This trick generally works for most of the 3rd party applications, here we won't use any kind of time stopper or lame stuff like that.
What we will do is clear tracks so that app doesn't realize we used the software before uninstalling it and are reinstalling it.
First thing to do is uninstall the application.
Go to Start Type "Regedit".
Go to HK Local Machine -> Software -> Your Software name. Delete the Key.
Do this for HK Current user if there exists a key of that software.
Go to run type "%temp%. Delete all files. Well they are just temporary files so it won't matter, it will only clean up ur pc little bit if not anything else.
Go to Users -> Username -> Appdata Check all 3 directories that is "Local", "LocalLow", "Roaming" for your software entry. Delete that.

STEP 3: Open Redsn0w, click on Extras, then Select IPSW and point it to iOS 5 IPSW file.

STEP 4: Now hit back, then jailbreak and check on “Install Cydia”.

STEP 5: Follow the on-screen instructions to get your device in DFU mode.

You’ll get your device jailbroken within few minutes of installing some important exploits on your iOS device. You’ll get white Cydia icon once jailbroken, you’ll need to make tethered boot to get it working. In future, when you reboot your device, you’ll also need to tethered boot.

STEP 1: Open Redsn0w, hit Extras then “Just Boot”.

STEP 2: Hit next and then follow the on-screen instructions to get in DFU mode.

Update iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.3 for Redsn0w Jailbreak and Preserve Baseband for Unlock!

Recently, iOS 4.3.3 was released by Apple. Those wishing to update to this new firmware can do so via iTunes easily by simply connecting their iPhones to iTunes, and hitting UPDATE.

However, if you wish to unlock your iPhone later, you will run into problems later if you update this way. The new iOS update from Apple will also update your modem firmware, or baseband, which will pretty much eliminate your chances of unlocking your iPhone right now. Unless an update is made for Ultrasn0w, you are pretty much out of luck… unless you are following this tutorial, which is of course why you have come here in the first place…

The instructions below will guide you step-by-step on updating your iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.3 in such a way that you can PRESERVE your baseband for an unlock in the future. Although my iPhone, featured in the video below, does not currently contain an unlockable baseband, the point is that it stays where it was anyways. If your iPhone has baseband 01.59.00, you will still be able to successfully unlock the iPhone 4today. The lower you keep your baseband, the better your chances of an unlock are!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Before you begin, you’re going to need to download a few things onto your system. I recommend a fast internet connection when downloading, as a few items are rather large.

First, Download the Official iOS 4.3.3 firmware from Apple. You can find this on our DOWNLOADS PAGE.

Second, You’ll need the latest version of Tiny Umbrella. This can be found at the Developer’s Website HERE.

Third, Download “RecoveryFix” for your computer. This is also found at the Developer Site above. The link is under the link for Tiny Umbrella.

After you have prepared yourself properly with the tools needed from above, you are ready to start the process of updating. Please note that the video is meant to put a visual to the written portion of this guide, and you should pay attention to both the text and video.

HOW-TO GUIDE:

Follow these steps to update your iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.3 while still retaining your baseband.

Step 1: Open Tiny Umbrella, and click “SAVE SHSH” Your SHSH Blobs will need to be saved with this software in order to continue.

- If you want to know more about SHSH Blobs, you can find out a lot of information by clicking the “What is Jailbreaking?” button on the menu bar above after this tutorial.

Step 2: Once SHSH Blobs have been saved (you can tell from the LOG in Tiny Umbrella), Open iTunes and BACK UP YOUR iPHONE!

Step 3: In TinyUmbrella, click “Start TSS Server” – If you see a Green Check Mark in the LOG section of TinyUmbrella, you know it’s working properly

Step 4: iTunes will have closed up on you. Restart iTunes, and navigate to the iPhone options section (click on your iPhone in the iTunes sidebar).

Step 5: Hold OPTION (Mac) or SHIFT (Windows) and click the RESTORE button. This is NOT the “Update” button.. it’s the RESTORE button.

Step 6: iTunes will immediately prompt you to select the firmware of your choice from your hard drive. Locate the firmware you downloaded “Before you Began” and point iTunes to this iOS 4.3.3 firmware by clicking “Open.” You will be prompted by one last window telling you everything will be erased. Just click OKAY

- Your iPhone is now restoring… please allow this process to continue until complete.

Step 7: An error will pop up on you. This is the imfamous 1013 error, and there is an easy way to fix this.

Step 8: Locate “RecoveryFix” that you previously downloaded before you began. There are two files inside the folder: fixrecovery421 and fixrecovery43. You will be using fixrecovery43 for this process, and any process that has to do with iOS 4.3.x.

Step 9: Open your command line interface. On Mac OS X, this is the TERMINAL. You can find this with a simple spotlight search, or from the Utilities Folder on your Mac. In Windows, visit your Start Menu, and click RUN. Then, type “cmd” without the spaces. This will prompt your command lineinterface.

Step 10: Place your Device into DFU mode. This is done by holding the POWER and HOMEbutton simultaneously. Once the phone screen turns off, count to about “2″, then release POWER but KEEP HOLDING HOME. You will know your device is in DFU mode if the screen remains looking as though it is off.

Step 11: Run Recoveryfix43 with your command line. On a Mac, you can easily just Drag it into the terminal window, and hit Enter.

Step 12: You are now done with your Restore. Let the phone to it’s thing, and don’t touch anything. you will know it is working if you begin to see a bright white flash from the screen, followed by a bunch of little code streaming all around it.

Once the process described above has been followed exactly, you are done with your restore, and you are now running iOS 4.3.3. on your iPhone 4, with your old baseband still active on the device. If your modem firmware (baseband) is still 01.59.00, you can still unlock the iPhone. If it is anything higher, you will not be able to unlock (as of today, 05/08/2011).

Now that you have updated to iOS 4.3.3, you can easily get an UNTETHERED JAILBREAKRUNNING iOS 4.3.3! If you are interested in that, CLICK HERE!

Using the open function from the menu on a directory enters into this directory.
When entering in [processes] or [tasks] with the 'enter' key (joystick), the menu is updated with only [back].

It's now possible to set (in the settings) a password to enter in FExplorer, if this password is left blank, no password is required to run FExplorer, this password can have a length of 20 characters but it's not encrypted.
In the settings, it's now possible to choose if the system and hidden files must be displayed or not (in one time).
In the settings, it's now possible to choose between the 'true icon' associated with a file or some built-in icons (app/sounds/pictures), this increase drastically the display of content of a directory when there are a lot of files.
In some new phones (like the 6680,...) the icons (of the files, tasks, processes ...) are not displayed correctly, this is fixed (thanks to Panu V. /Nokia for his great help).

Mobile Malware Increases Chances of Infection in Android

Mobile malware is rising, and there have been explosions in the world of viruses and Trojans. Virus makers are now targeting mobile platforms- thanks to their growing popularity. If we take the statistics from last 6 months, the chances of Android smart phones to be infected have doubled.

Lookout Security, the company that develops security solutions for Android phones, reported that the probability of Android phones catching a virus (or any other malware) has risen by 2 ½ times since January 2011.

About 1%-5% Android users have had infected phones by June, and these are just the reported numbers. The actual cases are much more, where users don’t know that their phones are infected with malware.

Kevin Mahaffey, the CTO and co-founder of San Francisco branch of Lookout, disclosed some startling statistics: there were 80 different types of Android malware in January 2011, and the numbers rose to 400 in June. The numbers have risen again in July and August, but the stats have not yet been disclosed. This is a threatening situation for Android users, who are quickly switching to newer and better security mechanisms to keep their phones and tablets safe from the rising risk of virus problems.

These stats have been received by Mobile Threat Network, after analyzing the applications that were acquired from independent and official markets, along with the malware detection outcome from security software. Many apps were not secure, making the phone vulnerable to virus attacks.

The infamous Android malware trouble rose to public eyes this March, when Google pulled over 50 applications from the Android market. These apps were infected with DroidDream, a strong malware. The company continued pulling apps from the market in small clusters from Google’s official website for downloading, along with some third party markets, especially in China.

The biggest malware threat to Android users is probably the rogue application model. In this model, attackers pirate a legit program and add some malicious code to it. Then they release it into the market. This repackaging of legit apps poses a lot of danger, and has proved to be an effective and strong malware agent.

If you have an Android device that comes with a data plan then most likely it would come pre-configured with MMS and GPRS/EDGE settings by your network operator. However, if you have bought it from open market, have rooted it or even restored factory settings (sometimes) then you will very likely have to configure these settings. Follow these steps to configure MMS and GPRS/EDGE on your Android device. Before starting up check with your service provider on website or via helpline for some of the network parameters that you are going to need.

1. Call your operator or check their website for following info:

GPRS Settings
- Connection Name: Vodafone or whatever your Network Operator name is
- Data Bearer: GPRS
- Access Point Name: wap.xxx
- User Name: xxx
- Prompt Password: xxx

- Authentication: xxx

2.   After getting these settings, click Menu on the main screen and select Settings.

4.   Click Menu and tap New APN. A new window will pop up. Tap the drop down menus and type in network parameters. It is really that simple. When you are done tap Menu in the same screen and click Save.


5.   For MMS in the Access Point Names click Menu again and select New APN. Now type in the parameters for the MMS , when you are done click Save. You have to set a New APN for GPRS and MMS.
6.   If you want to remain connected to the Internet always check Mobile Network (Connect to the Internet) or you can check it to connect as often as you like.

That’s all you need to do to use MMS and Internet via GPRS/EDGE. Now enjoy surfing the web and sending MMS via your Android device.
