Learn to Sail with the Sailing Club: $5 UVM
Take a Hike with the Outing Club: Free. Must sign up in advance.
Sunset Cruise $5 UVM // $10 Guest, space allowing
Boston Red Sox Game: $40 (*First Year students receive priority registration for this event.)
Labor Day Comedy Show: $5 UVM // $10 General Public (*Tickets also available in the UVM Bookstore and online at FlynnTix.org.)

Rally On The Green

Kick off the semester with our biggest party of the year. Rock wall, bungee jump, inflatable jousting, & mini golf. Oxygen bar, body painting, & photo booth. Food trucks & roast-your-own s’mores. Plus, get info about (and buy tickets to) all our other WOW events! It’s all going down on the Davis Center green, immediately following the We Are UVM presentation for all first-year students.

Breath-Body-Mind Drop-in Group

This is a drop-in group. The gentle movement and breathing practices of Breath~Body~Mind are targeted to reduce the effects of stress and to enhance our sense of wellbeing. Coherent Breathing, an even inhalation and exhalation that slows the breathing rate to five breaths per minute, will be the primary focus of this drop in session, upon which other practices such as body scans, open focus meditation, and gentle movement will be added. Breath~Body~Mind is complimentary to other mind-body programs.

This event repeats all semester long until the last day of classes excluding UVM official Holidays.

Crafts and Snacks

Add style to your room with a decorated vinyl record. Stop by the Davis Center’s Grand Maple Ballroom to enjoy some free snacks and crafting. All materials and treats will be provided, while supplies last.

Taste of Vermont

Join us at the Davis Center outdoor stage for a sampling of Vermont’s eclectic local offerings, from delicious local cheeses & meats to Rookie’s Root Beer floats, live music and giveaways. Tickets are $5.00 and include a commemorative WOW 2015 can-glass & re-usable straw. They can be purchased at Coffee At The Catamount and most other WOW events, as well as at the door (if not sold out in advance).

Drop-in Meditation

Drop-in meditation groups are free and open to UVM students. No registration is required. All groups include meditation instruction, practice and discussion. Beginners are always welcome.

This event is located in Living Well in the Davis Center.

Hypnotist Show

Come to the Grand Maple Ballroom (Davis Center – 4th Floor) and enjoy watching your peers be hilariously hypnotized by Paul Ramsay, who breaks the mold of traditional stage hypnotism by letting the audience control the show with remote controls and polling software.
