After scanning through all the weekly ads, here are some of my favorite deals this week (5/15-5/21). I came up with 10+ deals that you can price match at Walmart to get fantastic savings on these items!

You don't need any coupons to get great deals on these items, although if you have coupons for these items you can obviously pair them with the sales for even more savings!

University of Utah Health Care is again offering an Allergy Night event that comes with FREE skin prick allergy tests for those in attendance! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 28th from 6:30-7:30 pm at the South Jordan Health Center in Daybreak. The event is free and also offers tons of info on treating allergies at home, as well as latest treatment options offered by allergy specialists in the area.

They're encouraging those interested to RSVP as space is limited!

Everyone say hello to our beautiful baby BOY! Everything looked perfect and he's right on target to arrive in early October. Both my husband and I were a bit surprised when we saw so clearly that it was a boy, we'd both had a hunch that we'd be buying pink again this time around!

Speaking of buying things, we have zero baby boy clothes. Like, none, until he turns 5, then we have whatever survives from son #2. It's a little overwhelming thinking about...so I'm leaving that for September or so, lol.

My kids? Oh heavens they're excited! They collectively decided last week that they wanted a brother, so they were over the moon when we told them.

Here's his little foot. Seems like we've got a mellow little guy in there, which I admit makes me a bit relieved! All 5th babies should be mellow, right?!

Thomas the Train is once again coming to Utah! May 24th- 27th, the Heber Valley Railroad will be hosting the popular Day Out with Thomas event. We've attended several times over years and my kids absolutely love it! The Train ride itself is fun~ it's a 25 minute round trip ride through the Heber Valley, which is always gorgeous. Aside from the train ride they also have several stations with other activities like playing on Train tables, listening to a Thomas the Train story, etc. Once they even had a small petting zoo! They give you a Passport where you collect stamps from each activity and kids can get a free souvenir once they redeem their passport. Really, it's a fun family event we've always enjoyed.

Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled and exciting way for children and adults to enter the world of Thomas & Friends®. Day Out With Thomas provides an opportunity for kids to take a ride with Thomas and have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway. I Saved 30% at Smith's in COUPONS Alone!

I shopped at Smith's this weekend in an attempt to re-supply my laundry stockpile. If you haven't noticed, my shopping trip postings have been a little sparse lately. I'm so happy to report that I no longer gag when walking into the grocery store!Yay! Ahhh, it's the little things, isn't it?! {If you missed my announcement, you can read it here!}

Smith's has a pretty good P&G sale going on right now. This week's sale ends tomorrow, but I'm willing to bet this particular sale will extend into next week, since they usually run 2 weeks. You can see all the sale prices I got here, on the Smith's Grocery Smarts list. Tide for $3.99 after coupon, Downy for $2.99 after coupon, Crest for .69 and our favorite shampoo for $1.29. Not too shabby!

I want to publicly say that this pregnancy has taken what was left of my memory after my 4 previous pregnancies. Honestly, it's gone. It's really insane all the things I forget throughout the day. So, having said that, know that I forgot to look at the pre-sale/ pre-coupon total. It was enormous though, trust me. I did calculate that I saved 30% just with coupons alone, so I imagine my total savings would have been somewhere around 60%. I spent just under $70 and I shouldn't have to buy laundry detergent or fabric softener until after this baby is born! {I paid, then promptly forgot half my bags there in the store and had to run back in for them. I'm awesome.}

The beauty of this sale was that most of the coupons I used came from the May P&G insert, so it was super easy to prep for my shopping trip!

Remember, the newspapers are SUPER CHEAP right now- just $20 a year! I saved about $30 using coupons just on this one trip, so you can see how quickly they pay for themselves. Get more newspaper info here. Orders submitted this week will begin May 19th- so just in time to get next month's P&G insert!

I'm looking forward to jumping back in with coupons and re-stocking my pantry a bit. Although I have to say too, it's nice to take a break once in a while! ;)

Edited to add: I wanted to mention too that the Protein Bar and box of Idahoan Potatoes were both FREE with Smith's coupons! The Protein bar was the free e-coupon I posted about Friday and the other was a catalina print off I got at a previous shopping trip! Don't ignore those catalinas, you never know what you might get!

Del Taco: Free Menu Item Every Wednesday in May!

Starting this week, Wednesdays in May mean FREE FOOD with purchase at Del Taco! This week, May 8th and next week, May 15th, make a purchase between 3 and 9pm and you can get a free item from the Buck & Under menu. The last 2 Wednesdays of the month, the free item comes from the New Tastes menu!
