You have to do this through the WordPress database directly. The most convenient way to manage the database is via the phpMyAdmin tool at your web hosting account.

Once in phpMyAdmin select the WordPress database from the drop-down menu on the left. The page will refresh and the database's tables will be displayed on it. Open the SQL tab (look at the top navigation bar).

In the text field write the following SQL query:

UPDATE `wp_users` SET `user_pass` = MD5( 'new_password_here' ) WHERE `wp_users`.`user_login` = "admin_username";

"new_password_here" - replace this with the new password you wish to use.
"admin_username" - replace this with the username the password should be updated for.

We can append a string or data to an existing data of a field by using concat function of MySQL. Here we are not updating or replacing an existing data with new one, we are just adding the string at the end of the field data.

For example we want to add site signature at the end of the comments posted by users. Here each user posts are different so we can't apply any update command so we will use concat to add the site signature to the each post kept inside a record – field in our update command.

Here is the syntax

Now let us see how it is used in a MySQL table query.

How to send Arabic email using CDOSYS in classic ASP

I have been trying this for a couple of weeks now and last night i have found a way that it could be done quite easily in classic ASP. Sending emails using the SMTP server in windows is quite easy, however i have been trying to do this for a client where he needs to send emails from the website using arabic characters when users make reservations from the website. After completing this page using a typical ASP page, i figured out that the arabic characters are displayed as ????? (question marks)..

As usual, i tried to solve this problem by searching the google to find a solution for this. I found that many people have faced the same problem as me, but couldn't find a solution. Then i tried to search the Microsoft website to find the members of the "CDO.Message" object. And finally i figured out that there is a property to change the charset of the message body.. and when i changed this charset to "utf-8" it worked!!

Here's the source code of the ASP file, so that anyone who faces this problem might find this useful..
