You saw a very quick sneak peek of this cute girl when I mentioned the hot new pink set that’s available here at Utah Boudoir Photography. Well I’m back now to share with you the rest of her images….well….almost. Some were simply too hot to post. *wink wink* Careful though, the images I’m sharing are hot enough to make your monitor melt! But that’s a good thing. Look for yourself and I think you’ll agree. As I promised in my last post, I’m back to feature more beautiful women. This time I’m thrilled to share with you Kristine who is going to ~~surprise~~ knock the socks off her hubby when she shows him the gift she’s been working on.

Kristine is such a lovely and sweet, sweet woman. After our session she sent me the nicest note; it said:

Hi Shay,

Thank you so much for making my session so enjoyable, and for making me feel beautiful yesterday. I admire your amazing talent, and friendly, sweet, helpful personality. By the time we were finished with my shoot, I felt like we were the oldest and dearest of friends!

I can’t wait to see my photographs, and to share them with my sweetheart. I know he will love them.

Celebrating life | utah boudoir photographer

Boudoir is all about celebrating women’s beauty. And of course, this celebration really should be honored at all ages. Life really is wonderful and therefore is simply too short. How often do we look at the date and realize in shock that another week, month, or heck, even a year has whizzed right by us? I know I do it all the time. Well my friends, this is the exact reason why we should not wait to live our lives.

Just this year I turned 30 years old. Now I don’t think I’m “old” by any means whatsoever. In fact, 30 is quite young, but to be honest I was surprised because wasn’t it just yesterday that I was in elementary school? Haha.

My point is ladies, don’t wait to live your life. To celebrate your beauty. To document how wonderful you are.

I was super thrilled when this gorgeous woman decided to do just that. To live her life. To celebrate her beauty at the wonderful age of 52 and after raising 5 babies.

After our session I was really touched to receive this email from her:

“I just wanted to say thank you for making the photo session today so easy! I really did have a GREAT time and I am SO excited for the turnout! I am looking forward to the final product! You were wonderful!!“

Y’all may remember this cutie pie from a few posts back and today I want to show you another calendar. Her calendar. She told me when she came to pick it up today that her boyfriend had been asking her over and over when she was going to go get it. He was a little anxious. And not that I blame him either! She’s gorgeous and her calendar turned out gorgeous. I would be anxious to get such an awesome anniversary gift too!

Smart girl also added on a few prints to her boudoir calendar order.

Let’s talk goodies again, shall we? Today I thought I would show you the custom designed soft cover bedside mini-album we offer.

This lovely little book is one of the many different types of bedside albums we offer at Utah Boudoir Photography. One of the key selling features for this particular album is how affordable it is. Sexy anniversary gift | utah boudoir photography

I am the first to admit I’m somewhat of a procrastinator when it comes to buying gifts. I know and realize particular events are approaching so begin to plan in my head what gift I will give, but before I know it the holiday, birthday, or whatever is upon me and I’m headed to the store the day before (and ok, sometimes the day of) the event to pick up the gift. It’s the thought that counts right? Not the how in advance the gift was purchased, right?! Right.

When this cutie pie contacted me stating her anniversary was in a couple of weeks I felt an immediate connection. Granted she wasn’t contacting me the day before (something I totally could see myself doing) but I typically need more time than we had to allow for the shoot, retouching, and ordering of product from my pro lab.

The day wasn’t totally ruined however because I was able to squeeze her session in quickly and then I created a custom slideshow for her to show her sweetie the day of their anniversary. They then picked out the images together for the calendar she’ll give to him at a slightly later date. How sweet is it that he was able to choose his favorites with her. I love it!!

They hang them up in the garage. They hang them up in their game rooms. I’ve even seen them hung up in offices. And if that’s not bad enough, they’re usually so old and outdated that the dates haven’t applied for years. I’m talking about calendars, ladies.

Her husband’s birthday was quickly approaching and she wanted to give a gift that he would least expect, yet most appreciate. She decided on a custom designed bedside album.
