All ages can compete. Families are encouraged to attend.
You will be guaranteed two games of bowling – one for fun and one for competition. The top 12 hands at the end of game one move on to competitive game two. Those who don’t move on can just bowl for fun or their own wager (we don’t condone side bets but that is your business). Then, the top 6 hands from game two move on to game three. Top 3 hands from that game will compete for our grand prizes!! We have a Discovery Flight from Executive Air, a Snow Board from Savvy Skate and Snow, and another prize from String Bean. There will also be a silent auction.

URL Radio is organizing a fun scavenger hunt with QR Codes and  we’d like to get your business involved! This will be a fun, unique way to  get exposure for your business and increase your foot traffic.

Here’s how it will work:

We’ll make up a code for each participating business.  The code  will have a clue that will help players guess the final answer. It will also cue players in on a deal at the place of business that they may want to  use that day – 25% off purchase, free item, buy one get one deal, etc.  We ask that you display the QR Code in a very easy to see, prominent place in your business.

We will have all the participating businesses on our website and in some local publications. The clues will be so vague that it will take at least 10 or 12 clues before people figure out what the answer is. Once they do, they can drop the answer off at URL Radio. Out of all the correct entries, we’ll draw for several smaller, business donated prizes and have one big prize and one GRAND prize! Prizes will be awarded on March 31 or April 2 during URL Radio’s 3rd Anniversary celebration!
