Times: I am on the East Coast. Shipping will take from 1-2 days on the
East Coast and 6-9 days on the West Coast. Shipping times are only
estimates. I will get the package out right away but have no control of
the deliveries.

Mail - All Media Mail 13 oz. and under will be shipped via First Class
Mail - I do not like to use media mail because it is very slow. I will
only use media mail to keep costs down on cheaper items weighing over
13oz. Any item that sells for 7.00 or less that can be shipped by media
mail will be. Other options are always offered. Media mail delivery
times can take up to 14 days and there is no guarantees.

This tank is in good condition for it's age. It was manufactured in 1957. However, the valve should be replaced before using it again. This is simple to do and must be done with the tank empty. A new valve costs less than $20 

This tank was is operation just a few weeks ago, without any issues.

(We switched to a different propane supplier and we received a new tank in the deal.)

This tank we are selling does not belong to any propane company, it is privately owned by us.

250 gallon tank. (Actual capacity is 287 gallons) A propane tank is only filled to 80-85% for purposes of expansion. Approx. 8 feet long and 30" in diameter.  

The guys from the propane company loaded it onto my flatbed trailer for me. They emptied it. A very small amount of propane still remains in the tank, too small amount to register on the gauge.

I was told that this tank would weigh about a thousand pounds. (!) 

I researched large propane tanks and have found them being used to make cookers, BBQ's and drums. I am selling this tank cheap. Use it for whatever your creativity can dream up.

NOTE!!!!!!  Please use common sense. This tank had a flammable liquid inside it. Don't try cutting it up with a torch without using proper knowledge and safety. Seriously!

Delivery could be possible, at an additional cost. Depending on the distance. (My father has a large truck) If you need delivery, please make arrangement with me before bidding. I do not have a way to pick this tank up and move it. The buyer is responsible for this.  I have this tank chained down on a tilting car-hauler trailer and it can most likely be carefully slid off onto the ground. Otherwise, this is a local pick-up only.

Delivery may be possible within 150 (+ or - a little?) miles of Rail Road Flat, California 95248 (please understand that this type of delivery depends on the mood of my Father, he's an old fart afterall.)

This is a used item and is being sold as-is, without any warranty implied. I will not certify this tank.
