Great Features of Adobe Photoshop

When it comes to image editing software, Adobe Photoshop is one of the leading and the best software programs in the market. Developed by Adobe Systems, Adobe Photoshop have become one of the standard programs by a lot of people, especially web developers, designers, advertising agencies, and even professional photographers world wide.

So, just what makes Adobe Photoshop so popular among a lot of people? And, what does it have that it can be used by a lot of different types of people with different types of work?

First of all, Adobe Photoshop is filled with powerful features. The tools it offers will be able to let you do quite a lot of possibilities in image editing. This is what basically makes Photoshop stand out from the rest of the other graphic software in the market today. Basically, the Adobe Photoshop contains all the necessary tools needed to enhance, edit, and alter images.

What are the features of Adobe Photoshop ?

The first feature is the selection feature.

This is one of the most basic tools in Photoshop but it is also one of the most powerful features. With this tool, you will be able to select a part of an image or a photo where you want the changes you made to take effect. The unselected areas will not be affected by the changes. This particular method is done with the use of lasso tools, pen tools, and the marquee tool.

Image size alteration is another feature that Photoshop is known for.

This particular feature will be able to enlarge or reduce the overall size of an image as needed. This particular tool will enable you to determine the size of the image.

Cropping is another powerful tool that is included in Adobe Photoshop.

This particular tool will enable you select a portion of the image you want to retain. The unselected portion of the image will be deleted. It’s like cutting the picture.

Sharpening and softening tool is another great feature that the Photoshop is known for.

With this tool, it will be able to let you sharpen blurry images, and also give a blurred effect on images.

Merging images is another great tool that is included in Photoshop.

With this feature, you will be able to merge two or more images as one. What this means is that you can convert individual pictures in to group pictures.

Removal of unwanted objects of elements in an image is another great tool that Photoshop is known for.

With this technique, one of the tools you will be using is the clone tool, which is essential in maintaining the texture of the image. This particular feature is particularly useful when getting rid of objects that are distracting in order to give more focus on the subject. This feature can also be used to get rid of acne marks in the face in close up portraits and it can also be used to make someone look younger by removing wrinkles and age spots.

Layers are another great feature offered by Photoshop.

With this feature, it will be able to let you work on different parts of a photograph and lets you put them together for a dramatic finish.

Adobe Photoshop Tricks For Beginners

Adobe Photoshop is a wonderful computer application to learn. This is basically an image editing software program that will allow you to edit, alter, and enhance images, such as photographs. By knowing about the basic tools used in Adobe Photoshop, you will be well on your way in becoming an expert on the program and even make some money out of it.

With Adobe Photoshop, you can make your photographs look professional and become a freelance photographer or you can even become a photography doctor, where you edit and enhance photographs.

However, before you start dreaming of making money out of Adobe Photoshop, you need to remember that there are still quite a lot of things that you need to learn about Adobe Photoshop. As a beginner, here are some tricks that will make work a lot more fun for you and also a lot easier.

The first trick is by turning any color in to the foreground color. To do this, you need to press I to activate the eyedropper tool. Then, click on the color on the image. This will automatically turn that color in to the foreground color. To turn that in to the background color, all you need to do is press the ALT key and click on the color in the image.

Changing the size of the brush is also an essential part of Photoshop. It is a fact that changing the brush size will require you stop working, click on the brush tip size and reduce or increase the size according to your preferences. This is time consuming. One trick is to simply press the right bracket key “]” to increase the size of the brush tip and the left bracket key “[” to decrease it. That’s how simple it is.

Also, by knowing how to activate the move tool with your keyboard can save you a lot of time. To do this, all you need to do is press letter “V” on your keyboard. You can also use the keyboard arrow keys to push the layer or the selection by 1 pixel increments. To speed things up, just press the shift key along with the arrow key to nudge in 10 pixel increments. This Adobe Photoshop trick will help you save a lot of time when working with Photoshop especially when you are working with layers.

Pressing the TAB button on your keyboard will hide all your palettes. Pressing TAB again will bring them back. Pressing shift and TAB will hide everything except the toolbar. This is one trick that will make working with Photoshop a lot more convenient.

To zoom in and out, you will usually click on the tool and click the mouse. To make it easier, the keyboard shortcut trick is to press CTRL and the plus sign on the keyboard to zoom in and CTRL and the minus sign to zoom out.

There are quite a lot more shortcuts and tricks in Adobe Photoshop. These are just some of the basic tricks that will make working with Photoshop a lot easier. By mastering the tricks in Photoshop, you will see that working with the software will be a lot faster and a lot more convenient.

Should I Create a Website? Do I Need One?

People always want to follow the latest thing, be it in fashion, sports, that kind of thing. Websites have become a necessity to almost everyone. Companies, businesses, individuals, even young adults have created personal websites with their respective purposes, be it for profit, or for entertainment.

What one must consider, however, before creating a website, are the factors in which must be put to thought before doing so, such as the cost, maintenance, use, web host and so forth.

Firstly, associating with the cost, we must always try to find an affordable host, not spending too much, nor too little. Also, regarding the efficiency and server/web host reliability, there are many cases of web hosts not providing the service they had assured other people, some had even shut down and were nowhere to be seen. Keep this note in mind, as if you would like a long-lasting website, this would be the first thing to look for.

Next, would hiring a professional be affordable? Is it the best option? For simple websites, we could always pick up the coding, or even use programs, as it is relatively simple. However, when it comes to more complex coding, and when you want it to do a tad more than just providing information, hiring help in doing so would be the best way. Not only in terms of design, but security is also a key factor in assuring a quality website. If the website also acts as a portal for businesses, security would definitely be the issue here.

So, having considered the things to do before building a website, do we actually NEED one? If creating one would boost sales or promote positive implications to oneself, then by all means, go ahead and do what’s best. Yet again, planning is the key to success, in everything we do.
