El 15 de Mayo, The Boss realizó una presentacion en el "4th K-Pop Super Live" que tuvo lugar en Makuhari Event Hall en Chiba, Japon. Ellos estuvieron en el concierto junto con Shin Hye Sung, Super Junior, SHINee, y X-5.

Sinembargo, el día antes de la presentación, Karam mostró algunos síntomas preocupantes en su cuerpo y fue llevado al hospital. Ellos estuvieron muy preocupados por su presentación programada.

Hace poco la pagina oficial de The Boss reveló el la liberaci{on de el nuevo single llamado"love Bingo!". Hoy, la lista de pistas del single como la cubierta/portada fue publicado.

Los 5 miembros de The Boss han estado en Japón desde Setiembre del año pasado, ocasionalmente retornando a Korea para sus promociones solos o entregas de premios. Ellos lanzaron su primer single Japonés en Abril, y han empezado a expandir sus actividades en Japon por el lanzamiento de su nuevo single y video musical . "Love Bingo!" está por liberarse el 15 de Junio y será en tres diferentes versiones.

TVXQ and Super Junior will be mentioned in a special note on a the very well known locally (Peru) and international show: Cinescape.

Cinescape is a program dedicated to films/Movies and entertainment, "Bruno Pinasco' is the master of this show and has been a special guest at many international events such as carpet CampRock2 also annually go to LA for the Academy Awards (The Oscars)others times MTVLA, etc.

[News] Korean drama goes global on YouTube

YouTube and Korean production company Group Eight are forging Hallyu history with their pact to produce and launch the video-sharing website’s first global-scale, exclusive TV-style drama.

Group Eight, the company behind the smash hit series “Boys Over Flowers,” is looking to extend the life of their drama “Naughty Kiss” which is currently airing on MBC by launching a special version of it into the YouTube stratosphere.

Under the deal Group Eight will create seven, never-before-seen, 10-minute long episodes of “Naughty Kiss” exclusively for YouTube.

Since YouTube caters to a global audience, such a partnership offers a number of benefits for the production company.

Group Eight does not need to sell its series to each country’s distributors nor does the company need to vie for a highly coveted timeslot on a major broadcasting network. By airing via YouTube, they can go straight to their target audience.

“I feel like the head of a broadcasting network,” Group Eight CEO Song Byeong-joon said at a press conference on Wednesday. “It takes a load off.”

Lee Won-jin, Asia Managing Director of YouTube’s parent company Google, revealed a long-term vision toward what he considers a first step.

“We are developing a new model for distributing dramas,” Lee, also head of Google Korea, said.

An official YouTube “Naughty Kiss” channel will open in October where users can check out promotional videos, music videos, making-of-the-series clips and participate in special events. Then, between late October and early November, after MBC’s “Naughty Kiss” airs its final episode, the special series will be launched.

Group Eight’s Song said the series would not be a repeat of the MBC version, adding that unaired episodes from the original comic book series and brand new stories will be used to create the special edition.

Subtitles, said Google’s Lee, may be provided by YouTube at first and or may invite users to translate the series collectively.

Since YouTube currently has domains in 24 countries and 24 hours worth of footage is being uploaded by the minute as of March, the “Naughty Kiss” special edition may pave the way for future YouTube and other made-for-Internet dramas.

For now, however, Group Eight might just be hoping that YouTube’s “Naughty Kiss” fares better than the network version, which has been bringing in average viewer ratings of around 3 percent for its first four episodes.

MBC’s “Naughty Kiss” is a spin-off of the late Kaoru Tada’s Japanese comic book series “Itazura na Kiss,” which sold a whopping 30 million copies and was remade into both a Taiwanese and Japanese TV drama and an animated series.

“Boys Over Flowers” heartthrob and SS501 boy band leader Kim Hyun-joong is playing the lead alongside “Bad Boy” starlet Jung So-min.

Three members of TVXQ, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu and Hero Jaejoong, confront a fresh setback as its Japanese management agency Avex on Thursday decided to suspend all activities in Japan of the popular entertainers.

The surprising decision by Avex came just a week after the three members released an album in Japan last Wednesday, which stole the first slot on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

The latest development underscores the difficulties the stars face after the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the three members against SM Entertainment, over an allegedly unfair clause in their contract. Since the legal dispute, the three members have kept their presence in the Japanese entertainment market, with Avex the local agency for the breakaway group, excluding two other members.

The relations between the three members and Avex, however, turned out to be not so amicable as the Japanese agency abruptly announced on Thursday it will stop promoting and organizing events for them, citing concerns about the head of C-JES, a Korean management agency.

“In order to obey the morals of working principles in our company, we have decided we cannot continue the promotions of the three members in Japan,” said an Avex spokesperson Thursday.

Avex also mentioned the criminal record of the Korean agency’s chief in its press release, when announcing its decision to halt management services. However, a PR representative in Seoul for Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong told The Korea Herald on Friday that Avex aims to block the group from performing for Japanese fans by suspending the service, rather than scrapping the contract.

Unless Avex terminates the contract, the three members cannot sign a new deal with other Japanese management agencies.

The three celebrities, who have a huge following in Korea, Japan and elsewhere in Asia, strongly refuted Avex’s statement on Friday, saying that C-JES has nothing to do with a criminal organization. They acknowledged the president of C-JES had indeed got a criminal record, but said the rumor about his involvement with an organized crime ring is totally groundless.

The members continued to argue that Avex already knew the agency chief’s past record when the two parties signed their contract. Given the circumstances, Avex cannot use this as a reason to suspend their activities, the members said.

The key point of contention between the three members and Avex concern the terms of the contract. Avex called for a change to the details in it, which the members declined, claiming the new conditions were unfair. The TVXQ members said Avex’s move is simply to punish their refusal to agree to new terms.

¡¡ Avex also stated in the press release that although it suspends service for the three members, it holds the legal rights to serve as a management firm in Japan for TVXQ group, with the full five members, citing the valid contract with SM Entertainment.

“We need cooperation and attention from our fans,” the three members said in a statement. “We hope we will meet our fans as soon as possible.”

Im Sang-hyuk, a lawyer working for the Korean idol group members, said in a statement that Avex shouldn’t have put them in such a tight position. “I will put efforts into solving this problem so that the three members can resume their activities in Japan,” he said.

The three members of TVXQ filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment over the validity of their contract. They claimed that a 13-year contract was excessively long and that earnings were not distributed fairly among them.

지난 9일 저녁 서울 용산 국립중앙박물관 극장 용. 객석을 가득 메운 관객 800여 명이 갑자기 환호성을 질렀다. 객석의 절반 이상을 채운 일본인들에게서 나온 환호였다. 일본말 '스고이(멋있다)'가 연방 이어졌다.

막을 올린 지 이틀째인 뮤지컬 '궁'의 주인공 동방신기 소속 유노윤호(사진)에 대한 반응이었다. 관객들은 출연자 소개 마지막 순서 때 황태자 복장의 유노윤호를 보고 탄성을 지른 것. 뮤지컬에서도 불 수 있는 한류 바람의 가능성을 여실히 보여준 현장이었다. 뮤지컬 '궁'은 매경미디어그룹과 그룹에이트가 일본ㆍ중국 등 아시아 시장을 겨냥해 공동으로 제작한 한류 프로젝트다.

출연진 선정ㆍ제작 단계에서부터 관심이 집중됐다. 국내외에 100만명을 넘는 팬그룹을 갖고 있다는 유노윤호가 주인공을 맡으면서 공연 전부터 외국에서 문의가 쏟아졌다. 두 달 전인 7월 8일 시작된 티켓 판매는 불과 2분 만에 매진돼 '궁'에 대한 높은 관심을 반영했다. 공연은 10월 24일까지 계속된다.

동방신기의 유노윤호가 국내외 팬들의 관심 속에 뮤지컬 배우로 성공적으로 데뷔했다.

13일 뮤지컬 '궁' 제작사인 그룹에이트에 따르면 유노윤호가 황태자 이신 역을 맡은 이번 작품은 지난 8일 서울 용산 국립중앙박물관 극장 용에서 막을 올렸다.

주인공 이신 역은 유노윤호 외에도 김동호와 런이 트리플 캐스팅됐다. 첫 날 공연에는 뮤지컬계의 기대주 김동호가 나섰다. 이어 공연 둘째 날인 9일, 유노윤호가 무대에 서며 마침내 뮤지컬 배우로 정식 데뷔했다.

뮤지컬 '궁'의 연출을 맡은 김재성 감독은 "유노윤호는 거의 넉 달 간 아이돌이라는 타이틀을 벗고 뮤지컬 배우로서 누구에게도 지지 않을 만큼 열심히 연습에 임해왔다"라며 "뮤지컬 배우로서는 아직 신인이고, 초연이지만 안무는 물론 신인답지 않게 연기력이 좋았고 특히 무대를 압도하는 카리스마도 굉장했다"라고 칭찬했다.

이어 "데뷔를 성공적으로 끝낸 만큼 앞으로도 뮤지컬 '궁'을 통해 많은 성장이 기대되는 배우"라며 유노윤호에 대한 기대감을 감추지 않았다.

유노윤호의 뮤지컬 데뷔에 일본 등 해외 팬들의 관심도 이어지고 있다.

그룹에이트 측은 "김동호의 공연을 기점으로 유노윤호와 런이 연달아 화려한 무대를 장식하며 뮤지컬 '궁'의 대망의 시작을 알렸다"라며 "객석은 관객들로 가득 찼는데, 여기에 화려한 LED를 이용한 감각적 영상의 삽입은 극의 이해도에 도움을 주며 국내뿐 아니라, 극장을 찾은 해외 많은 관객들의 호응을 이끌어냈다"라고 전했다.

이어 "자신을 드라마 '궁'의 열렬한 팬이라고 소개한 한 일본인 여성 관객은 '김동호씨의 공연을 시작으로 유노윤호와 런의 공연을 모두 보기 위해 일본에서 찾아왔다'라며 이번 작품에 큰 관심을 드러냈다"라고 덧붙였다.

뮤지컬 '궁'은 오는 10월24일까지 총 55회에 걸쳐 공연된다.

`무대의 주인은 관객.`

8일 서울 용산 국립중앙박물관 극장용에서 개막한 매경미디어그룹의 첫 뮤지컬 `궁`은 이 간단한 진리를 다시금 확인시킨 자리였다. `공연은 배우와 관객의 교감으로 완성된다`는 말을 금과옥조(金科玉條)로 여기는 공연계지만, 이런 현상을 실제 현장에서 보긴 쉽지 않다. 그러나 `궁`은 달랐다. 공연 시간 170분 동안 작품과 배우, 관객은 하나로 뒤엉켜 완벽한 앙상블을 만들어냈다.

9일 공연은 `동방신기` 멤버 유노윤호(본명 정윤호ㆍ24)가 `궁`에 처음으로 출연한 날이었다. 아이돌 톱스타의 뮤지컬 첫 무대. 그의 팬이 아닌 사람으로서 봐도 큰 무리는 없었다. 만화에서 걸어나온 듯한 눈부신 비주얼이 돋보였고, 통제된 궁궐 생활을 답답해하는 황태자 이신의 심리도 적절하게 표현했다. 특히 2막 초반 잠깐 보여준 브레이크댄스는 유노윤호가 왜 이 뮤지컬에 캐스팅됐나를 보여주는 증거였다.

`궁`은 현대에도 입헌군주제가 유지되고 있다는 설정에서 출발해 `까칠한` 황태자와 천방지축 여고생 신채경이 티격태격 사랑 싸움을 하다가 결혼에 골인한다는 줄거리다. 소녀 취향의 귀여운 재미가 특징인 작품이다. 뮤지컬 역시 발랄한 상상력과 아기자기한 웃음을 곳곳에 심어뒀다. 말풍선 모양의 영상을 띄우거나 `대략난감`(난처한 처지에 놓였음을 표현하는 감탄사) 같은 인터넷 유행어를 자막으로 띄우는 만화적 기법이 눈에 띄었다. 자칫 가벼워질 수 있는 극의 무게중심은 신의정(신채경 역)과 이창희(이율 역) 등 뮤지컬 출신 배우들이 잡아줬다.

무대 위에 펼쳐진 오색찬란한 황실 내부와 궁중의상, 한국무용과 브레이크댄스를 `퓨전`한 안무 등도 좋은 볼거리였다. 너무 긴 러닝타임(대개 뮤지컬은 2시간~2시간 30분을 공연한다)과 24회 분량의 드라마를 압축시키면서 생긴 줄거리의 헐거움만 빼곤 전체적으로 무난한 공연이었다.

하지만 이날의 주인공은 유노윤호 등 배우도, 작품의 줄거리도, 화려한 무대세트도 아니었다. 다름 아닌 관객이었다. 유노윤호가 처음 등장했을 때와 브레이크댄스를 출 때 잠깐 `팬미팅` 같은 분위기가 연출되기도 했지만, 숨소리까지 죽이고 극에 빠져준 관객들 덕분에 객석과 무대 사이엔 팽팽한 긴장감이 계속 유지됐다. 높아진 작품의 밀도에 배우들의 몰입도까지 올라간 것은 물론이다.

공연 막바지, 이신이 채경에게 사랑을 고백하고 드라마의 유명한 사운드트랙 `사랑인가요`를 부르면서 관객들은 긴장을 서서히 풀기 시작했다. 그리고 유노윤호의 커튼콜 순간, 그동안 꾹꾹 눌러왔던 열정을 발산하며 극장이 떠나가라고 소리쳤다. 팬덤의 새로운 모습을 발견하는 순간이었다.
